Came in expecting to not get approved.

When I go into car dealerships, I do not get my hopes up at all. I look at vehicles only to be told that even though their commercials say they can get anyone approved, I am the less than 1% who does not get approved. Something had happened to my car unexpectedly, he engine had blew (according to Orr), so I had to find another vehicle quick. I have a family of 5 with me, my husband, and our 3 children, so a car was not even an option. From the moment that I put my pre-approval application in the night before, to the day that I walked into Rath, Owen really took care of me. He got all of my information quickly, was awesome to speak to, and he reassured me that he would get me into a car that we liked. Now, I have been to many dealerships before, so I have heard the same speech before, and had even prepared my own, "no, this is not what I want, we'll just go somewhere else," speech. However, this trip was different, I may not have gotten exactly what I wanted(mainly due to finances), but I definitely got what I needed which was an SUV over 2010 with enough space for my family. Owen was a great car salesman, and the miracle worker, Rob in finance, really helped put the icing on the cake. Owen had broke it down about what the monthly payment could cost, and as it was put to us, "the bank is like the judge, and Rob was our attorney arguing our case" and he talked my payments down from around $350ish to $274, and with my credit, that was a miracle in itself. I had an awesome experience with all of the staff, even got to meet Larry Rath (the voice on the radio) and I just have to say that they are truly a dealer for the people!
