2023 Lexus RZ 450e review
Absolutely love this car! Smooth, quite and just the right size. Beautiful interior and exterior. Some people complain about range but for me this works great. I'm getting between 3.7 and 3.9 kwh and a range of 255. It's a 2023 RZ450e AWD premium with 18 inch wheels. Not the longest range and not the fastest but true quality.

2016 Volkswagen e-Golf review
2016 e-Golf SEL bought use 2yr old for 16K with 28k mi. Now 10/2023 with 63k miles. Two tires an a bunch of wipers. Fun, handles well, cheap charging costs (4.2/kWh), 5.3 mi/kWh, practical layout. No updating the navigation, not the best visibility but great backup camera. Not thrilled about the defrost wires in the windshield but it is fast. One foot driving is great! Like a poor man's Model 3.

2026 Chevrolet Blazer EV review
2026 Chevy Blazer EV is as reliable as my 2018 Chevy Colorado, never give me any hiccup. Blazer is superior than my 2020 Chevy Bolt EV in performance as well as the looks. I recommend every red blooded American to give this car a test drive and you will be blasted by it's performance. I love the regenerative braking feature that I barely use my brake and saving the brake pads as well as the environment. Especially in this high price gasoline world today.

2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV review
I have owned my Silverado EV RST 1st edition for 18 months. This truck is awesome! It has everything, Power, range and it just looks great. I have had probably over a hundred positive comments about this truck. I have owned several different EV's and so far it is the best. At 66,000 hard miles still original tires probably will need changed at 70k. I would recommend this truck to anyone wanting a awesome ride. I really appreciate everything about this truck. With 4 wheel steering makes u turns on a dime. With 640 hp makes passing a breeze and with super cruise makes long trips a lot better. Way to go general motors!

2023 Chevrolet Bolt EV review
Awesome car. Simply the most car you can buy for the $$$. Only short coming would be for a person without home charging since DC charging is not the fastest on the Bolt. If you took a VW Golf GTI and mashed it with an old school quite, cushy Cadillac and made it cheap to own and run like say a Prius you would have the Bolt.

2023 Tesla Model X review
Excellent SUV. I primarily bought the X because it has the highest safety rating of any car tested by EURO NCAP. I know that my kids are safe and if anything were to happen we have the lowest probability of injury or death. That’s most important. It’s fun to drive, handles extremely well for a truck and it can easily pass others on the interstate. I save $5000 a year in fuel and charge overnight at my home. The autopilot is the best I’ve ever seen, it recognizes everything on the road at all times. It can see in every direction and I’ve never had an issue with it. They continually update the autopilot over the air, so you’re always getting the best version. The app automatically preheats and pre-cools in the winter and summer before I head to work which is one of the best features ever. I used to have a remote starter with my Q5 but I always had to manually start the car and it took forever to heat up or cool, if I forgot to pre set the climate before I left the Q5 it wouldn’t work. Overall I’ve had no issues. The other reviews seem disingenuous.

2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 review
I have owned our EQS 580 for about a month. It is my third Mercedes S Class vehicle, I owned a 2007 S550 4matic and subsequently a 2017 S550 4matic that I traded for the EQS 580. In addition to the typical benefits of its superior battery electric technology, the EQS is a more powerful yet quieter, more cosseting and more serene vehicle than either of my former top of the marque Mercedes cars. I measured the actual sound level inside the EQS at 73 MPH highway speed and found that it was 3db lower than than in my 2017 S class. The back seat area is not quite so opulent or roomy as those in my former ICE S class cars, but I did not opt for the highest level rear seat appointments in the EQS because we have never used the back seat for passengers except for relatively short trips in connection with social or business engagements. Even the unadorned EQS back seat is better than that of any other high end domestic or foreign brands we have owned. Our back seat passengers to date have invariably been impressed with the surroundings and comfort of the EQS. The car's lift back design provides a prodigious cargo capacity that makes it easy to pack for vacations or trips with large items. Even without lowering the rear seats, the practical capacity of the area behind the rear seat is substantially larger and more accessible than the cargo area of our Lexus SUV. The precise steering and excellent Level 2 driver assist capabilities of the EQS make driving a very easy and relaxing experience. The lack of shift points and the excellent one pedal driving capabilities of the car make operating it very satisfying. At first, the brake pedal feels a little odd when the car is in its maximum regeneration mode, but it's easy to get used to the feel, and the brakes are excellent. As with the S580, the EQS has 10 degrees of rear wheel steering that gives the vehicle a surprisingly small turning circle. It's too early to assess reliability of my EQS, but my previous ICE S550s were extremely reliable for a total of more than 200,000 aggregate miles, so I don't anticipate any problems. The onboard software, including the range planning software and the phone app, is excellent, and the hyper screen map display is unequaled. The controls, head up display and voice command system are essentially the same as those in the 2022 Mercedes S580. I opted for the augmented reality head up display, and I am very pleased with it. I am learning to drive for maximum range, and my average combined energy use so far over 1735 miles has been 327.5 wH/mile for a combined range of about 329 miles with full summer climate control engaged. Recently, I have learned to drive so as to increase the combined highway/city range to about 365 miles (295 wH/mile). The EPA range estimate is 340 miles (317 wH/mile) Edmunds got 422 miles on a full charge (255 wH/mile) in an EQS 450+, and I am working toward that goal. It will be interesting to manage the expected 20% reduction for winter range. High speed charging on the road is very fast on a 100 kW DC charger. The car will accept up to a 200 kW DC charge rate. I have charged the car on a Level 2 AC charger at about 9kW and a Level 1 charger at about 1.4 kW. The Level 1 charging is quite slow (ca. 4.5 miles/charging hour), but it is adequate in a pinch. I replaced the portable charger that came with the car with a Shell portable 40 Amp charger with a NEMA 14-50 to NEMA 5-15 adapter that will function as a level 1 or as a level 2 charger. I would not order the Mercedes charger and would apply the money toward the Shell charger if I had to do it over. Of course, the EQS 580 is very expensive, costing about as much as a similarly equipped S580, but such is the cost of top of the marque excellence. 2022 Polestar 2 review
I purchased a used 2022 Polestar 2 about 10 months ago. I have a PHEV Honda Clarity and I wanted to go all EV. The Polestar 2 has been a great car to own; it is very low maintenance, comfortable for tall drivers and passengers under 6 ft in height; the over the air updates are good, and we should be getting a NACS adapter in August 2024. I recommend the Polestar 2.

2022 Tesla Model 3 review
I own a 2017 Tesla Model S. It's literally the best car I've ever owned. I have driven it 157,000 miles and haven't done a thing to it except change tires. ZERO maintenance! No more oil changes, fluid flushes, belts, filters, nothing. I haven't even needed new brakes because the car slows it's self down so I rarely even touch the brakes. It cost me $400 to have my electrician put the proper outlet in my garage. I charge from home while I sleep. I am never inconvenienced by having to go to the gas station. No more pumping gas, getting gas on my hands, nothing, dripping down my car. I will NEVER own an ICE engine again. Couldn't be happier and will never go back. If you aren't sure, trust me, you will love every minute of driving this car and you will save money doing it.
