Even though I had an appointment and was running behind my service provider arielle accommodated my recommendations/needs for my vehicle. Also, I did not have to wait so long for my service to be completed. I loved that they provide complimentary shuttle service. The shuttle driver Isreal was very kind and respectful.
My service advisor did an excellent job of informing me what the techs found on my vehicle. He helped me determine how to best care for my vehicle and he arranged a rental for me while my vehicle was there for service.He also kept me informed during the service, and was very helpful.
Gregory Michael was a good, solid, well knowledged Service Representative. I had had a poor experience with JEEP in Gilroy so I tried this JEEP Service Center in Santa Cruz. Boy, what a difference! Since we live about 3 hours away, we called and made arrangements to come in during the week. Andy was there to greet us when we arrived, the car was ready and he told us to take it out and drive around town. We loved the car and when we got back to the dealership, negotiated a satisfactory price.
We went to lunch and when we returned, the car was ready to go and the paperwork took less than 30 minutes to complete. There was absolutely no pressure and was one of the best auto purchasing experiences we have ever had.
After arriving home and after a week of ownership, we noticed a few minor issues. We contacted Andy, and he and Mark were great about fixing the problems without any hassle.
They have a large inventory of very clean cars and we would not hesitate in buying another car from them.
I worked with Jeff Filiault from Subaru of Santa Cruz to finance a used Crosstrek Hybrid, which is the first car I have ever owned. I had already done my research, test driven the vehicle several times, and had two cars of the same model bought out from under me. So when I went to Jeff, he did not have to press hard to sell me.
In fact, he never really pressed at all. The guy was outstanding! I was trying to juggle financing with a remote cosigner, as well as buying from a distant city and only being able to manage weekend visits. Jeff helped me every step of the way. He held the vehicle for a whole week after I gave a soft commitment, and facilitated sending the paperwork to my cosigner several states away overnight (and near the holidays). After the purchase was squared away, he even drove over 40 minutes to pick me up from where I live and bring me to the dealership, all after business hours.
I really felt like Jeff and Subaru of Santa Cruz had my back throughout the whole process, and I would definitely buy from them again.
Tip: Do not buy any extended warranty, especially when financing. I love this dealer, but this is where they make massive margins.
I brought my 2006 Baja in for the scheduled oil change and mentioned that a heat shield was vibrating and getting worse. Very annoying and from on line comments it sounded like a problem that was difficult or expensive to fix. The service manager said they would look to see if it could be improved. When I got the car back the noise was gone completely and I was not charged for the work. Excellent job.
Bought my first new car in 14 years from this place. Good experience with the sales process, it only took about 4 hours and we drove home in our new Acadia!
