2026 Mazda CX-90 review
After owning several luxury SUV”s , the Mazda CX 90 with the inline 6 engine, is amazing and just as luxurious! The cabin is quiet the ride is smooth and have taken several road trips without any problems. We have been very impressed with the gas mileage on this AWD as well. The third row is ideal for anyone under 5.11, and it’s very convenient to have rear AC that can be controlled by rear passengers.

So my wife and I decided to go to Carolina Volkswagen and check their inventory. Glad we did. Once we arrived at the dealership we got out and started walking around looking at cars. After a few moments a salesman came out an introduced himself. His name was Chris Harmon. Chris turned out to be the consummate professional. We told him our story, and what we were looking for. He listened attentively asked a few more questions then led us over to the Passats. After looking at the New models we walked over to the Certified Pre-owned and there it was, a Passat R-Line w/Comfort Pkg. a really nice car. We took it for a test drive as well as an SUV and fell in love w/the R-Line. The rest is history we chose the R-Line. Through the whole process Chris didn’t try to pressure us or hound us into buying a car. Thank you Chris.
2026 Volkswagen Atlas review
While sales noted it has cameras, it is only for backing up, not when parking and looking for a forward camera. Not having either auto fold in mirrors or memory for seat (only available on their most expensive model) turns out to be quite inconvenient. Car is quite comfortable and roomy, especially the 3rd row.

2026 Hyundai SANTA FE HEV review
Bought this new hybrid car a few weeks ago and going on first long distance drive, 2k miles, soon. So far we love this car. The looks and performance have been what we hoped for. Gas mileage is not max yet, but it is still breaking in. There are a lot of electronics to learn how to use and I read and watch YouTube for more info. Looking forward to really driving this long distance.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Modern Hyundai of Concord, and I can confidently say it was one of the best car-buying experiences I’ve ever had. A huge part of that was thanks to Victor Boicu. From start to finish, Victor was incredibly thorough with his communication and always followed through on everything he said he would do. What really stood out, though, was his approach—he was never pushy. Instead of trying to steer me toward things I didn’t want (which I experienced at several other dealerships during my search), he actually listened to what I was looking for and worked to find solutions which fit my needs. After my initial visit, he even sent a follow-up walk-through video of the vehicle so I could share it with my wife and family. That level of respect and attentiveness made all the difference. For the sake of transparency and authenticity, I’ll add that the experience wasn’t absolutely perfect—about a week or two after the purchase, I realized the cabin air filter was missing. I reached out to Victor and the team at Modern Hyundai, and they got it corrected with minimal to no inconvenience to me. No one is perfect, but how people respond is what truly matters in my book, and they handled it the right way. I would strongly recommend anyone considering buying a car from Modern Hyundai of Concord to do so—and definitely ask for Victor. 2026 Volvo XC60 review
We just leased our third XC60 having previously leased a 2021 and a 2024. We find the 2026 similar with some improvements in the interior material and I believe a bit better performance than our 2024. Being a mild hybrid the mileage is acceptable as is acceleration. Volvo has the most comfortable seats for sure.

If Carolina Volkswagen were a Christmas tree, Mr. Donell Richardson is the shiny star on the top of the tree. That is an interest word picture because I don’t know how we could get him fixed to stay up there! He made the entire process of purchasing a car relaxing and enjoyable. Donnell knew the details about the 2012 Toyota Highlander that we purchased and he took time to show us some cosmetic issues that we probably would never have noticed. He impressed my wife and I as a man of honesty and integrity. When we sell the Highlander, Donell is the first call that I will make to purchase another vehicle. As for the Finance Manager, I was ready to go to war with him. When buying a car it is that department that messes up any good deal that a sales person puts together. I was ready for the “hidden costs” and sneaky add-on’s, ready to argue about them. That’s just the way Finance Managers operate, you can’t turn your backs on them! Mr. Chris Gray totally upended my arguing plans! Chris was honest, upfront and,shopped for the best financing deals for us. We were impressed with his “customer first” attitude and his eagerness to work, ensuring that Donell’s deal was honored. If Donell was the star on top of the tree, Chris was the stand. 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan review
Great 28.3 mileage w 500 mile cruising range on regular gas. Seat comfort, engine performance (no turbo lag), quality, great quiet ride, ventilated massage seats, and tons of upscale standard equipment quickly made us forget our 2022 Audi Q5 Premium Plus Sportback with a 15K savings and even more features. Best buy on a mid sized luxury SUV. Would highly recommend!

2026 Hyundai SANTA CRUZ review
I purchased my 2026 Hyundai Santa Cruz SEL Activity with only 18 miles on the odometer and have driven it over 8,900 miles since May 9, 2026. After daily driving it in city conditions and taking it on longer highway trips, I can confidently say this vehicle delivers an excellent blend of SUV comfort and truck utility. The Santa Cruz was exactly what I was looking for. I needed something that offered more capability and cargo flexibility than my Tucson while still maintaining passenger comfort and everyday drivability. The SEL Activity trim comes with great features, including heated seats, lane assist, a sunroof, and comfortable second-row seating. The bed is spacious, and the factory Tonneau cover does an excellent job keeping anything I carry back there clean and dry. I also appreciated purchasing from a dealership that provided a dealer-backed warranty, giving me additional confidence in my ownership experience. The Santa Cruz provides a great balance of practicality, features, and peace of mind without needing to rely on a third-party warranty company. Driving performance has been excellent. The truck has plenty of power, and highway driving is where it really shines. It is extremely stable, comfortable, and quiet, with almost no noticeable cabin noise. Fuel economy has been impressive, averaging around 24–26 MPG during continuous daily city driving and reaching 36–38 MPG during longer highway trips. Handling is excellent, especially with the 18-inch tires, and the transmission provides plenty of torque for the terrain and conditions I regularly encounter. There have been a few minor issues. After an infotainment software update, the USB-C connection used for Android Auto/Apple CarPlay stopped working properly. Disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes temporarily fixes the issue until the vehicle is turned off again. The driver assistance system also has some quirks. Even on well-marked roads, the lane assistance can sometimes behave unpredictably, and I have noticed it occasionally tries to move right instead of staying centered when going through intersections. The biggest annoyance has been a rattle from the passenger-side headliner that has been present since I purchased the vehicle. It is especially noticeable on rough roads. The climate control system works very well with dual front controls and rear airflow, although occasionally the fan will completely stop for a few seconds before restarting. Overall, the 2026 Hyundai Santa Cruz SEL Activity has been an excellent vehicle.
