2019 Dodge Challenger review
I've owned Porsche 911, a G35 and now this baby. I originally leased it for a few years and was going to give it to my son for his 16th birthday, but decided to keep it as it is STILL so much fun to drive. Fast, zippy, not one problem in 4 years. Just replaced the battery (AAA said I didn't need to, but after 60K, better safe than sorry). Replaced the tires at 40K. Other than that, regular oil changes. LOVE IT.

Joe answered all of my questions honestly and to my satisfaction. We would have chosen their vehicle/dealership if it hadn't been for a small issue with the out of state sales tax credit policy. I both bought and sold a car here recently. My sales associate CARLTON BOWEN was fantastic. SOLD: They gave me a very fair price on a 2003 Honda CRV with roughly 180K miles. The process was quick and painless. You do not have to buy a car from them to sell a car to them. I had done my homework before and knew what it was worth and I was offered a price higher than Kelly Blue Book. BUY: Buying a used car was more complicated. It took test driving many and lots of time on their website before I found one that met the very specific details I was looking for. I decided on CarMax because I did have a very specific car in mind that I had not been able to find private seller in the two plus months I'd been looking. Also, my sales associate CARLTON BOWEN was fantastic.He spent roughly a month helping me look at cars making calls to other dealerships and coordinating multiple test drives etc. I know having him as a salesperson made a huge difference. I had looked at other dealerships and was treated only like a wallet from the moment I entered. He worked hard to help me find what I needed in a car and was pleasant and respectful the entire time. Not at all the experience I had at other dealerships. With all of the hidden fees etc other places have, carmax was not more expensive. I was glad not to give my money to sketchy people at another place.

2024 Maserati GranTurismo review
I've owned my 2024 GT for 4 months and it has been an absolute pleasure. It drives and handles very well. The technology is pretty impressive. The only issue is that being a sport coupe has low clearance, so one has to be careful while parking next the curve parking and with speed bumps. However, it provides a great driving experience.

This little car packs a punch with the 2.0T, and will throw you back in your seat. It’s an absolute blast to drive. Handles well around town and on the interstate, where it could easily get one in trouble since it wants to GO. The same engine as is found in the GTI, so this should be unsurprising. Easily gets 30+mpg on the highway when cruising along, typically around 20-25 city. These cars handle city driving just fine, but they are meant for the freeway in my opinion. I find the interior to be quite luxurious. Heated leather seats (not available in the Golf) with plenty of storage compartments. Not many frills, just a sleek and mostly practical dash. The trunk is big enough for grocery runs, and the rear seats fold forward for larger loads. It’s not going to haul large appliances or furniture, although it could possibly carry some bigger stuff on a roof rack. The Fender audio system is impressive, wouldn’t change a thing about it except it could benefit from an updated head unit with CarPlay. This hasn’t been an issue for me. I think the car is a real looker, it turns heads and has drawn the occasional compliment. My used model had some imperfections, but it’s still a great looking car that I want to look after and keep for as long as I can. It feels well built, the doors close with the satisfying weighty thud of a premium vehicle. Overall, I am very happy with my 2013 beetle. It’s not only fun, but it seems to be reliable with a couple caveats that some owners might not be aware of. The 2.0T engine is designed for premium fuel, using regular will eventually damage it. The 2.5 can run regular, but I believe the 1.8T will also want premium. The reason for this is lower octane fuel will cause detonation in these high compression engines. If you don’t know what detonation is, just know it’s bad. The oil needs changed more regularly than the manufacturer recommended 10k miles. 5k to be safe, 7k at a stretch. This is especially true for higher mileage vehicles. Speaking of stretch, there is a known issue with some 2.0T engines where the timing chain stretches over time and many miles, so if buying used that’s something I’d have a mechanic check out. This is an expensive maintenance item, but IF it’s needed, getting it done along with the tensioner and a new water pump for good measure will ensure that the new to you Beetle is reliable for many years and miles to come. The other issue is carbon build up. Getting it cleaned out is not as spendy as the timing chain but it’s also not a cheap fix. I believe this can largely be avoided by using top tier fuel (it contains detergents that help with this) as well as regular oil changes and some regular spirited driving. Would not recommend this car to someone who mainly does town or city driving, the 2.5 engine might be better suited for that. According to my research, the 2.5 is quite bulletproof BUT it’s not good for any engine to be driven at low RPM all the time.

2018 Chevrolet Camaro review

2023 Toyota GR86 review
This is my 2nd Toyota 86 with my last one being a 2017 GT86. The new and totally improved 23GR86 is far beyond what I thought this car would ever be. This car is amazing for the price and if you truly love the feel of a sports car this is the one to buy! When searching, I knew that the FA motor was a good one but def had it's weaknesses that needed attn asap! I drove my car the way it was supposed to bbe driven and put 130k miles on it before trading it in on the new 2023. I had zero issues but also over service assuring that I ALWAYS had the best fluids in my car. I never even replaced my clutch just tires. The new 2023 GR86 is so much nicer then I expected it to be, it's an enthusiast car and now with the 2.4 mototr it has more then enough power to push you through the tightest of corners. It hadles like a dream and while it has a stiffer suspension then most like, you'll def appreciate when hitting the back roads with twists and turns. I drove the Supra to compare and disliked it in so many ways and all it is is a BMW. I'm 6'0 tall with long legs and have all kinds of room to stretch out. My shoulders are wide and fit perfect, it's not lacking in comfort at all with this year having heated seats in the premium. The headlights are badass and follow you around ever corner. The only thing I'm missing is fog lamps and there is no where to mount them. There is also no kits to install a aftermarket stereo and that really sucks. I have $7k in stereo and need a mount or it won't work. Other then that, if your on the fence, go test ride it! I have the manual 6 speed and it is amazing! The automatic has the paddle shifters and they work well but being such a sports car enthusiast, I only purchase manual cars. They start at under $29k and go up to $25k for a fully loaded automatic. I can promise you that it is worth every penny and the test ride will lock you in. DO NOT PAY OVER MSRP, there is dealers out there that aren't being greedy. Also PPF the whole front of the car or you'll have chips everywhere. It is the best investment and will make your car look amazing if done right.
