Expected the run-around..... but did not get it.

So as you can imagine and may have experienced yourself, dealing with car dealerships can be quite the pain in the rear. This had happened to me on a few occasions in the past (to be clear it was with other dealers). So when the time came to start looking for a vehicle, I dreaded it. Enter Josh Larimore. I have known Josh for a while, so I decided to give him a shot. I spent a couple days looking at their inventory online, as well as a few other places, and doing research on what type of vehicle I might want. I called and told him I was coming in to look at a couple of cars on a particular day and time. When I arrived he was waiting for me with a smile and a handshake and of course greeted me by name. Unfortunately my top pick had been sold, but my second, third, and fourth were available. After test drives I settled on a car. Now for the wheeling and dealing..... right? Not so much...... at least not with Josh. Josh was a straight shooter on the deal. Hey, honestly we could had big discussions about value, and why this and why that....... or, we could _not_ do that and just get straight to it, which is exactly what we did. Here is my vehicle, which books for X, and here is your vehicle which books for X. So lets do deal X/X and get the papers signed. Yes of course the manager had to try to step in and try to haggle a bit, which I understand is his job. But Josh and I had a deal and that was the deal that I got. After all, you have one excellent sales guy, and he did a great job with me..... so let him do it. That being said, it was not at all high pressure, and the deal Josh made with me was fair and reasonable. The manager honored it, and I got it. Even the part with the finance guy was pleasant. Of course it is his job to offer the extended warranties and such, which he did quite well by offering lots of options. But what was even better than that was that I felt no pressure at all, even when i declined those warranties. He said "no problem" and finished the paperwork. Now..... the best parts...... They were able to cut my previous interest rate in half, lower my monthly payment by $450 per month, and put my in the car I wanted all within a couple of hours. Great Job guys! You will certainly have first shot of my business in the future!
