2025 Kia Telluride review

My Hyundai Elantra is 15 years old and has nearly 200K miles on her -- definitely outside of her manufacturer warranty now. But, I still spend a little extra to take her to the dealership for all her maintenance. I think it pays off in the end. Case in point: I just had my brake pads replaced at Elk Grove Hyundai. A simple job, except one of my anti-theft lug nuts broke during the process. Edgar in the Service Department made sure to not only replace the nut (and the stud!) free of charge, but he also made sure to match the same style aftermarket lug nut as my others. Where some other shop might have thrown any lug nut on there and hoped I didn't notice, Elk Grove Hyundai did me right. It took a few extra hours, but I feel good knowing that these guys do the job 100%. Thanks Edgar!
2023 Kia EV6 review
I've owned my EV6 GT now 4 months as a daily driver and I've been very happy with it. Styling is subjective but I like it. It fits the EV vibe. Interior quality is very good with varying materials that feel nice and have no squeaks or rattles. Being an EV platform, there is a lot of room and storage for it's size. It has all the tech. you could want. Handling is good with endless grip but it can feel a bit unsettled over wavy or quite bumpy roads. I find the ride quite comfortable in the ECO/Normal setting at 50mph+ but only a bit bumpy at lower speeds due to the low profile tires. It gets very firm for a more "sporty feeling" in GT mode, and also greatly increases the accelerator pedal response. Almost too much. I think Sport mode is the best ride/accelerator calibration. Steering is sharp and accurate, with good response but (like most new cars) offers very little feedback/road communication. Then there's the power. The GT with it's dual motors is a torque conundrum. There is a mountain of immediate torque but the computers somehow don't let it overpower the rubber on the road. If you haven't felt the crazy abilities of a high powered AWD EV, it's hard to even put into words. It's like being strapped into a huge slingshot from a standstill. Quickly hit the GT button and every on-ramp becomes a rollercoaster.

2023 Kia Sorento Hybrid review
I've put 60k miles on my 2023 Sorento Hybrid and it's been solid. Only repair was a defective horn, covered under warranty. Maintenance has been very cheap, less than $1000 total (not including tires) for 60k miles! I average 33 mpg overall. I used this primarily for rideshare and got compliments on a daily basis on how nice the interior was. 10/10 recommend.

I bought my 2018 Kia forte Lx aurora black pearl 63k miles automatic transmission fully loaded. Absolutely gorgeous car inside and out! All xx Aside I absolutely love driving this car! It does everything I ask it to do and it's truly a joy to drive! I can't say enough about the features of the infotainment system and the beautiful interior! All of the safety systems make me feel amazing! I use a car cover on it when it's not being driven and I use the steering wheel club on the wheel when the car's not being driven. Game changing. Luxurious and affordable. Makes relying fully on an EV an easy and comfortable reality. This car goes head-to-head (and beyond) with any luxury sedan. With the regen mode (which you choose the level of with the paddle to the left of the wheel) it's easy to get above the standard range level. Has auto pilot, lane change guidance, and auto distance/speed adjustment which are really helpful for long or late-night drives. Find the EV6 groups on social media for helpful tips.

2023 Kia Forte review
Bought the vehicle new in October of 2023. Now it’s March of 2025. Have yet to have an issue🤞though have heard of common problems many have had. I’ve put roughly 20 k miles on the car in a year and a half (mostly interstate driving). Technology package is lovely and the vehicle has an overall stylish feel. It’s important to keep in mind, though, that you’re buying a 20k dollar vehicle from 2023. It’s plastics galore in there, so, though stylish, the material quality isn’t the best. If you’re someone who takes care of your things, you shouldn’t have an issue! Use the maintenance schedule found in the Owner’s manual and this vehicle should get you where you’re going for a reasonable amount of years. That being said, if you’re trying to decide between and LX[S] and GT (not including GT-Line), choose the GT. Though you’re paying a little extra, you get a standard transmission with real gears (the car has more power than you’d think too) rather than the CVT found in the LX[S] (and GT-line). CVT tech has greatly improved within recent years, but they’re still known to be problematic at times. All in all, this generation of Kia seems to be more reliable than most previous gens. Definitely a real deal competitor with the carolla/civic and worth the consideration!

2023 Kia Forte review
Bought a 2023 forte gt-line for my daughter. We have had the car for 13months and have driven about 12,000 miles. I honestly cannot believe the 1star reviews, nor should you. I was a loyal Honda fanboy for over 30 years before I bought this Kia. I bought a totally loaded Forte non turbo for a hair under 25k with a crazy good warranty. Why not? I figured. 13 months and 12k miles later it rides better, has more power and is quieter than the day we bought it! Zero issues with anything. No squeaks, rattles or interior flaws. Sadly no tire wear. I cannot wait to replace the Kuhmos it came with. It handles great and is fun to drive. My wife calls it “a peppy little thing”. And she drives a CX-5 turbo or my 5.7 liter ram. Over 40 mpg on highway and mid 30s driving around town. This is a fine car. Not a cheap version Hyundai. Much nicer IMHO than the Hyundai. For those knocking the resale… run the numbers and try to buy one as cheap as you say you sold yours for. The Harmon Kardon stereo sounds awesome! 2015 Kia Optima review
There's pro and cons with this car. I love the fact that this car is very good of mileages save so much fuel , I lived in San Antonio and we drove this car with full tank to Corpus Christi its about 2 hours and half, almost 145 miles away, then we came back still have half full of a tank. My deslike about the car is the front passenger set, its kinda very low and there's no other way of adjusting it. ( Blind spot)When changing lane specially to your rare left side ,you literally turning your head making sure there's no other vehicle. Other than that??The car is good to drive.

I spoke to at the beginning and she gave me the complete OTD price breakdown at the beginning which was the same when I arrived which was the same at the end. No hidden or surprise add ons or mark ups. They are all stand up individuals. Worked with 10-20 people in past few weeks at other deals, had bad experience with most of them. 2025 Kia K5 review
I only had the car 1 month but drove it to Florida (all around) and back and put on 3,500 miles. My car is a GT-Line, Wolf Grey with the Red interior, Bose speakers etc. The car is a real pleasure to drive. Very Quiet on the road, and my mileage exceeded the 37 mpg epa rating, and that’s while maintaining speeds of 80 mph with 2 people and fully loaded with luggage. Little if any wind noise. Note that at times I hit much higher speeds not knowing since it was so quiet & smooth. The engine RPM was mostly between 2 to 2.1 at 80mph. The power of the 2.5 liter is good, and slightly better than the 2019 Camry I had, which was a very good car as well. The Bose system sounded great, and all the alert sensors and some other sensors like keeping your car steering between the lines worked very well, but I preferred to turn that off most of the time. If you turn on your turning signals to changing lanes, and a car is present, not only does your side mirrors alert you, but you’ll get sound notices and the steering wheel will vibrate. Triple redundancy. The handling is very good, and secure, brakes are excellent and has a very good feel to them. A very important note is, I appreciate that the 2.5 engine has both Direct & Port Injectors on each cylinder. Port injectors will help cleaned the valves and clear any carbon build up. This is the same arrangement my Camry 2019 had which greatly reduces or eliminates carbon buildup in these Direct Inject Engines. The Nav system worked flawlessly and quickly. I also love you can remotely start your car with the key FOB (No additional charge) or with Kia Connect though Kia connect is only free the 1st 3 years. Also, happily, it doesn’t have the stop & start engine control which can cause more wear on your starter motor with little gain on MPG. The seats are very comfortable as I can attest driving 12 hours straight on my first stop. The car’s 8 spd auto shifted smoothly in all conditions. Plenty of room inside. Lot of storage in the console area for incidentals and drinks. I enjoyed the Panoramic roof. The negative was the Combine toggle Climate & Media control is a bit counter intuitive and sometimes causes more effort to control. Trunk space is good, as I had lots of luggage. The car feels solid & hopefully reliable down the line. The only other negative which is because I do my own oil changes etc, is this car takes a Cartridge oil filter (Not spin on) and takes 6.1 quarts of oil, (Not 5 qts) but I knew this well before I bought it but it’s location and design is good. So it’s not a real big deal, but this will cost a little more for oil changes. Recommended oil chg is 7,500 but I’ll be doing it every 5 to 6K for sure. BTW recommended oil is 0 -30W. Based on my limited time but very heavy usage I highly recommend this car, and I really enjoy driving it. Very sporty looking.

Forward collision is dangerous it slams on the brakes and have you spinning. Roof is too low. Speakers are not good. Exterior falls apart very cheaply made car. Great on gas great body design. Love the synthetic leather & the infotainment screen.

2023 Kia EV6 review
I bought a one year old GT line with 7000 miles on it for $37k. With no fed rebate available new or used its the only way the Kia is cost competitive with tesla and vw. I wanted the sunroof, heads up display and heat exchanger, so had to go w 4wd. Unfortunately the 4wd gt line also comes with 20" wheels with 255 width tires, this drops the efficiency much further than the heat pump helps it. The ride is also a bit firmer than in other 19" wheel equipped ev6 I've driven. Otherwise the car is great, actually listed by the EPA as a wagon, Kia wants to sell it as an suv, I love that it's a wagon. The only electric wagon you can buy in the US! (Porsche taycan cross turismo might qualify). The build quality is very good, feels as solid as my last Mercedes. Storage space is good but not as ultra efficient as tesla or lucid. Having standard controls for lights and wipers is a big plus. The software needs a little help as it is not in the same league as tesla when it comes to navigation and updates. The Meridian sound system is really bad. Meridian also provide systems for Jaguar and Range Rover and have some very well regarded and expensive home systems. I have no idea how this powerful 14 speaker system can sound so terrible but it does. It completely lacks smoothness and clarity, my 40 year old Proton clock radio is easier to listen to than this mess. I've gone online, tried every setting option available and have only managed modest improvements. Hopefully there is a software upgrade in the works that can help. The seats are comfortable, the range is decent and the charging can be fast. The full on performance in sport mode is a great party trick but eco mode is the way for daily driving. Buy a used one to avoid the immediate $20k depreciation and you have a great car that go head to head with anything out there.
