2023 Genesis G70 review
Car is fun to drive, great mileage, nice performance, comfortable on the highway. Only negative is the smaller trunk but since both back seats fold down it is ok as there are only two of us in the family. This is my second genesis and they are great cars.

We have had repetitive issues with a new Corsair we purchased in 2024 for the last seven months. The vehicle has been in and out of the service department. The car was not fixed or temporarily fixed (only for the issue to return the next day) and or denied any mechanical issues existed. We were even told to take the vehicle to another Dealership (Lincoln) as they could not fix or identify/find any problems, but at this point, we did not trust any Lincoln Dealerships due to the consistent gaslighting, fabricating, and inability to repair the vehicle. Instead, we took our car to Capitol Ford/DGDG Group and the service was absolutely what one would expect. Professional, engaging, mechanical experts, honest, caring, and engaging. From the initial contact in the evening to driving home in a new car before noon the following day. Cody Elemen was great, ( laid back, no pressure and efficient). He got everything squared away on his end before i got there so i could just sign the needed documents and be on my way, wasn't even at the dealership 2hrs total (included test driving the car, running a credit check, securing financing, signing paperwork). They also fueled the tank up all the way which was appreciated. Capital offered a fair deal a few% under msrp and Ford credit got my apr way lower on the loan than any bank rate going these days. Rachel Murphy in finance finished the transaction and didn't rush me thru the process, ( we were done with all of it in under 20 min) and explained what forms were for what and answered any questions I had. Overall a great first time buying experience, really polite and friendly. Cody Elemen, Rachel Murphy thank you for your courtesy, efficiency, and your humble genuineness.
2024 Toyota Corolla review
Mine is an American made LE. It was bought at a time when very few stripped-down models were available. Using Toyota's parts website, I paid about 1/3 the price for options like the bumper protector, door edge guards, door trim, mud guards and all weather mats. True, it's got cheap materials and Toyota skipped even putting an engine cover to quiet it up (although, in Southern California, the engine cover can retain heat that's not as beneficial as it would be in a place further north). Regularly reaches 37 MPG combined short trips and 20-mile commutes. Longer freeway drives easily goes over 42 MPG. One of the most surprising things about this car is the OEM tires. They are solid, they maintain their air pressure over many months, unlike my friends' who also have bought new Toyotas and half much less consistent tires. The car is regularly parked outside with sun exposure and the exterior seems to hold up okay after 2 years. I did do a break-in oil change at 500 miles and I do oil changes at 5,000 miles. I need this car to last me a long time and the Toyota recommended service intervals will not lead to longevity. There are many Toyota experts who encourage even shorter intervals between oil changes based on Southern California severe driving standards. Too much traffic is considered severe driving. Something else, if this car were bought 55 miles South, in Mexico, the grade of oil would be very different. In America, 0W-8 is the official oil viscosity. In Tijuana, Baja California, 0W-20 is recommended and 5W-30 is even acceptable further south... On Toyota's own documentation! For the summer oil, I have 0W-16 put in it. The car is near the ocean and never has been exposed to anything near freezing temperatures. My friend helps me maintain the car and he gets a lot of information from a Toyota Master diagnostic technician on YouTube, "A Car Care Nut." As a final note, the optical systems that are used for safety for Toyotas have a service memo stating that their safety systems are only guaranteed if windshield replacements are done with Toyota glass and the devices calibrated with Toyota software. In car insurance, you have to show this information to your insurance company for them to approve the OEM glass and Toyota body shop work. The windshield and calibration easily runs over $2,000. I have seen those windshield companies claim that they calibrate the safety system only for it not to work in a future accident. Be your own best advocate and insist on Toyota glass and calibration. By the way, we also looked at Honda, Nissan and Mitsubishi. The transmissions on the Nissan and the Mitsubishi are garbage, the Honda has so many systems to save fuel that negatively affect the engine, Toyota's reliability is often because they choose not to do risky fuel saving software settings.

2018 Subaru WRX review
This car has been nothing short of a pleasure to own. Its so much fun to drive, handles well, pulls hard, and just puts a smile on my face all the time. Its practical with good storage space and good back seat room. The AWD system on the car is great and offers endless grip. The car does have its quirks, it is a little noisy on the highway (wind noise), and the interior quality is just so-so (materials aren't bad, but aren't great either), and there are a couple of creaks and rattles. This place is amazing! They have so many cars to choose from. Plus they have an exotics lane which is really cool, they have everything from a Benz to a Porsche! The whole buying process is very quick, I bought my car in two hours and drove home. In comparison to the Mercedes of Stevens Creek, which literally took me 8 hours to buy after I picked out my car. The only knock is the service department, which doesn’t do paint repair for scratches, even though they told me that the scratches on my car would be fixed, they only used touch up paint, which looks like I did it myself and not professionally done like I wanted. But it was a used car, so no big deal. Overall I highly recommend!
2022 Subaru Impreza review
Great car. Great Price. No complaints. Just the right size for me, mainly for visibility. I've upgraded to more bells and whistles than I had before. Love the backup screen for parking. Love the miles per gallon at 32. The car has great pickup - just what you need when you need it.

2023 Chevrolet Malibu review
We had the 2018 before this 2023 for 3years and it was amazing other than regular maintenance we put a battery in it that's it. Loved the car took us everywhere without fail very reliable. Has a mean punch with the 4-cylinder but it's the turbo Tranny makes it mean. It goes when you need to! Nice style looks classy and sporty. We got grey metallic paint it looks purple! We love this car too, a lot like our old one but new features for sure driving assistance features crash prevention, and new car deck bigger and better could use a lot more bass lol. But great sound without good bass. Malibu's are being discontinued so the wife and I will be looking at a impala next ride purchase as we fell hard for Chevy Period!

2024 Honda Accord Hybrid review
Very nice car. My previous was a 2020 Accord. This hybrid Accord Sport L is way better. Do not get me wrong. The 2020 is a very good car. Someone is quite happy with it, no doubts. I recommend buying a spare. I chose Modern Spare. Spendy. Great quality. Hope I never use it. The spare fits underneath the trunk where the inflator is. Just remove the foam. Comes with everything you need plus a threaded plate to secure it. All fits in and around the spare. Plus, I got jumper cables in there. We think the car is quiet. I notice others think not. Plenty of power. Mileage I have gotten is much better than what it is rated at. Love the paddles. Fake down shifters. Much less use of brakes for lights and stop signs. Planning to keep this car for quite awhile.

2025 Honda Accord Hybrid review
Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L Review (1,500 miles) After careful research, I purchased a Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L and have now put just over 1,500 miles on it. As a tough critic, I’d give the car an overall 9/10, with many aspects deserving 4.5/5 stars. What I Like: The Accord feels exceptionally well-refined, handsome inside and out, and surprisingly high-quality. The dashboard and infotainment system are straightforward, responsive, and user-friendly. Controls are logically placed, voice commands and hands-free calling work reliably, and call quality is excellent on both ends. I especially love the regenerative braking paddles on the steering wheel. They keep me engaged while driving (especially in the city), help recharge the battery, and reduce wear on the brake pads. The driving experience is a highlight — the car feels agile and nimble in traffic, with competent acceleration, steering, and braking. It simply feels well-engineered and enjoyable to drive. On cold Michigan mornings, the vehicle warms up quickly, the windshield defrosts fast, and the cabin reaches a comfortable temperature within about five minutes of remote start. The three-level seat heaters are effective and useful for maintaining comfort without running the heater constantly. What I Don’t Like: Headlights: While the low and high beams provide good visibility, the automatic high-beam system is finicky. It sometimes stays on too long when oncoming traffic approaches, unlike the flawless system in my previous 2018 F-150. Seat Comfort & Space: For my daily 70-mile commute, the seats are adequate. As a 6’0”, 250 lb driver, I have plenty of headroom and the car comfortably fits five adults. However, I suspect the seats may not be plush enough for longer trips, and I wish there was a bit more legroom. Fuel Economy: This is my biggest disappointment so far. I drive about 85% highway miles. In cold weather (low 40s°F). I’ve been struggling to break 38–39 mpg, with occasional warmer drives reaching 42–43 mpg. I was hoping for closer to the advertised 48 mpg combined, even in winter, and expect improvement as temperatures rise. Data Privacy: I discovered after purchase that Honda and Google are collecting significant driving and vehicle data with limited options to control or limit what is shared with them and third parties. Overall Verdict: The Accord Hybrid EX-L is a refined, comfortable, and enjoyable daily driver with excellent build quality and thoughtful features. Minor frustrations with the auto high-beams, seat comfort for long trips, and lower-than-expected MPG in cold weather keep it from a perfect score. Still, I’d highly recommend it for most buyers, especially once warmer weather returns and fuel economy improves.

2016 Audi S6 review
My S6 might be the most enjoyable car that I have ever owned. I’ve been Ver fortunate In life, fortunate enough to own and/or drive many nice, high end vehicles. Ferrari, Lambo’s, Lotus, Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, Porsche, Land Rover, etc. this by far is my favorite. The car is very comfortable but it doesn’t stop with there. They have taken a very comfortable and easy to drive car and made it into a true sleeper. This car is a rocket, it’s actually almost too fast if that’s possible. Yes, it’s not flashy like a Testa Rosa. It’s not as recognizable as a 911 turbo and not quite as refined as an S600 or a V12 Vanden Plas, but wow, it will seriously blow your socks off. I never imagined that a mid sized 4 door sedan would be so much fun to drive. I can fit the kids, car seats included, the golf clubs, wife and dog and I still believe it 0-60 in under 4 sec. comfort, ridiculous power, all wheel drive and room, what’s not to love.
