2014 BMW 328 Gran Turismo review
Great family car that is super fun to drive. The cargo space and rear legroom are amazing! I have a tall family and everyone can travel together in comfort. Add in the panoramic moonroof, rear climate controls and heated rear seats and you get a lot of bang for your buck in this underrated hatchback!

2015 Nissan Versa Note review

2013 Subaru Impreza review
This is a terrific car for someone who wants a reliable, economical car that's great in snow and ice, and gets excellent gas milage. To help maximize your mpg just watch the dashboard meter that tells you when you're getting the best mpg possible. If you're not (like the reviewer who said he got only 18 mpg) then you're driving too fast and you can't blame the car for that! I love my Subaru!

2017 Honda Fit review
Bought it new in 2017 because I wanted a small car that didn’t crumple in an accident. Well it didn’t. Had a major accident and it was totaled. Hit by a much larger truck combined front and driver side collision, went airborne over 2/3 lanes, knocked down utility poles and stopped. I crawled out the drivers door with only bumps and bruises. I am 76ers old. Nothing in the car touched me, except the airbags. The medics didn’t believe me. (I am an RN). I am so grateful that it did it’s job by saving my life. So, I Bought another FIT. The driver’s seat is uncomfortable on a long trip and it takes a few seconds to get in gear. That’s all I have for negatives.

2016 Hyundai Elantra GT review
For the price, I couldn't have made a better choice. This car has ventilated and heated seats, and all the bells and whistles available at that time. Had I purchased one of its competitors, I would have paid much more for what this car has. It has been a reliable vehicle as I have had all regular maintenance completed. I have only had to replace tires, battery, and take in for one or two recalls over the years. I'm passing it on to my graduate that's how safe I believe he will be.

2017 Ford C-Max Hybrid review
This is my first hybrid and is also my first Ford. In the past I've had many cars including an indestructible Honda Civic. This review will "compare" with the Civic because the Civic left the biggest impression on us for great reliability and cheap parts. The reason I gave the review 4 stars for reliability is because I had a minor coolant leak (a rusted hose clamp) and Ford charged me $250 to fix the hose clamp. I never had any problems with the Civic we used to have and if we did it was ultra cheap to fix it. Besides the minor problem the Ford C-Max has been great!!! I absolutely Love the high ceiling in the C-max. My head has plenty of room and I'm 6 feet tall. Much more room than the Civic. The Civic had 140hp and this Ford has 188hp, so its much faster than the civic! Also, The C-max costs me $35 in gas every TWO weeks!!! The last two cars I had I was spending $25-40 in gas in one week! So its faster, better gas mileage and more spacious and roomy than pretty much any car I've had lately. So far my experience with my first ford is very good. I like the style, the space inside and the comfort. I got the SE model instead of the Titanium so it doesn't have some bells and whistles. Overall I really enjoy the C-Max. I'm one of the very few people who thinks it looks cool. As for my future purchases... Ford is now on my radar!

2015 Chevrolet Sonic review
It's unfortunate the previous owners of the recent reviews had terrible ownership experiences . I have used this car for nearly four years without a single problem. Fun to drive, very spirited, great gas mileage, and outstanding handling at highway speeds. At 95,000 miles, no squeaks, wind noise, or rattles. its still very solid. Would highly recommend if you find a well cared for one. My only complaint is you would be hard pressed to fit four ave. size people at one time. But on the plus side it can fit in small spaces.

2013 Ford C-Max Energi review
Love the vehicle just wish because we decided to have a plug-in hybrid that we didn't have to give up so much trunk/cargo space. Right now also having a transmission issue but the vehicle does have over 200,000 miles on it and it is 12 years old. Still would buy it again.

2017 Subaru Impreza review
Front mid console is a bit awkward in placement, making it difficult to put two drinks in the designed locations. Its also awkward for the passenger to open the compartment because the fit is too close to the front seats. The lack of any dedicated sunglass compartment is frustrating. How about as part of the overhead info center?

2016 Hyundai Accent review
In late 2015 I ordered and bought a 2016 Hyundai accent. I was looking for a car under $20,000 CAD that would suit my purposes and that would be safe enough for my teenaged kids to learn and drive. The dealer experience was not what I would call a positive one. As this is about the car I will not go into detail here. The look of the little 2016 accent hatchback is really a 8/10. Put on some cheap fun stripes and you’ll be getting second looks; 9/10 then. Other body styles for the Accent are well…meh. Now the car itself is cheap to buy, and built cheaply. There is no doubt about that. There is an awful lot of road noise, there is usually some body part rattle, the torque is laughable, but again—it is cheap. I call this a Meccano car. Why? Because replacing parts is as easy as a Meccano set. And you WILL need to learn how to do this. This car gets no respect in parking lots; it’s constantly being dinged and hit by other cars. It has low clearance; road debris doesn’t go under the car— it cracks up all the plastic bits. Oh yeah, and the four or so fibre skid plates? Two disappeared within the first six months. One ripped off in a puddle during a rainstorm. However, because there’s so much plastic, and parts are easily available due to the car’s ubiquity, it’s fairly cheap to fix. This car can be insanely efficient. If you’re hypermiling, you can achieve 5.2 L per 100 km. I drive aggressively and get 6.2 or so. In town aggressive, will get you 7.4. My battery lasted six years before replacement. No complaints there. I take care of my car. I do most regular services on time. It’s been parked outside in Canadian prairie weather it’s entire life. It starts at -35C without the block heater plugged in. It’s insanely reliable and is just now displaying the first signs of rust from our heavily salted winter roads. Speaking of which– this thing is so light that you absolutely NEED winter tires up here, even if it is a front wheel drive or isn’t the law. While I would probably never buy a car like this used with 100000 km or more, I have been pretty happy with this thing. I like it better than my past Fords, Nissan, my four Chryslers, and even my Audi (based on price vs reliability). It was a good buy. I knew I was getting a cheap, disposable car. 2015 Ford Focus review
Really good car. Bought my focus 2 years ago, and it was amazing deal. Was by the far best deal on the lot. There was a Corolla on the lot, which was way older, had a higher mileage, and was $500 more. I said no way, stick it Toyota. I’m going American, and I am so glad I made that choice. My focus didn’t disappoint me at all, with a well designed well thought out interior design, and sporty exterior styling. Very comfortable and quiet ride. And impressive gas mileage. 37 MPG on the highway, and around town about 33. Awesome gas mileage, and it only costs me $50 a week for a full tank. Been pretty reliable, did have a few little transmission hiccups. But took it in and were soon fixed under warranty. Other than that, no other reliability problems to report in two years of ownership. Definitely recommend this car.

2016 Ford Fiesta review
I bought my 2016 SE from Bloomfield and for a small compact car the quality is equal if not better than a Honda Fit. The car has climate control, heated seats, rides nice and handles great compared to luxury sports cars I've owned yet 1/4 the price. I love it and feel it's made well. Motor has timing belt and wish they used the Duratec motor in here but it seems strong. My dual clutch transmission is great, it is not an automatic with valve body,they shift like bmw m6 and other sports car and it works absolutely normal.

2010 Toyota Prius review
No car issues compared to previous cars I’ve had. Traveled from NJ to NYC for at least 9 months using this car. Only issue was getting new tires of how much I was traveling. 155k odo running like it’s brand new. $20 a week on gas. Traveling at least 24 miles 5x a week. Reliable, gas saver and comfortable car.

2013 Hyundai Elantra GT review
Bought this new, never had any major issues mechanically. I take care to give it regular oil changes with synthetic. The nav has gotten laggy so I don't bother with it anymore and stick with my phone. I've also noticed the TPMS sensors seem more sensitive lately, so it annoyingly warns me about low tire pressure, even when it's not that bad yet. This blocks the screen telling me avg. mpg, so I have to fill it up I can't just ignore it for awhile. Other than that I still love driving it, it's quick enough for me and fun to drive around town. I was expecting to change cars much early especially with the warranty now over, but I'm going to stick with it for a few more years.

2015 Nissan Versa Note review
I bought my 2015 Nissan Versa Note in 2017 Certified Pre Owned with 35,000 miles on it. Now it has 80,000 trouble free miles on it. Aside from routine maintenance all I needed was sway bar links at 70,000 mi. Roomy, economical and comfortable. It may I interest everyone to know the transmission fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles. It's $240 to have it done by the dealer. Small price to pay for reliability.

2017 Chevrolet Spark review
This is a fuel efficient and modest car. It achieves 98hp has a 9 gallon tank and an automatic transmission. The LS has crank windows and old fashioned key-lock doors. You can haul a reasonable load in the back seat and hatch or even three other people, though it might be somewhat cramped. It appears to be designed for urban commuters, but I've driven it some decent distances and in all seasons now and it seems to up the challenge of all weather and (paved) terrains. The onboard technology (radio, backup camera, and internet connectivity--with Apple Play and Android Auto) is surprisingly good. Its small size makes it fit easily into small spaces. It was discontinued in 2022, so there should be parts for awhile and prices are coming down. If you need a second car, give this one some consideration.
