Ourisman Honda of FrederickReviews
Ourisman Honda of Frederick review
I've had two excellent experiences with Shockley Honda when buying a car from them. The first was a little over a year ago and the second experience was last week. I found an excellent 2018 CR-V at a very reasonable price, but had a disabled trade-in over 65 miles away. Shockley not only gave me a fair amount for the trade-in, but also arranged to both deliver my "new" vehicle and pick up the "old" vehicle, saving me quite the effort to arrange things otherwise. My sales guy was Chris Collinson and handled everything from start to finish. There was no high-pressure sales or hidden add-ons. There was no pressure to use their financing when I told them I had my own. I appreciate the respectful way I was treated. It really seemed like I was his only customer that day when I knew I wasn't. Plus, it didn't stop there! Chris made the delivery from Frederick to Parkville himself and has followed up with me to make sure all is well and that I am happy with the car and his service. I highly recommend Shockley to anyone in the car market. You won't be disappointed! Be sure to ask for Chris!

Easterns Automotive Group of Laurel review
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Experience at Easterns Automotive (Laurel) – A Shoutout to Mr. Lorenzo Joseph! From the moment I walked into the Easterns Automotive Laurel location, I knew I was in good hands. The dealership itself was clean, organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere—but what truly made my experience exceptional was the customer service provided by Mr. Lorenzo Joseph. Mr. Joseph went above and beyond to ensure my car-buying experience was seamless and stress-free. From the initial greeting to handing me the keys, he was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me find the right vehicle. He took the time to understand my needs and budget, provided expert recommendations without any pressure, and answered every question I had with honesty and professionalism. What really stood out was his attention to detail and the way he treated me like more than just another customer. His calm demeanor, transparency throughout the process, and commitment to making sure I left happy made all the difference. In an industry where great customer service can be hit or miss, Mr. Joseph is a true standout. If you’re looking for a new or used vehicle and want a team that values integrity and top-tier service, I highly recommend Easterns Automotive in Laurel—and be sure to ask for Mr. Lorenzo Joseph. Everyone at Herson’s Kia. Was fantastic…best car buying experience ever. Everyone from our salesperson Raffael to our sales manager to our financial manager were very knowledgeable and kind. We always felt as though they had our best interests at heart!
2025 Kia Niro EV review
This car replaced a 2010 Hyundai that was beginning to give me trouble. I decided to lease it - my first 100% EV - and installed a charger in my garage. So far I am totally delighted with the car - its finish, its drivability, and its performance. It is nimble and when I step hard on the accelerator (what we used to call the "gas pedal") it leaps forward like a startled bunny. To be sure there are lots of differences from the traditional gas-powered cars I have driven all of my life. It is really quiet, which sometimes is a little deceiving because it is actually working. The quiet and the different feedback signals that provides to the driver will take some time to get used to. Also, there are so many options -- many of them hidden several clicks from the top of the home screen -- that are still a mystery to me. (As usual, the owner's manual is almost impossible to use -- I have relied on asking ChatGPT for guidance). "What is that button for?" "How do I make it so the radio doesn't turn on every time I get in the car?" "Where is cruise control?" "How do I turn off the seat heaters?" -- the list is endless and I'm counting on slowly learning how all of it works. Overall, after a month of driving the car I couldn't be happier. It will be an "in town" vehicle -- the range isn't suitable for much inter-city driving -- but I love how smooth and competent the car feels. The finishes inside and out are great; seats comfortable and insanely easy to adjust; sight lines fine. It's a great introduction to the work of EVs.

Performs flawlessly but charging technology is badly designed and takes too long. If Kia had their own chargers like Tesla, that would be better. But they don't.

2023 Kia Niro EV review
I own a 2023 Niro EV Wave trim in Snow White Pearl with a Grey aeroblade and light grey interior. The first thing to comment is that this car is beautiful. It is sleek, aerodynamic, with exciting touches. But it is also a bit unassuming. This is not a car that will blow away people on the street. But it is still an undoubtedly striking vehicle, with just enough personality to stand out, and just enough sensibility to blend in. The interior is strikingly simple but loaded with features. The screens seamlessly integrate into the dash, instead of protruding out as if they were just glued in place. The buttons stay flush with the panels, and the center console area is spacious, with cupholders that can easily be closed or opened, which makes fitting a 32oz bottle in this area simple. This is a minor detail, but in most cars, my water bottle will sit awkwardly on top of the cupholders, or find itself laying on the floor of the passenger seat. Having it safely stowed beside me is a nice touch. Interior features are loaded. The heated/ventilated seats are very quick to provide the comfort you need, as is the heated steering wheel. The buttons on the steering wheel allow for all the controls you need while driving at your fingertips, such as calling up voice assistants, answering calls, adjusting volume, skipping songs, and controlling the driver assistance features. The controls for climate and stereo on the dash rely on the same screen, using a simple button to swap between them. This may be confusing at first, but it is an elegant way to simplify the design of the dashboard, minimizing the total amount of knobs and buttons. The wireless charge point works great, and I love the warnings that a device is on the charger when the vehicle is switched off. Same with the warning to check for items in the back seat. When you put this car in drive, you will not be pinned to your seat, especially in Eco mode. But you will feel like you are controlling a vehicle that is stable and sure footed, with excellent traction, and plenty of acceleration to reach highway speeds long before the end of the on ramp. If you do need a bit more pep, altering the drive mode to Normal or Sport created an immediately noticeable difference in power output, but in most day-to-day driving, Eco will be sufficient. Once you get up to speed on the highway, the adaptive cruise control system will pretty much do everything for you. Set your speed, and set your preferred following distance, and the Niro will maintain your speed with ease, and even slow the vehicle all the way to a stop without ever needing to put your foot on the brake. Press the steering wheel icon, and you will engage lane centering, which will help keep the Niro centered in your lane. Just keep your hand on the wheel, but Niro will handle the driving. THIS IS NOT SELF-DRIVING. I must make that clear, because when there is a crack in the road that has been sealed and is cutting diagonally across your lane, the vehicle can mistake this as the lane line and will steer the vehicle along this diagonal. By holding the steering wheel firm, this is easily overridden, but it is critical that the driver recognize that this system is not perfect. It is, however, very useful for long drives, such as my typical 30-min highway commute. Another wonderful feature is the Heads-Up Display, which shows your speed, and critical information about your drive, including which systems are active and during cruise control, the HUD will go beyond showing blind spot indicators, showing white boxes that represent the vehicles around you as they pass by, so you can see exactly where the nearby vehicle is. I highly recommend this vehicle to anyone looking into an EV that doesn't want something too bold and expensive. This is the EV for people that just want something solid, reliable and exciting, while being practical and unassuming.

2024 Kia Niro EV review
so much going for it that it is sad that the dashboard panel was not thought out. The air conditioning and the media controls are inexplicably linked. Every time you want to turn the radio on, you will turn on the air conditioning. It is bonkers and it's not useful. If you want to install a phone holder you will not find a good place as all useful information is on a panel that would hold the phone. Who designed this? Fire them.

Koons Kia review
The best car buying experience I’ve had and we’ve purchased a lot of vehicles. The salesperson Andrea was wonderful, informative and helpful! The sales manager, Tyler Winchell was also great! He got us a great deal on our Kia Sorento. He was friendly and gave us a discount that helped me get into a great Kia!
2024 Kia Niro EV review
When using cruise control and limit how many car lengths between you and car in front of you, it does serious sudden slow down which could be dangwrous with someone right behind you. Otherwise great car, one of my best ever.

2023 Kia Niro EV review
We had a 2020 Niro EV. So we have had experience with Kia's product. Very nice job on all points for this next generation EV. As it's use is for commuting, we are more than satisfied with the style, controls and comfort for what we use it for. The interior is quite amazing in size compared to its overall dimensions. Our town has its own electric division so the rates are fairly low. Our commute is about 8 miles a day, and I usually charge it when it gets to 50 or so miles left in range. So we use about 200 miles of range, in a months time, and recharge is roughly 7 hours, overnight. The electrician that installed the level 2 charger, figured that at max draw on the charger the cost is $.70 per hour. So for 200 miles about $5. cost. Yes this as the last Niro, hardly puts a bump in the electric bill. So for this usage, it works very well for us. And again this 2nd generation Niro is very nice.

Easterns Nissan of White MarshReviews
Easterns Nissan of White Marsh review
Looking for your next vehicle online? This is the Way! So many things have changed in the past few years in the vehicle shopping process, but the team at Nissan of White Marsh is doing things right. I was shopping for my Frontier for over 5 months, and I was being patient to find the right vehicle at the right price. So many dealerships are quick to throw a number on a car-buying site; you can imagine what happens when you try to ask questions or confirm details- let alone talk price. Brice and the sales team at Nissan of White Marsh treated me with respect and patience even though I wasn't in the building. The transparency, integrity, and ease of communication with Jason in finance made an online and phone interaction feel like a 'hand shake deal'. They checked every box and answered every inquiry. In the end, the Value and Trust earned made it an easy decision to FLY FROM FLORIDA to do business here. If you are shopping online and want peace of mind with your major purchase- I hope that this review speaks to you. Nissan of White Marsh will treat you right and make the experience one to boast about. This is how it is supposed to be!
2024 Kia Niro EV review
Going electric is a fascinating experience, You drive by gas stations and realize, they are a thing of your past. This car get every good mileage. I have seen 300 miles after a charge. The drive is so quiet and the interior feels rather luxurious in some ways and quite baffling. in others. The complex electrical system has an air conditioner/radio switch that is completely annoying.Every time you turn the radio on, if you're not in the right place, the air conditioning goes on. This happens perpetually. The entire system requires two ro three reads of the manual—it is not intuitive. Another dislike is (it can be turned off) is the steering wheel switch that shudders anytime you make a lane change—there have been times when the sense of control is lost—not a good thing! The entire right side is given to some Las Vegas type light fixture that can change colors. It's a wasted space, though passengers comment and seem to love it. All in all, a good car, pricey compared to similar cars, but a timely choice.
