Vantage Auto review
This is one of the best dealerships where you can buy the car you want. I bought a GMC Yukon Denali, an impeccable, beautiful SUV. The people who work there are all very friendly and treat you with great courtesy, and Jordan helped me with the entire purchase process. Jordan is very kind and very professional in his work. I recommend this dealership 100 percent; they are always at the customer's service.
1991 Ford Explorer review
I bought a 1991 Explorer that was fully loaded. The A/C didn't work, the power locks and power window gears all 4 quit working, the power mirrors didn't work, the power back hatch latch didn't work, the cruise control didn't work so basically - nothing worked except the engine and transmission. After 204K the engine finally gave up the ghost. Gas milage was about 16 mpg highway for a 6v 2 wd manual. That really stinks for a plain jane engine.

1997 Ford Explorer review
My 97 explorer v8 5.0 awd is great and Strong but too much gas $$...don’t use thicker than 10w30 oil or will start making ticking noises, change oil at least 3 times a year..it has 180,000 Gas pedal is riveted (bad idea) rivets broke and I drilled and installed screws w nuts. front hub bearings replaced ect .. if transmission feels like shuttering after 2nd gear try turning OD OVERDRIVE off .. Scan it w computer but usually is because of the lock up converter switch acting up ..4r70w trans’s valve body needs to be upgraded. I’ve been driving it like that for 5 years ..MAKE SURE IT HAS THE RIGHT OIL !!!!.i think is mercon on 5 ..BUT if oil looks DARK ..DONT REPLACE IT !..Too late for that. If oil is changed when is dark like black or almost black is a big chance trans will fail.

1998 Ford Explorer review
Great so far! Bought 3/15/21 used for 1200 as it needed exhaust and brakes. My previous sedan died so in a hurry! First 4x4, love that! Rust just on rocker panels and door bottoms, not bad for a 175K MN truck. Love the ease of transporting large items in the back. Don't have to worry about getting stuck in snow piles either. Love the Pacific Green and matching interior. Even has a block warmer for those below zero weeks. Love sitting high up, I can see many vehicles in front of me. Rides like a truck, cause it has a truck frame which I did want. Service records showed the previous owners used semi synthetic oil and changed it regularly which is a MUST for these SOHC engines. Comfy and good visibility on the road. Keeper!

Glad I happened to stopped in on my way home. I was looking for an SUV for our Midwest winters and Robert showed me a few different ones and I was able to take one home the same day. Thank you so much for being so helpful Robert, you were GREAT to work with.
1999 Ford Explorer review
I own a 1998 Explorer 4dr with the pushrod 4.0L V6. she currently sits at 245k miles and i plan on restoring it and driving it everywhere. its seen me at highs and lows. it runs like crap but gets me from A to B. These second gen explorers don't have quitting in their vocabulary. I love my explorer and plan on driving it while i can.

Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac of Ann ArborReviews
Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac of Ann Arbor review
Brandon was great! I was buying a car for my oldest son, Inlive in AZ, my son lives in IN, and the car was in Michigan. Brandon was ultra helpful, I requested that he Facetime time me so I could inspect the vehicle inside and out. Then, Inasked that he start the car & drive it for me as well! He didn’t even hesitate at my requests, just service with a smile. Thus all occurred in the late evening just before the dealership closed and Incalled to purchase the vehicle the next morning! Lastly, I needed to ship the vehicle to Indiana and Brandon connected me with Runner Runner Transport. Long story short, the car was delivered to my son within 48 hours, without incident, and HE LOVES THE CAR!!
2001 Ford Explorer review
The story begins in the dead of winter in 2004 my grandma found the 2001 ford Explorer sport in a dealer magazine we got the truck for around 5.000 dollars the truck had around 75.0000 miles on it at the time it was a great truck my grandma drove it till it had around 150.0000 miles on it in 2007 till the rear end started making noise she took it in to a mechanic to get it checked out i forgot what part it was but i do know that the people that had the truck before us pute the wrong parts on the truck at the end she replaced the parts for 15.000 dollars thin the mechanic said the transmission was going bad it would cost 15.000 to have it replaced she decided she didn't want to pute any more money in the truck so she gave it to my aunt whos ford Explorer went through more clutchs than rick frlare. Went through wifes so she than gave the truck to my aunt she drove it to about 250.0000 miles to they got a 2012 dodge charger they traded it in for 700 dollars to carmax at the end it had survived the stupid owners of the past it had survived me being born in the back of it on the way to the hospital it had survived getting rear ended in 2005 at a bank it had survived cash for clunkders in 2009 it had survived my idiot aunt to be traded in to car max for a crap v6 dodge charger carmax said it would be parted out

1998 Ford Explorer review
The vehicle currently has 350k on it. XLT SOHC 4WD. Kept up with maintainence since new. Commute, tow, offroad in it. It does everything I need it to. Plemty of room to go camping and tow stuff, and small enough to drive around LA. Never let me down, towing from LA to Vegas, and commuting 100+ miles daily. Only thing is that the rear axle seals leaked but it was an easy fix. Keep up with maintainence, and you shouldn't have any issues. also don't drive it like a sports car, which it isn't, altho the v6 has plenty of power. Would recommend in a heartbeat. I still own the car, and while I have an 02 ranger, I still hold on to my explorer.

1997 Ford Explorer review
The tranny is a Mazda. You can sleep across the back seat or put the back seats down and there's enough room for 2 to sleep. I've towed a Taurus and a TJ Wrangler with this. I've moved large, heavy dressers, refrigerators and stoves with this. It is my second car and the gas mileage isn't great but it is a tank. One thing they are prone to rolling over so spacing your tires out wider is a good idea. Some people cannibalize the axles and put them on TJ Wranglers. The gears are perfect and the axles will handle the larger tires. This is called the poor man's swap.

used 1 owner 2000 explorer 4x4 small parts needed replacement or soldering chips on circuit board for upper dash, shift solenoids. easy to fix parts, some parts no longer being made but plenty of part out vehicles to choose from. if you work on your vehicles and want a budget friendly vehicle I'd recommend this one as it will work for all weather conditions and a good family rig.

I've owned this car since 1998 bought it new in Santa Monica California I currently own it 22 years later with 300,000 mi on it is still running strong. This car is seen other cars come and go it's been kept in the garage for a couple years just starting it up occasionally now I drive it for work hauling along stuff and it's still running strong. Wish I could find another like it!

They responded quickly and sent extra pictures and information immediately when requested. They were helpful and did not pester me needlessly like a lot of dealerships.
2000 Ford Explorer review
my experience with my 2000 XLS has been superb. I got the car with 67,000 mi on it driven by my grandmother with all of the maintenance taken care of on time and it was driven very lightly. Since I have had it for the last 7 years I have put 175,000 mi on it with the majority of those being hard driving as I use it as my grocery getter and as my four-wheeling toy. It has never left me stranded. Inside of the motor seems to be bulletproof. That being said I have no door handles but I got around that okay. the accessories and bolt ons on the outside of the motor I've had to change a couple, but 90% of it is original and I still drive it hard.. Good job Ford!!!!!

1998 Ford Explorer review
I inherited this vehicle from my father who bought it new. It now has about 130,00 miles. I maintain it with regular service, and say yes to whatever the people at Valvoline recommend and whatever it tells me to do in the manual. You just have to keep on replacing a few parts now and then. I have replaced power steering pump, brakes, windshield wiper transmission, tires, battery, shifter lever, front ball joints, muffler, hydraulic arms that hold up the back window, and I think that's it in 20 years! At this point the electrical stuff is beginning to crap out (definitely repairable stuff): stereo dead, my door lock driver's side is dead, the cruise control no longer turns on, the driver's seat no longer moves forward and backward all the way. The ceiling is starting to disintegrate, the vinyl on the center island has cracked and disintegrated. Significant rust underneath, creeping up the sides just a little. But it just keeps on running!

1999 Ford Explorer review
Two tone black/gold. tan leather seats, I mean it is a fully loaded - Eddie Baur explorer. I have owned it since day one. I have it still to this day!!!!! It has been so good to me and my daughter. It was used in a movie (mexican banditos with machine guns, shooting at the border patrol)! We drove it EVERYWHERE in the USA, I am talking DISTANCES, from Los Angeles, to Las Vegas, to Nashville, Florida, to El Paso, to California AGAIN! I lived in the Canyons and we drove it to Malibu beach regularly. I will NEVER PART WITH IT! Someone Uber Driver not paying attention t-boned me yesterday on the drivers side passenger door behind driver seat. It stood up to it is driveable and only has side door damage and body above rear tire. I am going to have to fight the other guy's insurance company not to total my vehicle out. I was restoring it little by little. It has been our good luck vehicle! I haven't had a car payment in 25 years. Jessie Monster

I've owned this car for a bout a year now. This has been the best starter car for me. I have the V6 version so towing isn't all there but I could still tow. Pros- drives like a truck, ride height is amazing, very easy shifting no problems, shifter is a little hard getting used to, amazing stereo, great 4x4 feel with that control trac 4WD, Leather seats on driver and passenger, AC controls in the middle, great trunk size. Cons- sometimes can't see that well because the windows are big, rear view mirror a little bit small, little slow.
