Midway Chevrolet review
For years, I preferred taking matters into my own hands when it came to car shopping. I'd just sit alone in my room, browsing for hours on a solo mission, usually ending up frustrated and exhausted. She didn't leave me hanging; she helped me pull it off effortlessly and get exactly what I wanted. And the 2026 Chevy Tahoe? My god. I got it in a brilliant, dazzling white. It's so gorgeous I'm probably going to go blind just staring at it. I plan to spend entirely too much time alone in my driveway, just furiously waxing and buffing that pristine white body until my wrist aches. I simply cannot keep my hands to myself when I'm around it! The moment I slid inside, firmly gripped that thick, leather-wrapped wheel, and gave the climate control knob a solid crank, I was in heaven. The Salesperson Made an Amazing Car Buying Experience We went to CarMax in Independence to look for a mid-sized SUV with relatively low mileage at a reasonable price, and we found what we were looking for. A 2022 Chevy Equinox with less than 19,000 miles, in great condition and at a price and payment terms that are acceptable and affordable. I have bought a few cars in the past and I always went to “traditional” dealerships to purchase them. This was my first experience with CarMax and I can honestly say that I was blown away by the relaxing and laid back, yes I said relaxing and laid back, car buying experience! No sales pressure, no haggling over price, just a straight up purchase with no hidden or confusing terms or agreements. Everything was laid out on the table. Plain and simple. The salesperson, Austin Hubbard, was a pleasure to work with. We were facing a very difficult personal situation that could have easily made the car buying experience extremely challenging and stressful. Austin was kind, patient and understanding throughout the entire process. From the moment he greeted us at the front door until the moment we drove away, Austin was there to provide help, guidance and even some words of encouragement. He more than once told us, “I have your back”, and his actions backed that up.
