2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio review
Bought a used 2018 loaded Lusso Ti for a good price coming off a lease, in late 2021, for all the luxury and performance, it was a great deal, have had no issues, car looks great, is comfortable, and I just use Apple car play, and prefer knobs to touch screens ( it was funny to watch my son try to use it as a touch screen) can get 30 MPG on the hwy easy, but it's easy to go faster and get less. the DNA is Dynamic, Normal and Anemic, you do have to get used to the car not taking off instantly, D is OK, A not good for folks taking lefts on flashing yellows. Great ride and comfort for longer trips. and the backup warning works great!

2023 Mazda CX-5 review
I am delighted with my 2023 CX-5 Signature in the hard-to-find Eternal Blue. I've had it about one year now and it's more than adequate for my driving needs. No, I don't need a rattle-prone pano sunroof. The six-speed non-CVT transmission is just fine. Never need or use(less) the paddle shifters. Performance with regular fuel is just fine. As an "early senior", I don't need huge cargo or passenger space. Only complaints are the Apple CarPlay isn't wireless; and miss the power tilt/telescope steering wheel and power memory exit seat that I had on my unbeloved '20 Lexus NX (which I was glad to get rid of!). All told, I'm a Mazda believer and buh-bye Lexus!

2013 Honda Ridgeline review
Purchase the Ridgeline used. I like the way it drives and handles. Used through several home renovations handled loads fine. One major problem with all Ridgeline roof racks they leak all four stanchions in the car show leakage Honda refuses to admit it's their problem

2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe review
The JL exceeded my expectations. In the past Wranglers were clunky and didn't really feel like they were put together too well. My son had a JK and it was a huge advance forward. So I decided to buy the JL and I think it was another huge leap forward. I have fully loaded Ram 2500 but I find myself taking the Jeep most of the time. Okay part of that is trying to park a long bed crew cab, But I do enjoy driving the Jeep and have taken it across country a couple of times. After a 122,000 miles I still love it.

On my second set of tires. Second set brakes. It's a highway vehicle for sure. Quick precise steering. It's a keeper so far. Two minor repairs. Brake pedal sensor. Can't remember the other thing.

2023 Toyota 4Runner review
Great looking, fun to drive 4x4, super reliable, leather interior but strong enough for 2 dogs and 2 kids. Goes anywhere. Roof rack easy to use. HAs all the electronic helper (BSM, cross traffic alert, lane keeping, adaptive cruise). The downside is the gas milage. 16.5 to 18 mpg depending on time of year & type of gas (summer vs winter gas). No service issues in 45,000 miles but they did some fuel pump recall when I was in for an oil change

Hello, I just wanted to take a minute to reach out to the Manager of the Service Dept and Dealership and tell you how much I appreciate Zeb Holmgren for the help and outstanding customer service he has given my family and I with servicing, repairs and keeping our Subarus on the road. My wife and two kids have Subarus and as busy as everyone is I'm the last to hear about any kind of problem they may be having with their cars. I also work and just don't have the time to deal with a lot of the issues unless very, very minor. Pretty much anything beyond topping up the windshield washer fluid, checking air pressure and oil - that is when I pick up the phone and call Zeb. I have found Zeb to be most professional, extremely knowledgeable about our cars, no matter what we're coming to him with and always friendly and congenial. Zeb is either there, or if I leave a message for him, quick to respond. You know it's not so much about the Dealership as it is about the people that work there. Hey don't get me wrong - it is a phenomenal Dealership - Sales, Service and Parts Dept (& coffee bar) from the front door to the back. It is really about people you know you can trust, that are honest, knowledgeable and make you know that they "have your back" and are always there for you. You know my Dad, sadly no longer with us, who was a car nut, would have loved Heuberger Subaru. He told my two brothers and I that you have to keep your car ready to get on the road in the event of an unplanned emergency. When something breaks, you get it fixed right now. Otherwise after numerous things go out on your car - you are driving an undependable junker, whether new or old. You have to know that you can depend on your car to get you to where you need to go day or night. Of course things can happen. Several years ago when our Outback overheated in Texas, the first people I called was Heuberger Subaru Service in CoS. They (Zeb & Bernard) advised me on what to do and were involved in getting help from Subaru of America, getting our car fixed and back to Colorado. 2025 Subaru Ascent review
First Subaru ever. Got the Ascent Touring onyx. Fully loaded. The handling is great. I love the all wheel drive. It is much zippier than my Toyota Highlander Hybrid. For the money, the safety equipment, and extras are worth it. I LOVE the auto vehicle hold! Never knew I needed it until I had it. I miss the mileage of my hybrid, but the amount I drive it is not too much of an overall ownership cost difference. The center counsel system is slow to react sometimes, and would like physical buttons. Otherwise I love the large screen. Happy that the shifter is actually a shifter not a button or knob. Love the rear view camera, and surround cameras for parking are good. App, is better than most, and facial recognition is great for seat, mirror adjustments and lifetime gas mileage!

2021 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque review

2024 Nissan ARIYA review
Admittedly, have not had this vehicle for very long, but I am very impressed. And I am difficult to impress. Previous vehicle was an ‘18 RAM 1500 with V8 Hemi. It was fun, powerful, loud, and I enjoyed sitting up high. Two weeks in the Ariya, and I don’t miss it. I have the AWD version, and this thing moves at the frequency I think. I mean, you see a space in traffic you want to get to, check blind spots and BAM, you’re there. Handling is crisp and tight, remaining so at highway speeds. Bumps handled like a luxury mobile of 2X the cost. Cabin is quiet, spacious, and does not feel cheap. Tons of features, power everything. Screen bootup is rapid and has my tunes going by the time I’m buckled in and have my glasses switched to my sunglasses. Heads up display tells everything I need, and well positioned. Charging so far has not been an issue in the least. Installed a ChargePoint charger in my garage, and it’s easily setup and controlled through their app, so it charges on schedule according to my utility provider’s preferred charge time, giving me a break on the electricity used to charge it. All told, I’ve spent $6 over 2 weeks and 500 miles. Truck would have cost me a tank, or 30 gallons of gas for same distance.

2024 Ford F-150 review
Overall, I love my 2024 STX 4x4 Supercrew. It's comfortable, reliable, and gets great gas mileage with the 2.7 ecoboost. I had one small repair done under warranty that took less than 3 hours and I have over 13k miles on it. My only mild complaints are that the ride could be more forgiving over bumpy pavement and that the turning radius was better.

2023 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I have a 2023 GMC Sierra Elevation crew cab 4x4 with the 2.7 Turbomax. Bought the truck used as CarBravo certified with 42k miles. I like the truck overall but have a couple of specific things that I would like to share: 1. If you are used to a V8, the 2.7 performance seems comparable to me, but the sound of the engine constantly reminds you that you are actually driving a 4 cylinder. It also feels a little more restrained than a V8 would feel in my opinion. If you’re looking for a V8 feel, skip the turbo for sure. It’s not a bad engine, just a different driving experience. 2. If you are considering this or any other GM truck, know that the factory wax coating on the frame rails is garbage. It comes off very easily and the frame rusts when that happens. Fortunately, mine isn’t too bad, and I have a plan to fix it, but it’s a maintenance pain that doesn’t have to be there. Fixing this is also an added cost I didn’t expect. Ford, Ram and Toyota all use an electro-coating process that seems to be better. The Sierra is a good truck overall, just know what you’re buying ahead of time.

2023 Toyota 4Runner review
We chose the 2023 4Runner Limited because of it's reliable 1GR V6 engine and the simple, tried and true, 5 speed transmission. And NO turbo! The interior is detailed and attractive with clearly reachable buttons and knobs for climate, radio, and touchscreen. The ride is much better than described in many reviews. We find that it is similar to our former GMC Yukon. The one downside is it's fuel mileage. In real world daily driving we're getting 18-19 mpg around town and 19-21 on the highway. Our Highlander gets 21-22 mpg in town and 24mpg on the highway. This is our 4th 4Runner so we know what to expect. Our 2004 is still on the road with 278,000 miles; going strong.

2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe review
Bought my 2024 used with 13k miles on it. Maybe I'm old school due to prior life with a 97 TJ and and 01 XJ but this car is fantastic to drive and very luxurious. Perhaps not as tech heavy as other SUVs, but it does everything I could hope for, and has been fun for road driving and light off roading.

Performance value for the money. It’s more fun on a manual gearbox. This car delivers all the fun BMW can do. An analog transmission is a classic.
