I drove 10 hours from Central Florida to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. Tim did a great job describing the vehicle to me over the phone and he was spot on. There were no surprises. The staff at Shiflett ford are always looking out for my driving welfare, checking things that I don't even think to have checked. Knowing I was going to be traveling with our fifth wheel RV they knew I would want fresh oil with the new tires I wanted, they where very correct. Love the extra care that goes into my service. The service department is new and keep very clean and the shop is orderly and neat. From Roger to the mechanics all the staff is friendly and caring.

We recently bought a 2011 GMC Yukon, and the vehicle was in great condition, drives great, and looks just like the pictures online. The Salesman, Kim was very helpful to us in acquiring the SUV we wanted at a price we liked!
Went in just looking to add a new car to our family and ended up buying. Kim was so patient and showed me everything I asked to look at. He listened to what I asked for and pointed right to my New Ford Fusion! As soon as I drove it I knew it was the car for me!! I really enjoyed my buying experience and thanks to Kim for making it a easy stress free experience. Will for sure be back when we start looking again!

We had spent the last three days searching and trying to buy this exact truck and do so under budget. We had traveled 5-6 hours a day, to three states and at least eight dealerships. Each of these dealerships had the truck we wanted in stock. Each was given an offer by us for said truck and subsequent negotiations ensued. Some negotiations were short and some were marathons that lasted hours in the store and went on for days.
We walked into your showroom tired, beaten and discouraged. I told your salesman, Dave we were going to have to “speed date” a truck buy. He laughed and said he’d make the process as easy as possible.
To say he and you did would be an understatement. In less than an hour we completed the process. We bought the truck we wanted and stayed under budget. You made many concessions to close the deal,
Not the least of which was making us the strongest offer of any dealership for our trade. A full 10% higher than the next highest. There was very little back and forth. You made us an offer through Dave and we countered. Instead of sitting behind your desk or the one way mirror like other dealerships you came out and greeted us. We had a chat like we’d known each other for years as we whittled down the difference. You gave a little and we gave a little. We’d have liked to buy the truck for a little less and I’m sure you’d like to sell it for a little more. At the end of the day, I’m confident I got the very best deal anywhere this side of the Mississippi.
All I can say is wow. The irony of the whole situation is your dealership is one of the closest to us yet was the last one, obviously, we visited. We were down to one more if we were unsuccessful at your place and we would have to widen our search.

We live in Black Mountain but drive to Morganton for service on my Ford C-Max rather than go to Asheville Ford, where we found the service department to be rude and impersonal. The service department manager, Wayne, makes sure the job is done right and the coupons they send make the price comparable to any other oil service center.
