Was in deep search for a vehicle for winter, and was lead in the right direction by Garrett Heinlen, was super easy to work with and made the process go super smoothly.
2023 Ford Explorer review
Quiet, comfortable and powerful car. I have the twin turbo that puts out 400 hp. General gas mileage is 19-20 city and 24-25 highway. The only thing that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to be able to turn off some of the automatic operations on a semi-permanent basis.

Cory assisted me in purchasing a 2022 Highlander and he was great to work with. I was lucky he found me the exact model in their inventory and the whole process took less than 2 days. Cory was very knowledgeable and offered valuable suggestions along the way! Also, Bob Loreno was a valuable addition to my little team with his knowledge of the finance side (;-))

They responded very quickly to my request, very friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle I requested information on.
2025 Ford Explorer review
I purchased a 2025 Ford Explorer Platinum with the 3.0 liter 6 cyclinder. The car has lots of power and drives well. It has lots of acceleration and easily pulls a 5000 lb trailer. Things I like about the car: 1. Heated and cooled front massage seats. On a long drive the massage seats are fabulous! 2. Very good radio/sound system 3. Wireless Apple/Android connectivity 4. Lots of cargo space What I dislike: 1. Gas mileage between 19-22 mpg 2. Lane departure system annoying 3. Had a rattle noise in the front of the car at 9000 miles that the dealer could not find. At 11,000 miles, the rattle mysteriously went away. No idea what is going on here. 4. Sometimes when I open the rear hatch, the chime sounds loudly, The next time it does not sound at all. Wish I could just turn it off. ??

Mills Honda review
I requested a referral to a sales rep from a friend of mine - he referred me to Joe Erickson at Mills Honda. to this point in my search I have had what I consider terrible customer service from other used car dealers and was hesitant to meet yet another one. To my great relief I was introduced to Joe and Mills Honda. It was a great pleasure and would recommend Joe and Mills Honda to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. Thank you again for the great experience!

Very friendly and easy to deal with. Overall great experience. Test drove the vehicle on a Saturday and purchased it on Monday.
2022 Ford Explorer review
I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

Hunter was organized and completed the sale with ease. But I was wondering about the notice shortly after the sale that Ford was offering employee pricing. Would that have affected our price?
2021 Ford Explorer review
I often drive to the Michigan upper pennisula in the winter. This SUV has never disappointed me. One time I was driving up to Sault Ste Marie early in the morning. The road was slippery with blowing snow. The outside air temp was MINUS 41. i was alone with hardly ever seeing another vehicle. I kept thinking "trust this vehicle" because my life literally depended on it. I had no problems. And everything was on high - the defroster, rear defrost, heated steering wheel, heated seat, radio and keeping my phone charger plugged in. And in case you wonder why I would venture out in these conditions - I was called for jury duty and made it on time !! It has also gotten me out of deep snow.

I recently purchased a Ford Escape from Minnesota Truck Headquarters Brainerd, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! Garrett, my salesperson, was incredibly helpful and made the process easy and enjoyable. Tim, the sales manager, and Tom in finance were also fantastic to work with. The entire team was fast, friendly, and never made me feel pressured. They offered a great price on my new car, and the process was smooth from start to finish. I’m absolutely loving my new Ford Escape and would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a vehicle. Thank you, Minnesota Truck Headquarters Brainerd!
2022 Ford Explorer review
I love this vehicle. My 2022 Ford Explorer XLT far exceeds my expectations. Handling is great. Performance is far better than expected. Gas mileage is 26mpg combined average for the 16,500 miles I have on the vehicle so far. The interior fit and finish could be better and the original tires...not holding up very well. The vehicle is comfortable and always a pleasure to drive. I always get compliments on the exterior style. In my opinion, it's one of the better looking SUV's on the road. The rear biased drive train give it superior handling, better than anything I test drove. Chevy, Subaru, or the Kia.

Thank you! After experiencing a low tire sensor alert during the storm on Friday, I pulled in without an appointment, and took a chance to have my tire looked at. Your service team took care of me right away. They kept me informed of the progress and fixed the issue. Plus my car got washed! I am not from the area and I am grateful for your service. Again, thank you!

2020 Ford Explorer review
Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Static in AM off and on ,and of course the business station 1220am about the market. UGH!! Third lease of explorer, so low in miles ,made it a purchase. 🤞👍

My 2014 F150 and 2015 Explorer have been serviced at Aitkin Motors since I bought them used in 2018. We have been extremely pleased with the service at Aitkin Motors. That is the reason we ordered our new 1023 explorer from them.
2021 Ford Explorer review
I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

Extremely pleased with the customer service we received from Jeff Kjelstrom with purchasing our 2024 Ford Edge. We came in on Monday and he had it delivered on Wednesday. He was very helpful with finding the right car for us at an excellent price. Jeff was very knowledgeable with all our questions. We really appreciated his friendly service without any pressure. We highly recommend him to anyone buying a car.

This is the first explorer that I have owned in nearly 30 years. I am coming from a ram 1500. I am surprised how comfortable this explorer is I’m really enjoying the gas mileage between 21 to 23 in town. I have not taken a trip on the highway yet.

Motors-N-More review
Jeff is the most helpful of any person in the auto business. He helped me find a car at a reasonable cost, and let me drive vehicles as long as I wanted to test them. I've called a number of times for help with questions I've had, and to top it off, almost a year after buying a car from him I was in a bind and needed a larger vehicle to haul a bed. Without hesitating he told me I could use whatever I needed. Jeff is without a doubt a great guy, and certainly takes care of his people.
2018 Ford Explorer review
This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.
