Amazing experience at Kia of Cape Coral. We had been to two other Kia dealerships before we found Mark Lima at Kia of Cape Coral.He was very fair and when I spoke with him over the phone and made an agreement on price, he was the first to actually honor the price exactly when we got to the dealership. Typically we were given an agreed price and then once we got to the other dealership, the price went up with tons of fees added. This did not happen with Mark at Kia of Cape Coral. He was so efficient and kind throughout the entire process. He made the car buying process a positive experience for us. I highly recommend him if you are in this area and in the market to buy a car. He will do his best to make sure you are treated well throughout the process. This was my daughter’s first new car and it took a little longer through the financing process but he stayed past his normal hours to make sure it was all completed before he left us. 2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid review
Was originally looking at a Rav4, but realizing there might be situations in which we would need 3 rows of seating we went with the Highlander. Since we've been using it we've used the 3rd row way more than we had anticipated so a good choice. Around town mileage is around 34 mpg so not bad at all. Wish was better.

2026 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid review
This is my 2nd new 2026 Tacoma Hybrid LIMITED. Why the limited? Full time 4WD with ability to bypass center differential and go full time 4WD high and low, like the non-limited versions. I found that the torque was too high in anything but the full time 4WD limited hybrid, and the rear wheels would slip. If not full time 4WD, can't put into 4WD proactively seeing a dangerous situation ahead and making a turn until you are in the bad stuff, which is normally too late. In my humble opinion, if you don't have this specific variant of the Tacoma, it isn't worth it. The solid full time 4WD is worth it in all driving conditions from dry, to wet, to snow. No rear wheel slip pulling out of a slight incline on dry pavement. Even with weight in back, the non-full time 4WD models slip. That said, there are things about this that are annoying. The handoff from electric to gas can be jolting or grate on your nerves like hearing a bad song over and over again. However, the MPG gain, is music to my ears, instead of 16 or maybe 17mpg, I'm usually at 24mpg on a mixed run of city, suburbs, and highway. This is not like other hybrid models, in operation or smoothness. You will sometimes find when cold it is a bit clunky or unpredictable with shifts and stuff. And sometimes, braking can be unpredictable as to how much pressure is needed. I haven't figured out why, but think it has something to do with the hybrid as a non-hybrid 2025 trd off road I had, didn't have that issue. Now, the other annoying thing, and happened on both of the 2026 limited hybrids I bought. The drivers seat, the seatback, will recline all the way to touch the rear seat bottom cushion. Seems to be when you walk out of range with remote and car is running. Why? Don't know but will look into it when it goes in for its first service. The good stuff is many, and one of those is the A/C. It's a hybrid A/C system so it's not dependent on the gas engine running to put out super cold A/C. That is a must for me. And while there are no back seat vents for A/C, it cools the whole thing off well and quickly. The ventilated seats are also amazing. The large radio screen, the big dials to turn up/down the temp, and radio, these are awesome. Being able to see all around the truck, well that is so nice, no chance you won't see something. I know I use the auto on feature, so when starting out, or below 10mph, the cameras come on automatically. The remote features are also amazing. A digital key in your phone, a credit card sized physical key for your wallet, and the app will all let you get in and start and drive your truck. So if you forget your key, you can move on without it. You can set your HVAC settings from the app on remote start. You can check status of tire pressure, doors open/closed, windows open/closed, etc. via the app. Priceless. Overall, it's a great truck for me, an older guy who needs the legroom nothing else really can provide except a competitive mid-sized truck, but can't get as a hybrid and full time 4WD. Besides all of that, Toyotas do hold their value. When I traded in my Tacoma TRD off road that was about 3 months old, I didn't lose any money on it. They are in demand. And so are these models. The electric tailgate is awesome and would not want to do without anymore. Parking assist sensors are very helpful. And if people tell you the front spoiler underneath the truck looks stupid, I'll tell you that after a couple of days you never even see it let alone worry about it. If it helps mpg's, it stays on. The lights are all LED's in and out. The LED cargo lights and trailer light are very useful. Same with the puddle lamps and door marker lights for when a door is open to prevent others from seeing it Is open.

2026 Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid review
I have had the car one month so far, RAV4 plug n see They say I can go 50 miles on electric charge, I am getting 55 to 58 depending on my driving style with running the a/c. So far I have not used a drop of gas. I am charging at night from 10pm to 7 am using 110 standard plug. The lowest I have taken battery down is 28%. Our local electric company has great rates from 12 to 6 am, I have figured my charging cost at about .64 cents per night for a full charge. The car is very quiet and smooth, with the horse power at 300 plus it is very quick. Looks great and runs like you want.

2026 Hyundai SANTA FE HEV review
Bought this new hybrid car a few weeks ago and going on first long distance drive, 2k miles, soon. So far we love this car. The looks and performance have been what we hoped for. I came to Honda of Fort Myers to look at a vehicle and was kindly introduce to Travis. He truly was a wonderful salesman to work with. He took his time and povided great knowledge and support without putting pressure to buy. He made sure to walk me through the process best as possible. That being said. Other team members were not so great with the financial negotiation. At one point she literally almost talked me out of getting the vehicle. I felt like it was being interogated for my choice in getting the vehicle. I truly wanted to walk away but to Travis's credit and his great approach at handling customer service i decided to push through it. 2026 Honda Accord Hybrid review

2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid review
I has never envisioned myself buying a Hyundai until I looked at them. I quickly fell in love with the looks of the Santa Fe and Palisade. I chose the Palisade because it was bigger and I chose the Hybrid because of the wonderful reviews I read about it. So far the car droves like a dream. I think it is a car that looks as good as similar mid size SUV's at a much higher price. And I know the reviews for reliability and performance are often better than the more expensive competitors. My only complaint might be all the high tech stuff I have to learn about it. But I think that is pretty much the same with all new cars these days. Bonus is my Palisade has a wonderful Bose system that sounds fabulous. Hyundai has won this GM abd Chrysler girl over!

Amazing experience at Kia of Cape Coral. We had been to two other Kia dealerships before we found Mark Lima at Kia of Cape Coral.He was very fair and when I spoke with him over the phone and made an agreement on price, he was the first to actually honor the price exactly when we got to the dealership. Typically we were given an agreed price and then once we got to the other dealership, the price went up with tons of fees added. This did not happen with Mark at Kia of Cape Coral. He was so efficient and kind throughout the entire process. He made the car buying process a positive experience for us. I highly recommend him if you are in this area and in the market to buy a car. He will do his best to make sure you are treated well throughout the process. This was my daughter’s first new car and it took a little longer through the financing process but he stayed past his normal hours to make sure it was all completed before he left us. 2026 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid review
I have owned two Mazdas in the past so I thought I would look at a third. I wanted a hybrid this time, so knowing that Mazda hasn't really gotten into the hybrid game I was skeptical with the CX50 hybrid. I did alot of online, and magazine article research on this vehicle as well as others. There are a number of options out there, but what sold me on the CX50 is that 1) The other Mazdas I have owned were extremely reliable, 2} The CX50 has the same fourth (I believe it's the fourth) generation Toyota 2.5 liter hybrid engine and e-cvt transmission that was used in the RAV 4 which is highly rated and 3) Mazda just knows how to make a extremely engaging fun to drive vehicle than most. As most vehicles go, this one isn't perfect. I have noticed the road noise is worse than the CX5 I used to have. It's not terrible by any means, just more noticable. I know there are tires out there that are quieter but that's not something I'm willing to do until it's time to replace them. The other thing is I hate the cupholders being in the front, in front of the gear shift. The only other thing (and I've heard people say if you have been a Mazda owner it's annoying to what you're used to, if you've been a Toyota owner it sound normal) and that is the engine drone sound at higher needed speed like entering a highway or passing someone. All of these are things I can live with and I have absolutely have no regrets with this purchase. Bottom line, if you want the interior and exterior quality and engaging driving experience that Mazda gives you and an extremely proven reliable hybrid engine that Toyota gives you...you have the perfect marriage.

2023 Lexus RX 350h review
It is unique to have those three characteristics in one vehicle. Reliability: I had 11 years RX350 with zero problems. Just regular maintenance. This was a reason I purchased a new one. Luxury: It is very quiet and comfortable ride, perfect ergonomic seats and suspension, really luxury filling. Spacious front and rear seats, adequate cargo volume and driving assist features. 4-cylinder engine is maybe loud above 2000 rpm, but normal drive do not reach this number. Fuel Efficiency: Car computer was showing 45 MPG for city driving, but brochure shows 37MPG. i decided to check this discrepancy in reality by counting mileages and fuel gallons on gas station. Results were 46.02MPG! I checked milage accuracy comparing to navsat and gallons with weight method. Both measurements were accurate. I even reached 50MPG with city drive, slow acceleration, long braking distances and gliding ride! Conclusion: I lost refinement of V6 but increase fuel efficiency for 100% and earned many features that absolutely make sense to get this car. It is not for someone who ask for sporty style driving, but has sufficient power to easy overtake any vehicle on highway.

2024 Lexus RX 350h review
Just about 19K miles on the car now. Early on battery ended replacing. There was a slow tire leak that we did not know about when we purchased it. They did not cover this and it cost me for a new replacement. Don't recommend the running board as they are useless at that height. Mileage about 34mpg in ECO mode. Safety features very good. Camera system good. Don't use the auto park ability. Too spooky for us at our age. This is the first Toyota/Lexus automobile we have owned and we highly recommend it. I will keep this car until Lexus comes out with an auto drive like the Tesla. Fremont Lexus is quite attentive. Salesman Connor is excellent.
