2023 Ford Escape review
In December 2023 I bought a new-used 2023 Ford escape with only 1100 miles on it. So it was basically a brand new car, and I got it at a discount because it was used so it was very well worth the money. It’s been an awesome car but I have one complaint: there is way too much reliability on the electronic display. All of the cars systems run through that including the air conditioner!! The problem is, like any computer, it doesn’t always immediately boot up upon starting the car, sometimes it takes a few minutes to get going, and in the meantime you are absolutely burning up! There is no way to turn the air conditioner on via the dashboard!! I simply do not understand why they couldn’t just put simple dials on the dashboard to turn the air conditioner on, As cars have had for many many decades now. It’s really ridiculous. I live in Georgia and it’s 98° and 80% humidity, I need the air conditioner to start blasting as soon as I get in the car! But that’s really my only complaint , it is an awesome car otherwise.

This was my first car purchase from a dealership and I must say it was a quick and painless process! I’ve heard horror stories about car salesmen and dealerships and all the headaches associated with the two. So I was skeptical about even attempting to purchase a car from a dealership of this size. But I found a car that I loved on their website and after inquiring online, their internet salesman, Carson, reached out. He was very nice and super helpful with any questions I had and even helped me schedule a test drive! When I got to lot I drove around until I found the car I had seen online. The info online was accurate as well as the photos! I was then approached by Richard Morgan who asked me all the right questions and was very quick to get the keys and send me on a test drive! Richard was absolutely fantastic and made this intimidating experience a memorable one! I decided to think about the purchase after the test drive and Richard was very understanding. He and I spoke on the phone for the next few days and we came to an agreement on the purchase price!!! He got all the necessary paperwork ready and even got my financing approved before I got off from work!!! I was in and out of the office in about an hour, with my new car!!! 5 star service! Highly recommend Richard, Carson and the whole Shelor team!! I can’t say enough good things about my experience! All my future vehicles will be purchased from Shelor Motor Mile!!
2024 Ford Bronco review
More fun than I've ever had! I recently purchased a 2024 Bronco outer banks. Yes the road noise is bad mmmm but its a soft top convertible and yes the premium radio was not great so I added a 500 watt subwoofer. But the truth is I feel Like a kid when I drive it!!! if your looking for a Lexus this aint it but soooooo much fun!

2022 Ford Explorer review
I love this vehicle. My 2022 Ford Explorer XLT far exceeds my expectations. Handling is great. Performance is far better than expected. Gas mileage is 26mpg combined average for the 16,500 miles I have on the vehicle so far. The interior fit and finish could be better and the original tires...not holding up very well. The vehicle is comfortable and always a pleasure to drive. I always get compliments on the exterior style. In my opinion, it's one of the better looking SUV's on the road. The rear biased drive train give it superior handling, better than anything I test drove. Chevy, Subaru, or the Kia.

2025 Ford Bronco Sport review
I’ve only had my Bronco for a little over month now and have only driven it for 2 weeks because I was away but I am very pleased with it and highly recommend it. My last vehicle was a Jeep which I drove for 10 years and never reached 60,000 miles. I am confident that my Bronco Sport will serve me just as well as the Jeep.

2025 Ford Bronco Sport review
I’m 54 years old and this is the most fun vehicle I’ve ever owned. I’ve always been a Chevy owner. I’ve had everything from a Corvette Z06 and Camaro SS to a Colorado ZR2 and this is the first time I have looked for excuses to drive a vehicle. It handles great, super comfortable and fun. Plus it looks great! It’s been every bit as reliable as any other car I’ve owned. Let’s talk fuel mileage… I’m averaging 29 mpg in the city.

2022 Ford Explorer review
I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

2023 Ford Escape review
For those of you that don't like the over reliance on the computer dash for things like the AC.. Ford did not start doing that till mid 2023.. when looking at 2023 models, look carefully at the dashboard. some have a smaller computer screen and the 2 knobs and buttons that regulate the AC. those are the ones you want.. they also are $4-5K cheaper than the models that have the larger screens and no physical AC buttons so win-win.

2024 Ford Expedition review
Purchased new July 5, 2024 now have approx 16,000 miles recently took a trip that was total 4,000 miles. I have a '22 Base. My wife and I love it. We needed a 4x4 when we move to a more rural state and although we're generally happy with the vehicle, we can't help roll our eyes of the number of recalls and reliability questions surrounding the model. Had I known about the difference in the 1.5L to 2L engines, I'd have opted for the 2L engines, but that's only available at the top trimmed Badlands. This is almost the perfect vehicle for a two person household who has a dog, likes to take day trips and it pretty good on fuel economy (32mpg over 15k miles). The interior is pretty cheap, however. I would recommend the vehicle, however, but only with the 2L engine and only with a warranty. There are just too many concerns with this vehicle to own it without a warranty

2021 Ford Explorer review
I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

2013 Ford Edge review
We had our 2013 Ford edge for many years had zero problems with it until a stupid driver parked next to my husband and totaled the car. I live out of state and felt it was time to reward myself with something very nice regarding a car. I focus my attention on purchasing a 2017-18 Mercedes C300 convertible. After searching and being disappointed by several snake oil type sale's persons who wanted way too much for a car with way too many miles. I stumbled across the car of my dreams which is a Red 2017 Mercedes AMG convertible with only 2200 miles at a very reasonable price. I was thinking this can't true(like the old saying goes too good to be true it usually is) I contacted Covington Car Company and spoke with Jeff a very kind gentlemen who explained the vehicle is still available? He was very patience in explaining how Covington Car Company obtained the vehicle and sent me the carfax for the Mercedes. Jeff went as far as taking a detailed video of the exterior and interior of the car which I became convince this is real and true and to make this deal now in which I've done. Jeff is there every step of the way including assisting in the transport of the car to Nevada. I dealt with a lot of "get all you can from the customer" type sale's person. Jeff is a true professional who's mindset is gear to having repeat customers and giving excellent customer's service . Buying a car is challenging and buying a car out of state is beyond Challenging but rest assure Jeff will be there for you to kick the tires and whatever it takes to make you feel comfortable with your big purchase. I received my dream car on 03/25/22 thanks again for everything.

Do your homework and research the vehicle of your choice. I bought the escape used in 2024. So far, no recalls and it was a great buy, and I love it. I have the 2.0 turbo 240 horsepower. I use premium gas, full synthetic oil and change the transmission fluid every 30 thousand miles. I also read that once you get to your destination, let the car idle for 10 seconds so the turbo has time to rid any excess output.
