2018 Ford Explorer review
Love this car overall but I have only one complaint. I was putting some boxes in the rear of the car and one of the boxes must have touched the the rear seat folding mechanism as all of a sudden it tried to unfold the seats. If my grandchildren had been sitting there strapped in I hate to think what may have happened!! Wish you had coverage over the mechanism so this wouldn’t happen.

2018 Ford Explorer review
This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

Quiet, comfortable and powerful car. I have the twin turbo that puts out 400 hp. General gas mileage is 19-20 city and 24-25 highway. The only thing that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to be able to turn off some of the automatic operations on a semi-permanent basis.

2017 Ford Explorer review
Bought this car in 2019 as my daily driver. It has enough space to transport my large and was very reliable until about 160,000 miles. Gasket seal and O2 sensors failed causing me $800 in repairs. Not super expensive, but like the previous review says check to see if there are any open recalls. Currently at 230,000 miles and still driving. If you follow the suggested maintenance schedule you'll be fine. If not, you'll be in for some trouble.

I was looking for a Bullitt Mustang. Of course they had one. Their inventory is amazingly large. But the people were the biggest surprise. The guys at Future Ford were fantastic! There was no pressure at all from the salespeople—Junior and Shane were truly professional in everything they did. The test ride sold me. The ease in making the deal will bring me back to Future Ford. And they made me a screaming deal! John Le was informative and helped walk me through the warranty/maintenance options. I purchased one of several packages solely due to his information and my choice. There was no pressure at all. Had he tried to ‘sell me’ I would have bought none of them. If you need a Mustang, SUV or a Truck, go see Junior or Shane. I rate my experience as a 5 out of 5. Oh, and I LOVE the Bullitt Mustang!

Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Static in AM off and on ,and of course the business station 1220am about the market. UGH!! Third lease of explorer, so low in miles ,made it a purchase. 🤞👍

2025 Ford Explorer review
I purchased a 2025 Ford Explorer Platinum with the 3.0 liter 6 cyclinder. The car has lots of power and drives well. It has lots of acceleration and easily pulls a 5000 lb trailer. Things I like about the car: 1. Heated and cooled front massage seats. On a long drive the massage seats are fabulous! 2. Very good radio/sound system 3. Wireless Apple/Android connectivity 4. Lots of cargo space What I dislike: 1. Gas mileage between 19-22 mpg 2. Lane departure system annoying 3. Had a rattle noise in the front of the car at 9000 miles that the dealer could not find. At 11,000 miles, the rattle mysteriously went away. No idea what is going on here. 4. Sometimes when I open the rear hatch, the chime sounds loudly, The next time it does not sound at all. Wish I could just turn it off. ??

2021 Ford Explorer review
I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

I bought a used Toyota Tundra at this dealership. At first the truck wouldn’t start and they put in a brand new battery. The windshield has a star crack in it and they are going to put a new windshield in. (I have a buyers order so it’s in the contract). The financing guy was a little pushy. (I didn’t want gap insurance) and when he told me what the warranty was going to cost I lost my temper and stormed out. There was no way I was going to pay $3,500. for a warranty! They came out and talked me down and sold me the warranty for $1. over their cost. Yes the warranty costs them $. I had no idea. They made sure I was happy. Get a good sales person- they are like your defense lawyer and fight for you!! I highly recommend Lisa Sporhn. Just ask for Mama Lisa, she is wonderful to work with! Also Christian (One of the managers) is a really great guy and bent over backwards to make sure I was happy with my purchase.
2023 Ford Explorer review
Apple play used to connect but no longer does. Didn’t notice passenger door wasn’t installed properly until I took a road trip and the noise!!! Drivers side arm rest squeaks as though it’s about to come apart. Very noisy engine over 40 mph.

My experience did not start out great and I left a scathing 1 star review just two weeks ago. I will refrain from repeating the particulars of the combination of events and experiences that earned them that initial review. Brian Zwald (GM) and Mark Roos (Fleet Director) reached out to me very quickly with offers to make the experience right. I was very skeptical that there was anything that we could do. At that point I had already ordered and paid a deposit with the another dealership and was content to wait the seven months for the car I wanted. In the end, Mark and I agreed to a very fair and reasonable price that didn't leave me feeling like I was being taken advantage of. It was almost like the no haggle, no bull crap experience that I wanted from the start. Even better, through some dealer allocation magic, I might even be able to get my car sooner (which to be honest was really the only concession they could offer to get my business back at this point since the other dealer had already done or agreed to much of what they offered). While there is no promise as far as exact time frames or delivery dates (Ford Motor Co still control the manufacturing process and dealer allocations), I am pleased that they are making the effort. I also want to give a shout out to Yves Salas (former Sales Associate of the Year, former Rookie of the Year award, and recently promoted - congrats Yves!) who Mark assigned to worked with me to get the new order going. He was very knowledgeable (I'm one of those people who will ask a question I already have the answer to, so that I can establish a baseline of trust when it comes to the questions I don't have answers for yet), not only about the vehicles he is selling, but seemed to have a great deal of awareness of what else the other manufacturers are up to as well. If only he had been the one working the lot when I stopped by back on December 23rd and had the experience that really started this all off. All of that being said, I am glad we could work something out. This will actually be my fifth purchase from Future Ford since 1999 and I never had a complaint or concern about my prior experiences. While things did not initially go as smoothly as any of us wanted, if things pan out as we hope, I strongly suspect they will see me again when it comes time to buy car number six. 2016 Ford Explorer review
2016 Platinum. Nice SUV, comfortable, very powerful, decent fuel economy, fair build quality, but there are some things to be aware of; the AWD models have a PTU (power transfer unit) which sends power to the rear wheels. It is positioned very close to the exhaust, and the heat generated by the turbochargers literally cooks the gear oil in the PTU, causing it to fail. The unit only holds about a quart of oil, and is NOT serviced or checked, even when you have the vehicle serviced at the dealer. We had trouble with the front camera, and the recirculation actuator on the climate control. If you are considering a used Explorer, I highly recommend buying the best warranty you can! The only complaint I have is the road noise. On new pavement, it's quiet, but on all other roads it's VERY loud inside!

2021 Ford Explorer review
I often drive to the Michigan upper pennisula in the winter. This SUV has never disappointed me. One time I was driving up to Sault Ste Marie early in the morning. The road was slippery with blowing snow. The outside air temp was MINUS 41. i was alone with hardly ever seeing another vehicle. I kept thinking "trust this vehicle" because my life literally depended on it. I had no problems. And everything was on high - the defroster, rear defrost, heated steering wheel, heated seat, radio and keeping my phone charger plugged in. And in case you wonder why I would venture out in these conditions - I was called for jury duty and made it on time !! It has also gotten me out of deep snow.

2020 Ford Explorer review
I recently applied for a car from thrifty auto Sales In Westfield, Massachusetts, I received a call back from Mike. He wasn't a pushy salesman. He just actually was. 2023 Ford Explorer review
This is the first explorer that I have owned in nearly 30 years. I am coming from a ram 1500. I am surprised how comfortable this explorer is I’m really enjoying the gas mileage between 21 to 23 in town. I have not taken a trip on the highway yet.

2015 Ford Explorer review
Best Ford, other than a pickup, I've ever owned. Minor issues and recalls. All fixed or checked expertly here in Woodbridge VA. Only 80,000 miles. All highway. Tows a trailer perfectly straight. 4X4 with tow package. Getting ready to sell. Nobody else in the house to use it ! Lol
