2018 Maserati Ghibli review
Such a beautiful car inside and out. Fully loaded with all the trimmings, it is a pleasure to have. It is different than other vehicles we have owned from the various German manufacturers and we couldn’t be happier. In my opinion it handles better than the other brands in its class. 2015 Maserati Ghibli review
It will flat out go. So much fun to drive. Obviously insurance costs are not great but the car is amazing. Sound system is a disappointment though.

When needing a reliable, cost effective and trustworthy car I found a BMW with low mileage available at the CarPoint Auto Group through the Internet. I asked, who are these people nearly an hour’s drive from my home but the car looked really fit for purpose. When I drove to this small and out of the place location in South River (I live near Chester, NJ) I was really excited to see their stock of class cars both old, and new in outstanding conditions. This excited me as well as viewing the lower cost BMW fit for my purpose. Then I met Victoria Mora the sales consultant whom had kindly contacted me from the Internet interactions re the BMW. She had been both friendly and helpful in her phone call and mirrored that when we met and she was delightful. Explained about the history of the car, its benefits for my needs and allowed me to test drive kindly handling my own car that was parked in a less than convenient spot - kind of her. When we returned, Victoria neither pushed not pressured any sale but listened to my questions and gave honest and prompt responses such that I felt through her I already knew the car and had been driving it for years. She was instrumental in my quickly wanting to purchase the car. But I could not collect immediately so she accommodated my distant needs without hesitation despite it being a small inconvenience to her and the owner; they were so accommodating. When I drove to collect, being short of time due to poor traffic conditions, Victoria was swift, efficient, friendly and outgoingly helpful that we completed the sale/purchase formalities swiftly and without a hitch and I was able to drive off in the BMW to meet my previous appointments made possible only because of her professionalism, customer dedication and kindness. Now I know about this small, out of the way jewel and when I move from this fit for purpose BMW I will most certainly visit them again and aim to upgrade to a more sophisticated model that better suits my dreams. This car has plenty of leg room in the front and back. Looks sharp and has exceptional performance. The road handling is awesome. Not sure about the cost of maintenance yet.

2008 Maserati Quattroporte review
Hey! Why not a long-term review? I'm the guy above who wrote a review back in 2015 after a week of ownership. That's just a teaser, as it turns out. I've now owned this car (Carbonio Nero GTS, bells and whistles, etc) for 7 1/2 years, and I've put about 50K miles on it. It has broken down/stranded me exactly once (in the rain, at the SFO parking garage) due to its JAPANESE Nippondenso alternator, which I removed and had rebuilt, then replaced myself. Not for the faint-hearted, as it requires removing the top of the intake manifold, but straight forward as far as repairs go. That was six years ago. That having been said, my QP has been to as mechanic exactly...ZERO times for repairs, although it spend a week at my local guy's getting prepped for its initial collaudo (inspection) at the Motorizazzione Ufficio. This is because, when we moved to Italy in late 2020, my wife and I brought the QP with us. Because it was a US-spec car, it had to be certified to EU spec by the government office. There was five months' bureaucratic paperwork to be completed, a bit of work replacing the TPMS sensors, and a Photoshop-generated new speedo label which read in KM/H. My gorgeous deep grey window tint had to go, as it's illegal here in Italy. Now my beautiful QPV with 85K miles on the odometer is back on the street. We live exactly four blocks from the Maserati factory in Modena. Wave when you hear us go by! There is exactly one issue, which I suspect is not specific to my own car--the factory wheels. In my opinion, they are substandard. Four out of five developed hairline cracks in normal freeway driving, which led to replacing wheels and tires as onesies to the tune of $1800.00 a few years back, until I finally broke down and installed factory-spec aftermarket five spoke wheels. Nary a problem since. This QPV is a xxxx of a car. No plans to ever sell it or trade it in.
