2020 Tesla Model 3 review
I purchased my 2020 Model 3 with 55k miles on it in 2026. The battery test showed that the batteries were in good health with over 80% of their original capacity still available. Both the interior and exterior had held up well. At the price for the used car, it is an incredible value. I'll save over half of the car payment on gas by charging at home. I love the minimalist look of the interior. At first, I thought the touch screen would be hard to use while driving, but with the buttons on the steering wheel and the temperature controls always present, it's very simple to operate while driving. The driver profiles that save your settings per driver are what makes the car so easy to love for me. My wife is a foot shorter than me. Having the mirrors, seat and steering wheel adjusted when I sit down are great. Also the bluetooth preference as well as all of the other car settings are saved to each of our profile, radio stations, driving dynamics, etc. The car is very sporty, especially for the money. It is much more sporty and fun to drive than anything else I have ever owned, including a Mini Cooper convertible. It will not best many cars you could compare it to, but it is also so much cheaper to purchase, and then maintain after the purchase that it wins in my book.

2018 Tesla Model 3 review
I'm 65 years old and have owned many cars and trucks all my life and this Tesla is completely different from anything else you will drive. People make fun of Elon Musk but he and his engine ers hit it out of the park with the Model 3 ! It looks great, drives like a dream, very quiet, instant acceleration, and "one pedal" driving where you never have to touch the brake. And all the different feature that the car does you can set up to your liking and most can be operated by voice commands. The car receives automatic "updates" over the "air" from Tesla so it is constantly getting better and learning new things.

2027 Chevrolet Bolt review
Great car for the money, it is my 3rd bolt and this one is the best I’ve had, although I didn’t have any problems with the other ones this one drives and rides better. It could use more sound deadening because there is a lot of road noise, other than that it’s a great car. I have the RS and I love it, I can’t understand why GM is going to quit making it!

2022 Rivian R1T review
The 14.5" clearance in the truck gives me ability to drive over the snow berm that the snow plow piles on the roadside that blocks my driveway. The all wheel power and computer control gives the vehicle ability to get in and out of my residence and to the store. The EV feature allows me to use my free elect power from my solar panels to charge my truck year round and avoid thousands of dollars for gas. The service centers just over 100 miles away are great inspite of the distance. The warranty coverage has been as it should be. The driveability is tops and the cameras spoil me because my wifes car does not have them like the Rivian does.

2020 Tesla Model Y review
We had this car for 6 years. 91k miles including many road trips from Tahoe to Southern California. We loved it. It’s a workhorse that requires no maintenance and never breaks. There are three amazing qualities where it really shines over internal combustion competitors. 1) operating costs are so low. $7 to “fill up”, no oil changes, never need new brake pads (regen braking) and no maintenance. Just tires, alignments and windshield fluid. 2) autopilot makes freeway driving so much easier. You can relax like you’re a passenger. Yes it’s not perfect so you need to pay attention but it’s cruise control x2 3) safety. Look at crash test ratings. We’re a family of four and 100 people die in a crash every day. #1 cause of death until you’re old There are a few annoying things. Charging on road trips can be annoying. You have to stop every 150-200 miles for 15-20 minutes. It goes through tires faster. Tires will be your biggest cost. For a set that’s warrantied for 40k, you’ll get 30k

2021 Tesla Model 3 review
This car has been the best I’ve owned so far. Even if you aren’t looking at a Tesla, EVs in general are so much fun! I’ve had little maintenance in the three years I’ve had this car so far (tire rotations, wiper blades). Every major software update brings either new features or improvements.

2026 Volvo EX30 review
Ultra Trim No more gasoline for me. This car is extremely fast and nimble. It's small and that's a plus in city streets It is VERY quiet and the Harman Kardon sound system is very nice. There is a learning curve with this car and as I get more used to the system, the more fun this car becomes. I am using level 1 charging so I just plug into a standard 115V outlet and that is plenty sufficient for me.

On April 30th, 2021 I had an appointment at Prime Toyota for a humming sound I heard when I turn the steering wheel. At 6 am. I parked my car and left the keys in the dropoff box. Came back and pickup the car not checking the entire car. As soon as I got home with the car I noticed the right passenger side had dents and scratches. I called Prime and the call went to voice mail. My mistake one i never check the car before leaving the dealership and second when I call back I was very frustrated and didn't leave a message. I called the next morning and spoke with Lacey DaRose who told me to bring the car in. I drove all the way to Prime Toyota West Roxbury. Lacey went and spoke with the Fixed Ops Director Malinda Burgos who spoke to me like was stupid telling me she's not arguing. She then told me she would fix the car and gave me a rental within a week, I told her to put it in writing and she wrote on one of her business cards and gave it to me.Here's my intake on all this, You never inconvenience a customer. She should have taken the car the same day to have it fixed and gave me a car . She told me to give her a week to call and let me know when a rental will be available . A week for me is a liftime especially the incident happen right there at the dealership. I gave her 3 business days. I called on the third business day and left her a messages she never called back. I was very upset the forth day and drove up to Prime Toyota, and met Alwin customer relations at the new Parkway Toyota and he made my day. I told him what had happened and he took care of the problem right away. He took my car and have it sent to the body shop and gave me a rental. Also Jason DaSilver both gentlemen were awesome and I honestly had no intention of going back to this dealership until I met these professional men. We purchased a used Honda Pilot from Boch Honda. The sales staff was friendly and we were not pressured during the process. On the second day after the vehicle was delivered to us we had transmission trouble, the dashboard light was flashing with a check transmission warning light. We called the dealership and spoke with Bill about our issue with the vehicle. Boch Honda came to our house to pick up the vehicle, they replaced the bad transmission and a week later returned the repaired vehicle to our driveway. They gave us a one year warranty on the work, we couldn’t be happier with this dealership.
2024 Jeep Wagoneer S review
Just bought a 2024 on a 2 year lease. Driving from Oregon to So CA. Very impressed with the car compared to the barebones long range Model Y I have had for 2 1/2 years. The launch edition has everything you could want - even massage seats for the driver and passenger. Have put 1k on the car and it drives very nice - perhaps not as buttery smooth as the Y but still very good. Range is 270 miles on highway in Eco mode - don’t know if the cool weather has something to do with the range. No real issues - don’t like the dial on the console for gears - prefer a stalk. Jeep software on iPhone is meh and not ready for prime time. Overall I really like it so far - plan is to ditch the Y once I ship the car to Hawaii.

2023 Toyota bZ4X review
What I do not like Remote start: There is no option just to start the HVAC, you have to start the car. The car needs to be locked. Why not combine 2 functions - lock first, then start HVAC. After getting into the car and starting, a number of features do not work and need manual intervention: Auto setting for heated seats and steering wheel Phone no longer connects. Manual intervention needed to connect CarPlay (several taps) I have not been able to get scheduled HVAC going from the app. Multi-Information display is almost obstructed by steering wheel. And I am 6’2”. Steering-wheel buttons are crowded. Setting, canceling, resuming buttons are close together and I need to look at the wheel to find the right button. Audio volume is much easier with a knob… I had to restrict the upper range of the lift gate opening so it would not hit the garage door. Now I hit my head on the lift gate edge if I am not careful. My car came with only 1 key fob. Several months later still no 2nd fob. Heat takes a long time to come on. Lack of recording cameras, like Tesla. Knob to put in Drive or Reverse. Easy to select the wrong direction. Pushbuttons are easier. Only randomly is CarPlay activated when starting car. I only want Carplay. What I like Auto parking brake. Seats are comfortable. Easy to drive the car smoothly. Comfortable. Auto heated seats and steering wheel. Qi wireless charger Wireless CarPlay (will not buy a car without it) Rubber car mats. Overall comments: I like the car, but the interfaces in the Hyundai Kona Electric I had previously were better.

2024 Kia EV6 review
I own a 2024 EV6 Wind AWD (traded in a 2012 Subaru Legacy Limited) and it’s probably the best car I’ve ever owned. And it can go 0-60mph in under 4½ seconds, which is on a par with some of my dream cars (Ferrari and Lamborghini from a few decades ago). Charging at home with a $150 charger that plugs into a regular power outlet is quick and adds power to the battery as I sleep. I have a YouTube channel where I post occasional videos, showing what it’s like to own an electric car in your silver-haired years. If you have questions, drop by and ask away.

I recently purchased a 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT, and it delivers exactly what I was looking for—performance, style, and modern innovation in one package. The acceleration is immediate and strong. The instant torque gives it a powerful launch, and the responsiveness makes every drive feel engaging. Whether merging onto the highway or navigating city streets, the Mach-E feels quick, controlled, and confident. Handling is solid, and the ride is smooth without sacrificing that sporty feel. It carries the Mustang character well, just in an electric form. The design also stands out—especially in classic Mustang blue—with a bold, athletic presence that turns heads. Inside, the technology is a major upgrade. The infotainment system is clean and intuitive, and the cabin feels modern and comfortable with premium touches throughout. I’ve driven other EVs like the Tesla Model S Plaid, Rivian R1T, and Nissan Leaf, and each has its strengths, but the Mach-E strikes the best balance between performance and everyday usability. Range has been reliable for my needs, and I’m already seeing savings compared to gas. Like any EV, charging takes some planning for longer trips, but it becomes second nature quickly. 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE 500 review
Had this vehicle for about a month and I have to say it's the most amazing thing I've ever driven! It's so quiet, smooth, and maneuverable with the all-wheel steering. And driving it with one pedal has been a very satisfying experience and gives you so much control. Plus, that quiet interior has made enjoying the superb Dolby Atmos sound system, playing Spacial Audio via the integrated Apple Music app, even better. It's like being in a personal sound studio! And add to that the hot back massage, ambient lighting, and, air balance fragrance system makes it a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The whole design is beautiful IMHO and truly reflects Mercedes's design language of "Sensual Purity", especially the front interior. I only wish it had a longer range, but with everything it offers, I'm OK with that until the battery technology for EVs improves. One final note. The HEPA filtration has been such a godsend with all the smoke from the Canadian wildfires and makes the inside air so fresh. After driving this, there's no way I want to go back to an ICE vehicle as it's just so superior in every way!

2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E review
My first EV car. Not sure if I love this car or the fact that it is an EV. What makes this a bit different from a Tesla is that it still reminds you of a regular car in terms of gear shifting controls and displays. My car is a premium trim, dual motor and long range battery extension, so if you get a lower trim, the experience might be slightly different.

Chris C was my sales person, he was very quick to respond to questions I had after I left the lot and also gave me detailed information about the cars I was interested in purchasing without haggling me to buy the more expensive car. When I had a question for him he would always answer it and send the brochure or the car detail info so I had it. The day I made my decision I was driving off the lot in a preowned vehicke within a few hours. I was extremely happy with my experience and would recommend Carmax in Westborough for anyone searching for a preowned vehicle. And i had been to other dealerships for test rides.
2024 Audi Q8 e-tron review
I purchased my 2024 Audi Q8 E tron about 6 months ago. I wanted to get into an electric car and with the new Q8 update the time was right. When I purchased the car the demand for EV’s was still very high. Audi has some more incentives now that consumers can take advantage of. The SUV is a beautiful luxury vehicle that I highly recommend. I purchased the Prestige package which has everything including massaging seats, color changing interior LED lighting and some other lighting on the exterior. These SUV’s are not cheap but I did not want to regret Geary options so I chose the Prestige trim. The ride, attention to detail and style of this suv is amazing. I get compliments all the time. This is my first EV so I had to learn that you typically should keep the car charged between 20-80%. Keep this in mind when shopping for your EV. The EPA range listed for the Q8 Etron is around 290 miles on a full charge. My driving is a mix of city and highway and there is no way I could ever get anywhere close to that. On a full charge my range is about 240 miles. Now I will say if you drive exclusively in the city you will get better mileage as the car regenerates power with frequent braking. If you drive on highway above 70 mph you will see your mileage drop. So in conclusion I love this suv and it is beautifully put together but I would not recommend if you have to make long trips. We have a ICE car so we can use that for long trips.
