2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
Puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. The only thing I would change is put the glove box and CD player in a better reachable spot. They are located between the seats and behind the driver so you can’t reach them from the drivers seat.

Will never go anywhere else. I’ve had it with “bait and switch” at new car dealerships, where you go into a shop and all the cars are at least $10k more than advertised and still have hidden fees. Only CarMax offers full refunds for like 10 days after purchase. Jon Kay and Cua Thow provided great customer service for me at the Carmel store. I regret that I didn’t get the salesman’s name at Greenwood store (I remember he said he was an EMT). He was also fantastic and helped me find the truck in Carmel that I wanted. Everyone was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. It is hard to believe that you can get such great service from people not working for commission. My new truck has less than $6k miles, looks brand new and was a fair reasonable price.
2020 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
I purchased this car to have a small convertible for pleasure use and it's perfect for my needs. The Soul Red color is beautiful. I am a big guy but after a little maneuvering of my body to enter it, I feel very comfortable in it. It's a 6 speed manual with a short but smooth shift knob. Lots of extras and features and still have to learn to navigate some of them. It has enough power for my needs and great gas mileage. Only wish it had automatic climate control and a little less road noise on the highway. The lane departure alert is very sensitive and irritating but is a good trade off for safety. It needs a cabin trunk release knob and if it has one, I can't find it. I would prefer leather seats and Bose radio system but my cloth seats are comfortable with excellent quality fabric and the 6 speaker radio is acceptable to someone who's not an audiophile. Lastly, would love automatic headlight dimmers so I don't blind oncoming drivers at night! Overall, I now know why it is so highly rated and I love it already.

On Wednesday afternoon I walked into Tom Wood’s dealership, service department, hoping to find a service advisor to assist me with my Mustang Mach E. It was a pleasure to meet Jami Phillippe who has been with Tom Wood for 13 years in several positions. She currently oversees the Mobile Service team. Jami is knowledgeable, professional, and put me at ease immediately. Once she explained Tom Woods Mobile service I was on board. I asked when can you schedule our recall service? With a big smile Jami said how about tomorrow. On Thursday Jami’s tech was asked to call my wife between 9:00 and 10:00 AM. He called as expected and came to our door promptly was given our keys to our Mustang Mach E and proceeded to our garage where he completed his job in a timely and professional manner. I let Jamie know what a blessing this was for me and my wife. Chris and I did not have to jump through the normal hopes associated with scheduling maintenance at a dealership. I did speak with two service advisors at another Ford Dealership and was disappointed with their process and lack of concern for me and my continued business. I recommend Tom Wood Ford because obviously they have an owner with a management team that has people in place, like Jamie Phillippe, that care, communicate, and get the job done, in a timely, professional manner. 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
I moved up from a 2015 Mazda 3 sport to the 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata Grand Touring soft top in May of 2020. It is soul red with tan leather interior. I have received many compliments from people who say the car looks more expensive then it really is. I prefer the soft top over the hard top model because it was almost 5 grand cheaper and I get more open space when driving with the top down. Takes me about two seconds to drop the top even while I'm sitting in the driver seat at a stop light. It is a lot of fun in sport mode on the highway as you can easily pass about anyone in seconds. Sometimes people move out of you way when they see you in their rear view mirror, lol. I turned off the lane departure feature as it beeps too much for me. I love the blind spot feature, automatic headlights, automatic climate control, seat heaters, and rain sensing wipers. There is a lot of wind noise in the cabin even with the top up and it is not as comfortable on long rides like the Mazda 3 was but I wouldn't go back. The trunk space is only good for one week of groceries or one carry on suitcase. There is no spare tire so I recommend having roadside assistance. CarPlay for iPhone works seamlessly and the Bose system sounds awesome. Build quality is top notch on this car, nothing feels cheap, and everything is laid out well. You have storage behind your seats but be aware the glove box is in between the seats and can be blocked by anything in the cup holders. I'm 5 foot 3 so this car fits me perfectly.

2024 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF review
Car drives and handles like a true sports (not race) car. The hardtop convertible is a big plus especially if you aren’t keeping this somewhat protected from the elements. The only small complaint is where the glove box is located. I understand they have it in the center for interior constraints, but I wish they would have found some way to have it by the passenger front side.

2023 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
December 2024 bought a 2023 Mazda Miata Grand Touring with 34,500 miles. Drove the car from South Florida to the SC coast, 10 hours. Fantastic fun drive! 6 speed manual with a soft top only weighs 2350 pounds, spirited ride, excellent power and fuel economy, 35 mpg. Good tech with blind spot monitors, cruise, power windows and locks. Push button start, heated seats and navigation just enough tech. Puts a smile on your face just looking at it, lots of compliments and you are just happy driving this magnificent, magical machine!! Just love it! 🥰

1999 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
Really an amazing car. Mazda just hit the mark for a fun to drive roadster without requiring sacrifice in terms of longevity, reliability or dependability. The handling is balanced and forgiving, while maintaining a reasonably comfortable ride. It has enough power and though it won't win a stoplight drag race it will embarrass much more powerful cars on a twisty road.

2023 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF review
At first glance you ask yourself... what did I buy. It looks small and very low to the ground. You manage to get in and start the car. The engine roars to life and it's louder than what you might be used to. The seat hugs your body and you begin to get comfortable. First gear sprints the MX-5 into what feels like a roller coaster ride. It's lively and fun, and you tell yourself... yeah, I can get used to this. Is you're looking for excuses to take it out for a ride.

If you are looking for great fun, economical maintenance costs and outstanding reliability this is the car for you. I had mine for ten years with only normal maintenance. Winding back roads in a Miata are where you will want to be.

Two words to describe O'Brien's is Honesty and Integrity. I worked with Tate in sales and he did an excellent job answering all my questions and because I live 2 hours away I had him look over the whole car and drive it before I made the 2 hr drive to the store. When I got there, and looked over the car there were no surprises. I bought the Highlander 'As Is' and with no extended warranty. Two days after I bought it I realized it had a major issue that went undetected on our test drive and my drive home for different reasons. I figured I was on my own and out of luck but decided to get a hold of Tate and tell him the issue. He in turn involved Patrick the used car general manager. They told me they would do the right thing. They were under no obligation to help me but they did. After all the facts were gathered they made me a reasonable offer to get me out of the vehicle with the issue and into another vehicle. I was shocked they made me the offer but they did exactly what they said, they did the right thing. Thank you Tate and Patrick!! One other thing - I couldn't believe how clean their used cars were, it is like buying a new car. Pablo does an amazing job cleaning the vehicles. Give a shout out to him if you buy from them. I recommend buying from them and I plan to look their way first if buying another Toyota.
2012 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
You can adjust the seats. Heated seats are nice and the sound system sounds good for its Dolby system. Can't beat the design or its performance.

I'm an out of state buyer who is willing to gamble. I was looking for the best specimen of a particular older car which I didn't need-but wanted. I went into this with the attitude I was willing to spend a couple of thousand extra to get eveything right. The car was a one owner 2009 Florida car with 74K miles. The body and paint was in incredible condition. I spent an additional $1500 for a new suspension and to replace degraded window rubber seals neither of which was absolutely necessary-but I like to have things right. The car now looks and runs like 2 year old car-people are shocked when I tell them it is 15 years old! This is the second -and probably last car I will purchase online. I got burned on a previous online purchase-but this was an impulse buy which I could afford to risk and only time will tell if I made out Ok. But for now, I'm pleased. All this being said, Emron was true to his word and even came through with the missing owners manual a couple of weeks later. As of now, I consider my experience was good one.

The paint is cheap and the y should make any car's plastic head lamps at a complete right angle to the ground sow they do not get damage from the sun.

2004 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
I bought this car new, and love it more now than the day I drove it off the lot. High Mark's for me on comfort because though it's not 'roomy' it is comfortable. From Michigan we've been to the East Coast, West Coast, down into Tennessee and around Lake Superior (twice) and never had any comfort issues. The only performance issue is that I wish it had a "seventh" gear, an overdrive of sorts, or that sixth had longer legs. 70 mph mean your pushing 3500 rpm which gets old...I can downshift if I need the turbo to kick in! All in all it's a fabulous car: reliable, comfortable, and a thrill to drive anywhere from a backroad twisty to a simple trip up to the grocery! That said, she's not my only MX-5.
