Drivers Choice review
Recently purchased a used car from this dealership. No pressure at all to buy a car, but obviously they only sell cars and don't know much about what they are selling. I asked if I could take the vehicle to my mechanic before I purchase and they told me "No, the owner doesn't allow it because of issues they have had." These cars came with 0 warranties unless you buy a separate one which doesn't cover a lot of the issues you might find. I feel that certain shortcuts are taken when these cars are sold just to pass inspection and then issues pop up shortly after driving off the lot with no help because you bought the car without a warranty. My car does have a few issues and now I"m left dealing with those, so be cautious and bring someone with you who is very familiar with the car you are wanting to purchase. An OBD2 reader is helpful also....

Given that it is 10 years old if given proper maintenance it will last well over 250k...expect to put in the basics along the way, but overall not a bad car especially for someone who can do minor repairs on their own.

2013 Dodge Avenger review
this 2013 avenger 2.4ltr engine....hey...its not the v6...but the 340 v8 is not the 440....in a ford....the 351 is not a 427...yet those are all good engines....the four cylinder gets going quite nicely...its 173 hp in a 3200 lb car...thats pretty good...final gear is 3:91...(is that correct)...thats a nice final gear....that helps to get this 4 cyl moving...

2008 Dodge Avenger review
The 2008 avenger rt we bought new. We currently have 264,000 miles on it and is going strong 💪. My single complaint is: it is equipped with the 3.5 engine, and from date of purchase, it uses a quart of oil on 1,500 miles. I brought this to the dealers attention. Their response was: this is termed by the manufacturer, nominal oil use. Thus the oil is only changed at 6000 miles, as l feel it has already had an oil change, having added 4 quarts interm of the 6000 miles. I was also told: leave it alone as some motors, (find a level and maintain it). What a joke! Not this motor. I drove 2,500 miles and went back to the dealership, and their was not a drop in the end of the dipstick! Thus checking it regular, it runs strong. As for a motor warranty, that is sure a sore spot! As for the car totally, outside of the motor oil use, it is an excellent car!

2008 Dodge Avenger review
Great car I get a lot of complaiments on it, My main gripe is maintenance. Try and change the sparkplugs or better yet try and pay a mechanic to do it... $600!!!! EVERYTHING IS HARD TO WORK ON. Try and change the battery haha.... better yet try and pay a mechanic $400 for a battery change xxx??? Don't buy this car, Its beautyful but its really hard to work on and its a gas hog.

2012 Dodge Avenger review
Bought the vehicle used with 90,000k. At 147,000k now for 3 years. Mostly highway driving. Downsides...Bad battery placement, poor alternator design, had to replace due to the pulley clutch. My 4cyl. Is a dog; way underpowered. The main power and is around 4,000rpm. That's really pushing this little 4 banger. The engine struggles over almost any grade in the road, especially in cruse. There are huge blind spots at the rear A pillar. The unprotected wires for the airbag sensors under the seats cause the airbag light to come on. Now the upsides. Best looking sedan in it's class, hands down. Alloy wheels, steering wheel controls, lighted cup holders, clean interior. Relatively comfortable seats. Excellent gas mileage (23-28mpg). The 6 speed automatic transmission makes the dogish 4cyl make the car driveable, as well as the slap manual for shifting. The radio has a HDD drive that holds a gig of music storage. Excellent sound system. Large trunk, rear seat access through the armrest. Overall; with preventive maintenance, driving responsibly, and regular oil changes/tune-ups I would expect another 100,000k (knock on wood).

2012 Dodge Avenger review
I've owned a 4 cylinder SXT for 8 years now and I'm very happy with it. I bought it at around 50k miles and now it's at 93k. I've never had a problem with it. It's been a very reliable car for me, and that's all I really needed it to be. Personally my favorite thing about this car is the way it looks. This is the best looking 4 door non-sports sedan you're going to find. It looks really nice on the inside too (the cup holders glow!), however it is worth noting this car has massive blind spots due to its interior design. I've let a few people drive my car and they always comment on this. I've personally experienced a much lower gas mileage than this car is rated for. I track these things and I get closer to 18mpg, and living in rural Iowa, I do more highway driving than city driving. While this car looks kind of muscle-y on the outside, if you have the 4 cylinder engine, it is anything but. People who have driven my car also comment about how hard the engine seems to have to work to get any acceleration. It is definitely not a problem (if you want performance, get a sports car), but it is noticeable to people who are used to other cars.

We've been keeping our eyes out for a later model Honda Pilot and found one at Compton, we called the morning of when we would be arriving and Terry the owner had the Pilot, up front, running, warmed up and waiting for us. Being a Pilot freak ( we previously owned one) Terry was more knowledgeable than we were, he truly knows his way around cars and does not come off as a salesman, more like a neighbor who comes over and fixes your lawnmower because he knows how. Terry's son who helped out with the paper work was also top notch. we took our newly purchased Pilot to our family mechanic the day after purchasing it and it came back with no issues. Bought a sedan for the daughter on a cash deal so never dealt with any financing. I knew going in that the car had a salvage title but it was newer and less miles on the odometer than average. The one guy seemed surprised yet confused when I brought it up but he confirmed it later. I knew this by googling the VIN number and discovering it was bought at auction in Columbus and actually seeing the "before" pictures from there. You folks should try that when buying. It was priced accordingly and the mechanic/body guy did a good enough job replacing panels and windshield. Drives and brakes straight, no shimmies and it'll work. Just skipped a few minor things though that are no big deal. Got title mailed in 2 weeks or so and paying cash makes it so easy. I had to replace brakes and one rotor but figured it was cheaper for parts and I do it myself than deal with his 50% co-pay warranty. My big tips are doing research on the VIN history and being heavily mechanically inclined or bring someone who is to "grade" the workmanship. Use the bathroom and take a quick peek into the shop, looked pretty straight up to me. Watch those mileages too and know what things are going to need serviced soon (e.g. timing belt, transmission, tune up, etc). Watch for "stale" cars that been there that seems forever too. I'd buy again if the deal is right. I'm actually writing this as I'm checking his lot online. Originally found him from Car gurus on that Great or Good deal Nissan once I looked past that rebuilt title. I'm usually the last owner of cars and drive them until they totally die so title status means nothing to me anyways. You'll need a bit of time if you try to finance or there are 2-3 customers in front of you. Same car, same mileage but clean title was $3,000 more at a regular branded dealer so my time and understanding that it was wrecked was worth it. Overall, it's OK but keep these points in mind.

2014 Dodge Avenger review
I have a 2013 SXT with Rallye appearance with 131,000 miles on it almost 3 years with it and I’m in love with it, where I leave we have an extremely hot weather reaching 52 Celsius during the summer, the AC is Icy cold 🥶, the cooling system has been surprisingly reliable for the weather we have, I only have done regularly oil changes, spark plugs, brakes and normal stuff nothing serious on it and I have drove it hardly and done many trips on it without any trouble, pretty comfortable and a great sound system mine has the Boston acoustics speakers and a sunroof, it has the 2.4 litter engine with a 6 speed automatic transmission and it’s just great is the third car we have at home with this engine and we really liked them and it has been a great engine for my family and I, even there are newer and more technologically advance cars this one has everything I need. Totally recommend it.

2011 Dodge Avenger review
I am honestly an easy person with vehicles, as I don't know or understand them enough to care. But this car works for me. I'm 6'5 and have enough head room. It takes turns with out feeling like I'm about to fall. Great gas mileage. Had my first issue at 90,000. But it was human error, rock lodged in wheel near the break. Had to have new breaks and calipers put on. Works great still. I haven't had to take my care in for anything other than oil changes. And the periodic maintenance as needed.

2008 Dodge Avenger review
This car helped me become a full time mom with football cheerleading daycare school work I was able to work in get to school with this car ( BELLAB) my kids love this car I dont want to let go but I cant afford it now
