2023 Hyundai SANTA FE review
I have owned or leased about 12 new Hyundais and about 40 new cars in my lifetime. As I am getting on in years and don’t drive that much I think this will be the last car I will own. That said, I am more satisfied with this car than I have ever owned. The only thing that I am not happy with is the push button transmission. I much prefer the conventional shift lever. If something should happen to this car, I would replace it with another exactly like this one. A niggling point is the placement of the charging pad. It is easy to lose something down there but can be retrieved with a shop vac. No big deal.

2024 Hyundai KONA review
Great car, very roomy over my 2020 Kona. I bought an N Line and love the sporty look. Lots of features are standard including a Bose audio system. The ride is much better than my previous Kona too. Definitely would recommend this car.

2025 Hyundai IONIQ 6 review
My Ioniq 6 is the base SE model with front wheel drive only. This model has all the bells and whistles you need and the more expensive models have a number of cosmetic additions. Stylishly this car is a major improvement over earlier Hyundai models. There is some disagreement over the rear spoiler. Personally, I like the light show in the spoiler although I seldom see it since I'm driving. The seams on the car are a good tight fit with the possible exception of the front hood. The front trunk, or "funk," is useless which is a little hard to explain. If you look under it you notice a fairly empty space with a lot of wires. Reports are that the back trunk is small but I think the problem is its height and not depth. This is a slightly larger car than the Prius. The back seat has an impressive amount of room and if you lay down those seats you have quite a lot of trunk space but no back seat passengers. Performance is very good. In fact, the acceleration is astounding laying to rest the myth that EVs take a lot of time to accelerate. The electric motor apparently provides the same amount of torque at any speed unlike a gas engine. The amount of regenerative breaking is adjustable from the paddles on the steering wheel. I keep it at the highest setting and the car will break slightly when you take your foot off the accelerator. This takes some getting used to if you use this setting. Also, the car will keep moving slowly so you eventually have to break. At times the wheel seems to have a mind of its own. On a bumpy road with many turns the wheel seems to want to go where I don't. This brings me to an interesting feature. On cruise control with the lane keep assist and that line showing between the lanes on the monitor (see owners manual) the car us essentially self-driving as long as it can read the lane lines, You can take your hands off the steering wheel but if you do the car will reprimand you tell you to hold the wheel. The steering wheel is large and blocks the information on the lower part of the monitor. The blind spot monitor is very good and it will warn you on the exterior mirrors and the monitor in front of you. If a collision is possible the wheel will vibrate. The radar seems more sensitive than my other car so you get warning even when you still have plenty of room. The GPS has a lot of information, but I found it off by miles on certain sites. This car is very quiet. Much quieter than my plug-in hybrid. There is a slight whirring noise on acceleration and deceleration. When I drive near a pedestrian they seem surprised that a car is near them so be careful. I charged the car on a level 2 charger from 10% to 100% in 7 hours which I consider to be very good. The range is about 280 miles depending on temperature and type of driving. The car will notify you when the charge is down to 20% and it will tell you where the charge stations are. I would like to have a rear window wiper but this seems to have been eliminated on most cars. The rear defrost has done a good job of clearing this window so far. Visibility all around is very good. I would like it if the radio and past trip presets had a larger number visible. My other car goes up to 100. I'm not technically savvy and it will take me time to learn how to use all the features on this car. The owner's manual is large. One thing which may or may not be an issue is that I had difficulty turning the car off once. It appears that if you leave your foot on the break when turning it off the car may be getting a mixed signal to start and stop. Placing it in park first and taking your foot off the break seems to solve this. Finally, I notice in reviews on this site that the major negative response is that people think this car is expensive for what you get. I would expect to pay in the high $40,000 for an EV loaded with these features. I paid less than $10,000 under that.

Love my truck so much! It has plenty of leg room for my long legs! It drives smooth on long road trips! The back has been useful for moving large objects better than a SUV. It gives me both worlds truck and SUV feel. I highly recommend if you want a truck but the big ones are too much to handle!

2023 Hyundai SANTA CRUZ review
Good pick up truck over all but I would have some changes. 1st - Exterior. Front grill has too big opening spaces. It has potentially hazard to damage radiator with flying stones or debris get into it. Hyundai need to figure it out how to place electric plug for towing in the are next to license plate. I had to install under rear bumper and if i would have to put my boat in the water all the time, electric plug would submerge under the water and it would have it short it and potentially get on fire. 2- Interior. I believe sunroof 95% of the owners are not using it, instead i would like to have automatic window in the rear windshield instead of sunroof. Rear seats could be a inch shorter and it would gave a little more leg room to get in 3rd - Power train. I have SEL Premium trim with 2.5 Turbo engine AWD with 5K towing capacity. Excellent power train but would be nice to have hybrid or fully electric with same capacity.

Great car and efficient. Really helps with the global warming problem because of good gas mileage. Full EVs still don't have good mileage ranges. This care doubles my mileage.

2023 Hyundai SANTA CRUZ review
I really love my new truck...feel price was pretty much on the mark, the features are great, I have had it a month & still getting used to all its offeres. Back seat is a little tight, but I can fit and I don't really carry passengers, I did get an 'after market' bed cover for it ( which I feel I paid to much for the less than 100% quality) Over all I like the truck. (* I traded a 2021 jeep compass , which I thought 'per KBB' was worth more than the dealer allowed me) *

2026 Hyundai SANTA FE review
Fifth Hyundai vehicle. I have never had a bad experience with any of the cars., same for the dealers and service. The cars have always been reliable, loaded with great technology, and provided great comfort to drive. The 2026 Santa Fe clearly offers a lot of car for the price. It has also been a step up from previous models. Really enjoy the addition of the turbo engine. The only downside to all of this is Hyundai eliminated the included 36000 miles service the only disappointing part of a great driving experience,

I am 77 years old and a Vietnam Era Veteran, I had a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck that I used in my business until I retired and still drove it after that until it got to a point where it just wasn't feasible to repair it anymore so I scrapped it, since I am retired I don't really drive that much anymore and I used Lyft services and my wife's car to occasionally get here and there. But my wife works part time and needs the car about 4 days a week. Then I decided I wanted to get myself another vehicle, not necessarily a new one but a recent late model, but then the ordeal of deciding what I wanted to get started. Did I want a small car a big car a truck, and SUV and if an SUV which one? Since I am a veteran I use the VA Health Care Center in Providence and I am provided Lyft services to and from the hospital for checkups and what have you. During my car search time I happened to have an appointment at the VA and when I called Lyft services to schedule a ride they sent over a beautiful Honda Pilot which I rode in and was very impressed with, and as luck would have it, when I was through with my appointment and called for another ride, Lyft sent ANOTHER Honda Pilot to take me home and I was very impressed with that vehicle as well. I searched for Honda Pilot vehicles online and came across a beautiful looking 2020 EX model, it was burgundy, loaded with a lot of features, had very low mileage, and was very reasonably priced. It was for sale at Grieco Honda on Hartford avenue in Johnston. As a lot of people , are I was a little hesitant about going into a car dealership having heard stories about various bad experiences some people have had with some. When I went into Grieco Honda I was introduced to a young man named Chris Matarese who was a very pleasant individual. He brought the vehicle around for us to go for a test drive, was extremely polite, very intelligent and exceptionally knowledgeable about the vehicle, answering all of my questions in an instant. After a brief time of asking my "20 questions" about the vehicle and financing I decided to buy the 2020 Honda Pilot. Since the vehicle had just been taken in trade it had not been inspected by the service department as yet, and Chris had the vehicle taken in immediately to have it inspected, the service manager noted that the driver side sun visor was not functioning properly and hung a little bit low having apparently been sprung over time, and it was decided that Grieco would put a new visor in for me which I thought was a very nice gesture. So to end this story, I've had the vehicle now for a little over 2 months and I cannot be happier with it and also with the excellent and outstanding service and courtesy which was extended to me by Chris Matarese, you will find him exceptionally honest, devoutly professional, and eager to earn your business. The services provided by Grieco Honda including sales, financing, and the service department were all excellent in quality, if you're looking for a vehicle go to Grieco Honda on Hartford Avenue in Johnston and ask for Chris you will not be disappointed I can assure you. 2023 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
Luckily, I stumbled across a $7500 instant rebate along with a $5000 above trade-in value for my car. I purchased the SEL trim with leather, adaptive cruise, lane assist, power driver seat, etc. No sun roof, which I did not want. 19" tires for a little better mileage. I am absolutely impressed with this car and feel very safe on winter roads (AWD), especially in winter mode. I find no fault other than it lacks a rear windshield wiper, Which I would prefer to have. Extremely quiet and comfortable ride.

2021 Hyundai VENUE review
I love it. When I purchased this vehicle I had alot of people looking trying to figure out what it was. When it came out it was definitely different being a whole new line of COMPACT SUVS. I even put in in a car show, by accident by parking on the outskirts and more cars that were show cars parked around me. I was looking for a vehicle with small tires and great gas mileage as I commute. I have 3 children and I find there's enough room to pack the few things we need and room for groceries. I have room for skates and small sleds in the trunk which I was happy for. Over all is great and cute and I love the safety features since I work nights I especially like the lane keep. The built in command start is amazing for canadian winters. The standard heated seats and steering are also a great choice that comes in the preffered model. This makes me feel like a queen. Also when I got this car I never knew my car was trying to tell me so much. It beeps alot and can take some getting used to. The only down side I find I cannot leave my car run and lock the doors. It will not allow you to do that. So expect to run command start a few times.

2023 Hyundai SANTA FE review
This is my 3rd Santa Fe in 10 years.Great car for the price. Body integrity not so great as chips in paint appear. Same issue with other 2. Biggest complaint is heat system. Don’t expect to put in auto at start. Will never warm cab. Must manually get cab warm then you may be able to use auto. Auto directs heat to extreme downward location.

2023 Hyundai SANTA FE review
Cannot reach under the console, Blindspot on the passenger side and seats are not very comfortable. Otherwise, the car is a very nice car and has decent pick up power for just the four-cylinder.

2023 Hyundai KONA review
The Kona is a nice car, has plenty of power for the 2.0L engine, as long its in sport mode. Gas economy is ok at around 28mpg. Sun roof is great. All the auto features are nice, but I wish that the "Turn the motor Off" at a stop was off by default. I don't like the jerk feel it does when it turns itself back on after you release the brake, I tend to manually turn that feature off, if I remember to press the manual override button. Plenty of room for normal size people. if your pushing 6 foot I wouldn't recommend this vehicle, as it would be hard to duck to get in and out of the front seats. I do like the warranty BUT Hyundai hides a few things from you, like the computers are NOT covered by their 5 year, 60k or 10 year 100k warranty only 3 year 36k. I would suggest an extended warranty to cover the 35 computers alone in this vehicle. Also These new cars are all drive by wire. meaning NO cables anymore to throttle, brakes, etc.It is all done by a computer and sensors, keep that in mind. GPS computer is pretty good, map works good. I still like that Hyundai still offers a USB for flash drives with MP3 music, Not everyone wants to use your stupid phone to play music.

2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport review
Bought my 2017 Santa Fe Sport in 2018 with about 60K on it, it was a rental, and it now has 260K and have had no major issues. I have maintained it very well with a full synthetic oil change, Mobil 1 oil only, about every 6000 - 7000 miles. I will never go 10,000 miles without an oil change regardless of the 20,000 mile guarantee that Mobil 1 offers. Nothing but normal maintenance, tires, battery, serpentine belt etc. I realize that all of them are that reliable but I have had very good fortune with this one. And do not be afraid to buy a rental, they usually maintain them very well.
