We went to Hendrick Honda of Hickory because of a KBB special that was running. We had negative equity on our car and really wanted to trade. Israel was our salesman and he is a fantastic person! I saw a used Honda Civic listed on their website. Went down to the dealership. Was approached by a friendly salesman, Mike Powell who found the car I wanted quickly, let me test drive it and guided me through the purchasing process, which was relatively painless. I think this Civic will be a great car for me, but whenever I do need another one, I will definitely see if Mike is available. He's helpful, straight-forward, friendly, and just a very decent person.
I went in there with the goal of buying the charger that I have literally been reviewing for the past three weeks. Mark in Sales did a great job helping me with that. James the Finance manager also was great, very friendly and professional. Michael with management had great customer service and helped me as well. Kaleb and Austin were just nice and courteous salesmen in general. Very polite and just really cool, made me feel comfortable being there. I'm very big on customer service and they did an awesome job. By the end of this experience, I drove out in my brand new 2018 Dodge Charger that I walked in and said I wasn't leaving without. Oh and to add, I definitely did my price searching on 2018 chargers all around the Carolinas north and south and it had one of the lowest prices with the color and model I wanted! I recommend this dealership out of all of them, and I don't even reside in the Gastonia area. They have a huge variety so your choices are endless. If you want GREAT customer service along with a team of Professionals I suggest this dealership 100%. You guys did an awesome job, Thank you again!
First off I have never liked going to car dealerships they are usually on top of you before you have a chance to get out of the vehicle. This was not the case at all with Modern Nissan. My wife and I looked around with no pushy salesman. When one did come over he was very friendly answered all our questions and was never pushy. After a couple days of thinking about it we called and told them the vehicle we wanted I answered some questions and texted my info to them we went in after work signed the papers and out the door no haggle no wait a great all around experience. I
My salesman Logan was the best ! he is extremely knowledgeable, he understood what i was looking for ! he answered all my questions with precision and ultimately got my new Jetta ! i would recommend him and this dealership to anyone !
Richard Albino was incredibly easy to talk to, and explained things (more than once!) to make sure I completely understood the process and so that he understood exactly what I was looking for. I have a disability and so I was so very worried that going in by myself, I would be confused. I was so anxious walking into the dealership, and Richard put me right as ease and made this car leasing process seamless. I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy or lease a car!
As most people are these days, I am a busy mom with a full time job. No time to sit at a car dealership and haggle over pricing. I had made my last payment on my lease car so I contacted David Brown (who I have purchased many cars from) and told him I was ready to turn my lease car in and purchase a new one. No lease. He knew my budget and immediately began texting me cars for me to review. I picked out the one I wanted and he turned me over to Venus who went through the details with me. All through text and emails. She was super helpful and got me the deal that I wanted. So, after work last night, I went to the dealership and met Ben Madsen who had been filled in with all my details by Venus. We checked out the car, went to Shaun the Finance Manager. Everything was just as promised. No tricks. No surprises. I signed the papers and was driving home within an hour of arriving. Best experience! I traded in to a new 2018 Golf yesterday and had a great experience with Ben Madsen. When I went in to the dealership I was not set on actually trading in my car but I found Ben to be immeadiatly likable and relatable. When discussing everything with Ben it feels like you just talking with a normal dude, not a salesman. The deal went well and I got what I set out to get for my trade in and what I deemed an acceptable deal on the price of the new car. Also a plus was that Joel in finance was easy to talk to also and wasn't pushy either. Overall it was a smooth transaction at Carolina Volkswagen and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend.
Ben Madsen was knowledgable and very helpful. He answered all our questions and made the process a breeze!!! We saw a brand new 2019 Jetta SE and fell in love with the car. Ben went over all the features and explained them carefully to my 17 year old son, who just got his driver's license.

Ben Madsen helped me with my recent purchase of the VW atlas. I???ve previously worked with VW of Carolina, Hendrick, and VW of South Charlotte for precious car purchases- Ben was hands down the best associate I???ve encountered. I never felt he was ???selling??? or working toward any other agenda than mine. He is a great listener, translated my needs, and gave me a better offer package than any other dealer. He is highly professional and represents the VW and Renaldo family well. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to point out additional features and options. I had the best experience working with Carolina VW- unlike VW of South Charlotte and Hendrick, the Renaldos own 7 (not 100+) dealerships. They CARE about their clients and it shows in their professional, expedited support.
