1983 Porsche 928 review
The Porsche 928 S was a dream car of mine for 20 years. About 2 years ago I came across and ad where a guy had 2 of them for sale as a package deal (1 ran and 1 for parts). I jumped on them as quick as I could. Needless to say, I had to piece them together to make one good car but it has been a great journey and in the end, I have a great looking and driving car worth 10 times what I paid for the pair!

1986 Porsche 944 review
Few people can understand that my car has 250,000 miles and is 25 years old. Once you refresh the fluids, belts, bushings, bearings, rubber and clutch you will have one of history's top 5 handling cars... capable of running another 250k. Check the oil, brake and power steering fluid on a weekly basis and be sure that the fuel lines in the engine bay have had the Federal Recall done. Pull 3rd gear at 4,000 rpm's into a right-hand sweeper and watch your rear view mirror cars shrink.. IMHO, only a Corvette, Lotus Exige, Boxster/Cayman/GT3, most any recent Ferrari/Lambo, or an M3/M5 would handle as well as the antique 944. And none of those cars can be found running for $4,000 or less. Porsche - There is No Substitute.

In 2016, I bought my 2017 Porsche Macan fully-loaded at Downtown L.A. Porsche. The sales experience – from test driving four different Porsche SUV and sports-car models, to the calm negotiations – was the most professional in 31 years of car-purchases. Yet, my 2019 customer service and car repair EXCEEDED this positive sales experience. The one throughline in these experiences is DTLA GM Victor Ghassemi. In short, my tires were defective and there was a battery issue. After I talked with a closer dealer who tried to upsell me roughly $3000 in repairs, I reached back to Downtown L.A. Porsche. Within 48 hours, Victor’s professional driver picked-up (and later delivered) my Macan for free. Victor took care of every issue with astonishing generosity. DTLA Porsche service representative Irwin delivered Victor’s directives with organization and timeliness. The whole experience once again made other car brands and service pale in comparison. 2015 Porsche Panamera review
I have owned the car for nearly 6 yrs, and it previously was owned by the Porsche dealer's owner, so I knew it was well taken care of for the 13000 miles on it before I bought it. I have put on 62K miles and have had relatively few problems, nothing major. Normal maintenance and expenses are not cheap, but love the feel and looks of the car. Previously only owned 2 door Porsches and never thought I would buy a 4 door. Glad I got the car.

2012 Porsche Panamera review
I've owned my 2012 Panamera Turbo "S" for a few years now. There is no comparison. It's a freak of nature. This car absolutely hugs the road and still is just as fast as the new 911's. Other than oil changes its never spent one day in the shop.

After 5 years it has never let me down- not even once- and besides the recall notices that were always handled during regularly scheduled visits nothing has needed attention. The fit and finish and styling are still totally on point after all this time. The car looks and drives exactly like it did when new despite 30,000 miles. Also, I have 21’ wheels and thought I would have to replace the tires by now. However, they are chunky and full of tread. I drove 1000 miles in one day last week averaging 77mph and 29.5mpg. Great performance and a long drive in one day. It was so nice on the road and my body despite the longest drive of my life! Fit and finish, quality of the components, and tech that is totally up to date after 5 years. Wow. Loved it! I also own a cayenne and a 2015 Mercedes S class. The Mercedes is not close to the quality unfortunately.
