After sending the email, via cars.com, I got a text back within a few minutes saying the SUV was available and a salesperson would check with me to set up an appointment. I spoke with Jamie shortly thereafter and met with her at the dealership. The SUV was washed and ready for me to see and test drive. The rest of the purchase experience was fantastic!! My Ford Lightning is more than a truck. It provides all the options of truck functions at a fraction of the cost when compared to combustion vehicles. Being an electric vehicle, it can also power my home during power outages. This is huge as I reside on the coast and am prone to storms.

2022 Ford F-150 Lightning review
I have had my Ford Lightening Lauriet standard range for 6 months and about 12 k miles now. Great ride, no maintenance at all. Very quick. The Bluecruise is best on market (better than Tesla autopilot, I also own a Tesla). Forget towing any distance. But otherwise it’s a F-150 that costs roughly $0.07 per mile to drive when charged at home. Equivalent to 50 plus mpg with no oil, transmission,air, differential maintenance. As far as best Electric, I also own a Tesla Model Y Performance. Not even close. Control panel two wheels and stalks you have mastered Tesla in 4 hours. The ford is a bunch of knobs, stalks, buttons (many totally unnecessary like power button) trying to look like gas car. Which make the display an add on control annoyance rather than a control center. Do your research before road trips, don’t depend on Ford recommended stops and ranges. Some fast chargers truly fast and multiple bays. Some 1/3 of Tesla supercharger speed and single bay that may or may not be working. I have taken 1300 mile road trip. Did my charging plan. It was work. Again I am jaded as a Tesla owner. With Tesla, go anywhere follow there suggestions don’t even need to think about it. Flawless. For us as a Play Farm, daily commute vehicle we love the lighting. I listed some shortcomings which is a big part while sales of new lightnings are way down. Like my truck, but if could do over I would have waited for the Cybertruck or bought a Rivian.

What an awesome truck. It will allow me to do everything I could do in my regular F150. It is a fun vehicle. No, I am not towing long distances often. It is Used for traveling 50-75 miles daily. I can also take out of town trips with it, no issues.

My favorate vehicle i have ever owned. Dont pay attention to unfounded comments by EV haters. If you use your vehicle mainly in a 250 mile radius this truck is perfect. I charge at home once a week. If you typically take long trips, it may not be for you. Front truck is invaluable. I have 11000 miles, and have saved close to $2000 already over a F150 ICE version.
