BOUGHT 19 FGLEX AS I ALWAYS WANTED 1 AND IT IS THE LAST YEAR THEY MADE IT....DIDN'T REALLY WANT TO SELL MY MONTEGO, BUT I DONT NEED 2 CARS...CHECK OUT SIMILAR YEAR CARS ON THE INTERNET...MANY HAVE WELL OVER 150,000 MILES STILL RUNNING STRONG THIS IS A HEAVY CRUISER BUT EXTREMELY EFFICIENT...OVER 400 MILES PER TANK FULL OF GAS. I owe Tapp Motors (Jr and Sr) a wholehearted apology for what I wrote last night. Seems like we all had challenging days yesterday and our lines of communications were BROKEN. You know, I’ve always given advice about email like this: Write what you want, but NEVER, EVER send an emotional email... I broke my own rule. Also, if you have a problem and misunderstanding then pick up the phone, walk over and have a friendly conversation to clear the air. So, that’s what I did earlier today after not sleeping much last night. I called both gents and explained my feelings and why I abruptly left the lot yesterday. They were very gracious and we all apologized for poor communication. I felt better, they felt better and everyone is smiling and laughing... Life is GOOD! After such a misunderstanding and we’re able to “shake hands” and part friends says A LOT about the Character of the Tapp Family. It’s not often a rather bad communication can be settled and without hard feelings. It’s ALL about the more often and not practiced “Golden Rule”.... Sadly we’re often too busy to stop and smell the roses and more importantly LISTEN. God gave us two ears to one mouth. Gentlemen and The Family of Tapp Motors.... Please accept apology for my err in judgment. I’d gladly send friends and family your way in the future. Class Act!

1994 Mercury Grand Marquis review
Simply the best car I have ever owned, save for my 1965 T-Bird convertible. "Big Silver" belonged to my late mother and stepfather. It was always babied. The ride was like silk, the interior roomy and very quiet. Gas mileage rarely dropped below 26mpg. Aside from routine maintenance and some electrical problems, the car was surprisingly low-cost to operate. Unfortunately, a careless driver ran full-speed into the rear of it two years ago, launching it up an embankment. Only the rear tailight area was munched--it saved my husband's life.

1996 Mercury Grand Marquis review
My 96 Merc Grand Marquis is probably the most reliable car I have owned, while it is not infallable. I have discovered that a code reader and being able to change the EGR Valve, Throttle Position Sensor, Mass Airflow Sensor, Oxygen Sensors and Window Regulator gears as well as keep the oil changed is all that's needed. I have over 300,000 miles on it now and it still runs well. Seems to have lost a little pep, but not very much. Amazing car.

2005 Mercury Mountaineer review
When I purchased the car it was used but with low miles. The miles are still low and the car is starting to show its age. I am grateful that the work was able to he completed in my driveway. It's still a good car and i am glad i bought it!!!

2009 Mercury Grand Marquis review
My 2006 Grand Marquis has 242,000 miles. I have never had a better all around car. It's my third, and I'm about to buy my 4th while I can still get one. On trips I've averaged over 25mpg. The only repairs are the normal wear items. It's comfortable, drives well, has ample room in the interior and has a large trunk. The 4.6 liter engine runs flawlessly and never uses oil. You can't beat these cars!

2002 Mercury Cougar review
My father had one. He traded it for a 2005 Silverado. He only had 1 problem with it, we had to replace the main pulley. It sits low and handles great! I genuinely love this car. The only problem being that its slow. Do not get it if you are not into cars or don't like feeling like your driving a race car. If your into cars I'd highly recommend getting it as a first car. For parents reading this, it is slow, you wont catch your son or husband speeding in this. It handles like a real race car as well!

I'm an out of state buyer who is willing to gamble. I was looking for the best specimen of a particular older car which I didn't need-but wanted. I went into this with the attitude I was willing to spend a couple of thousand extra to get eveything right. The car was a one owner 2009 Florida car with 74K miles. The body and paint was in incredible condition. I spent an additional $1500 for a new suspension and to replace degraded window rubber seals neither of which was absolutely necessary-but I like to have things right. The car now looks and runs like 2 year old car-people are shocked when I tell them it is 15 years old! This is the second -and probably last car I will purchase online. I got burned on a previous online purchase-but this was an impulse buy which I could afford to risk and only time will tell if I made out Ok. But for now, I'm pleased. All this being said, Emron was true to his word and even came through with the missing owners manual a couple of weeks later. As of now, I consider my experience was good one.

I have a 2005 Grand Marquis LS, and this care is awesome! I did modify it slightly with a K&N cold air induction and custom made dual stainless steel exhaust. The car is so great for cruising because it is like sitting in your living room on the couch.

2006 Mercury Grand Marquis review
Mine is a 06 LS ultimate with the Handling performance package. Its a very reliable tank. Drives through the snow just fine. I hit a deer at 70mph and all it needed was a headlight assembly and a header panel. Also getting a go rhino front bumper with wrap around headlight protectors makes hitting black bears a non-issue, believe me I've hit one. Still think the car would benefit if it had 300hp
