Carter Subaru Ballard review
My wife and I recently leased our very first Subaru from Carter Subaru - a 2019 Subaru Forester. We were fortunate enough to have Steven Mackie as our salesperson and he was seriously fantastic. Incredibly kind, thoughtful, and a sincere listener as we chatted through what we were looking for in a new vehicle. He gets us :) Mark Arbar, our finance rep, was also a joy to work with and kind as well. Overall, we highly recommend the experience of looking for a new or used car at Carter and couldn't speak more highly of Steven and Mark.
2023 Subaru Forester review
Overall, at 60k miles, I’ve had no problems and am very happy. I average around 34 mpg’s with mixed driving. I’m happy with the acceleration as well, even though Subaru’s without a turbo are sometimes labeled as slow. I have no problem merging onto highways. The Forester is an easy to live with SUV/car. The rear room is adequate, although the CRV offers about 10 cubic feet more rear capacity. Visibility is excellent. The CVT is smooth and has simulated shifts, just make sure you change the fluid every 30k! I own the Limited with leather seats that are very comfortable. Sometimes the response time on the radio/touch screen can feel a little delayed. I also opted for the dimming driver/rear view mirrors which is great during winter commuting. It saves your eyes from glare. Very view cars offer this which is why I went with the Subaru. My only “major” complaint with the car is a slight rattle coming from the dash board area. It isn’t always there, but is present enough to bother me. Aside from that it is an excellent vehicle and value for the money!

Sandu, our salesman, was great! Sent us videos of the car, my son’s first one, prior to our arrival. Smooth process up until we got to waiting over three hours for finance to do their part. We almost walked out on our deal because of them.
2022 Subaru Forester review
My purchase history has been that of a General Motors enthusiast. My wife worked with Subaru owners; they had no complaints. Decades of commercial truck driving exposed me to witnessing the site's of too many bad accidents. The Subaru safety record has earned my loyalty.

10/10 experience as far as car buying goes. My salesperson, Diana Wong,, made the process ACTUALLY smooth, fast, and easy… I feel like most cars salespeople say they will, but she actually gets it. This was the only car buying experience I’ve ever had that didn’t feel like a drag and like I had to keep my defense up. She’s a salesperson, but she talked to me like a person and not a commission check like most dealer salespeople tend to, and really wanted me to be happy throughout the process and when all was said and done. Highly recommend working with her if you’re in the area and in the market for a new car!
2021 Subaru Forester review
I like the solid feel of the car and the sturdy and high ride. Good acceleration. It would be a better SUV if the ground clearance was at least 10” or 12”, with the exhaust pipe properly tucked away!

I had an amazing experience buying my car here. The staff was knowledgeable, patient, and upfront about everything. The paperwork was quick, the price was fair, and the vehicle was exactly as advertised. One of the best dealerships I’ve dealt with
2021 Subaru Forester review
Other than battery replacement , car has been amazing ! 1 exception cup holders are located too far aft and require driver to look down to locate cup without removing eyes from road ! This issue has been partially addressed in later years by offsetting passengers holder slightly forward of drivers, but still awkward position ! both should be more forward nearer to dash !

2024 Subaru Forester review
the forester sport is very reliable get 26 mpg on most of my daily commutes. Drives great in the winter (even though I have the same tires they came with). Traveling in it on road trips are great, 31 mpg using the cruise control and lane assist. It's not a very fast SUV but it honestly worth it. I tend to speed, but it's not something that actually bothers me. I was worried it would be too sluggish. I picked the forester for my road trips, and extra stuff I drive with.

Tacoma Subaru review
We have been bringing our two vehicles here for nearly a decade and I have never left the experience with anything less than complete satisfaction. We get thorough service and I feel like our associates do a great job of communicating what changes need to be made now and which ones can wait. I’ve never been upsold an unnecessary repair and our vehicles have lasted us a decade without significant issue. We recently had a punctured tire we took to a local tire place for a quick patch (less than $100 to fix) but I got a quote for nearly $2,000 in “alignment” work that felt totally unnecessary. Luckily, Tacoma Subaru found nothing of concern in their routine inspection, and I’m happy to continue letting them guide our maintenance and repair schedule! 10/10 we always recommend Tacoma Subaru!
2026 Subaru Forester review
Rid is my third Subaru since 1984. First was a Subaru station wagon, had for 20 yrs, 220,000 miles. Second was a 2004 Subaru Forester. Just sold to another individual for $2,000 with 184,000 miles on it. Still running, original air, only issue was check engine light being on and couldn’t find what issue was. New owner thinks he may have identified and hoping to be fixed. I was hoping he might get another 100,000 miles out of car. He said he would be thrilled with 50,000. Just bought a brand new 2026 basic Forester. Love it even with all the new electronics on it.

2019 Subaru Forester review
I’ve driven the Forester before and have been wanting one for two years. So now that it was time for me to give up my 2010 Legacy with 222,000 miles on it, I chose the Forester. The dealer is very customer friendly and very competitive in their pricing, even though I paid 25K plus for a four year old car…vestiges of the used car pandemic pricing. The car drives beautifully, smooth and quiet. I am very happy with my purchase.

2019 Subaru Forester review
I had to make a 5 1/2 hour drive recently and loved how smoothly my car drove, especially using cruise control with “eyesight” so it slowed when I was too close to the car in front of me. I couldn’t even feel it; I watched the speedometer. Love the safety features and extras like seat warmers and large sunroof.

I always have a great experience at Tacoma Subaru. Open communication and time and cost estimates are always spot on. This is one of the few dealerships I trust to take my vehicle too, knowing that they aren’t trying to upsell me anything, including air filters! I would ask though that they make it really clear on the phone where I should go for whatever service I need. It is probably clear to most people when they call “service” to go there rather than express service, but my brain isn’t always moving fast enough, sometimes I need it spelled out for me “Go to service, NOT express service when you get here” Thank you!
2026 Subaru Forester review
This is my second Subaru, I just returned a 2024 Crosstrek, after three different Rav4’s I lease. I got the 2026 Subaru Forester Onyx Sport Edition. It’s all blacked out, with 17 inch wheels and Harmon audio, remote start, panoramic sunroof, all the safety features you name. I am in love with this thing so much higher up than the Crosstrek, more pick up, roomier, just all around better. I even like it better than any of my Ravs.

2026 Subaru Forester review
I bought this 2026 Subaru Forester Premium to replace the 2026 KIA Sportage that we had bought back in November 25. The KIA wasn't bad but the service department sucks. It had peeling paint on the bumper, and they denied the warranty claim, I started thinking if they are going to deny peeling paint what happens when something goes wrong with the engine or transmission. So much for their 10-year 100,000-mile warranty, what a joke. We currently own a 2024 Subaru Outback and now the 2026 Subaru Forester. All of the Subarus that we have own have treated us good, just make sure that keep up with maintenance and they last a long time. Landers Mclartys Subaru in Huntsville, AL, treated very fair with our trade-in and price on both vehicles,

Bought my first car from the guys will definitely be back for my second thanks guys!
2020 Subaru Forester review
I have a 2020 Forester with 19000 miles. I love it, especially as a tall and aging man. It it easy to drive, easy to get in and get out. Miles per gallon is great, typically well over 30 mpg in day to day city driving. I have noticed a number of complaints about batteries. I think in 2019-2020 they had a bad supplier of batteries. My experience was total battery failure at about 10000 miles. I had to purchase a replacement from AAA. Such stories were common during that period. I was irritated but received reimbursement even though it is not typical for a dealer/car company to do so. Smart dealers want to keep your business. The only other expenses were created by potholes knocking the car out of allignment and nails in parking lots puncturing the same tire twice! Sweep your xxxx parking lots retailers and restaurants.

2020 Subaru Forester review
This car is so comfortable! The driver sits up high, with great sight lines in all directions. The seats are comfortable. The features are very intuitive. My car has automatic door locks so when I walk up to the car with my key fob, put my hand on the door handle the doors unlock. It has automatic headlight dimmer which works great. It has plenty of power for freeway acceleration. All wheel drives makes it great in snow. I’m very happy with this car.

Subaru of PuyallupReviews
Subaru of Puyallup review
Our experience buying a new Subaru Outback at Subaru of Puyallup was EXCELLENT! I have no complaints whatsoever! Our original phone call regarding internet pricing was handled by Le'Shung Cage with efficiency, transparency, and a helpful attitude that felt very welcoming. The price quoted over the phone was thousands of dollars lower than anything I'd seen after weeks of shopping for a new Subaru!! A big surprise that motivated us to go to Puyallup that afternoon! Upon arrival, we were immediately introduced to Ms. Cage and then to the sales representative, Ryan Gifford, with whom we'd be doing our test drives and, as it turned out, helping us throughout the purchase process. With Ryan, the process of test drives, learning about the cars we drove and their features and subtleties, and finally the purchasing process was definitely stress-free, super helpful and informative, definitely no-pressure or gimmicks, (dare I say it:) fun!, and most-decidedly stress-free!! In all my 50 years of purchasing automobiles, this was that absolute best buying experience of them all!! (without doubt!). After easy and thorough discussions with Ryan, we went for the car security system but decided to shop-around an extended warranty - all without pressure or hard-sell. Ryan gave us the information and then stepped away and let us make our very own decision. Easy! We were lucky to not require financing so that part of the equation was also very easy - even still, the finance representative, Wade Finley, was very helpful and easy to work with regarding the acceptance of our check and the ease with which we moved through that process. Before leaving the dealership, we spent more time with Ryan Gifford during which he carefully covered more details about the operation of the car and its features. We felt this time was very well spent because Ryan's excellent discussions and tutorials really gave us an excellent start to knowing this vehicle and getting the most from its advanced driver assistance systems. THANK YOU, Ryan!! We are giving the entire Subaru of Puyallup New-Car sales team top honors for the very best experience in new car buying! Thank you, SofP!!

I have had a 21, 23 and now a 25 Subaru Forester Premium and over the years they have gotten better. I didn’t think I would like the large screen but now after two weeks of driving it, I’m loving it. It is a safe and reliable vehicle for small families and seniors like me.

One of the best cars I have ever owned. It drives like a dream, has more get-up-and-go then I ever thought a 4 cyl. could have. I make a 3000 miles trip from Texas to Utah in may and averaged 34 miles per gallon. I would recommend them to everyone.

Doug's HyundaiReviews
Doug's Hyundai review
5 Stars – An Unforgettable First Car Buying Experience at Doug’s Hyundai! As two young adults starting a new chapter and preparing to grow our little family, buying our first car was a major milestone. Thanks to Doug’s Hyundai—and especially Debra Martin—it became an unforgettable, joyful experience that we’ll cherish forever. Debra was truly the heart of this entire journey. From our very first visit, she made us feel completely at ease. There was no pressure, no sales pitch—just genuine kindness, care, and a deep understanding of what this moment meant to us. Over the course of several weeks, Debra stayed in touch, patiently answered every question (and there were a lot!), and helped guide us through every step with compassion and honesty. She made us feel seen, heard, and valued—not just as customers, but as people. By the time we drove away in our brand-new 2025 Hyundai Palisade XRT, we didn’t just have the perfect vehicle for our growing family—we had also gained a friend. Debra’s warmth, empathy, and dedication are rare, and we are so grateful to have had her by our side through this experience. Sales Manager Zach Gilbert played a huge role in making sure everything went smoothly, offering guidance and support every step of the way. And when it came time to talk numbers, Finance Manager Maksim Martemyanov made the financing process straightforward and stress-free. He walked us through all of our options clearly and honestly, making sure we felt confident and secure in our investment. We drove off the lot feeling not just like satisfied customers, but like part of the Doug’s Hyundai family. They treated us with kindness and respect, celebrated this milestone with us, and truly cared about getting us into a vehicle that fits our future. If you’re looking for a team that genuinely cares and makes buying a car feel exciting instead of intimidating, Doug’s Hyundai is the place. This was more than just a purchase—it was the start of something special. Thank you, Debra, Zach, and Maksim. We truly appreciated the top tier member service throughout the entire process!

I’ve owned this car for about 18 months. It has I bought it new and it now has about 17,000 miles on it. I love driving it. The safety features are excellent! The performance is good. I’m getting around 32 MPG for all around driving. I have the car maintained at the dealership and haven’t had any mechanical issues. I would definitely recommend this car.

2025 Subaru Forester review
My first Subaru although each of my kids had a used one as their first cars. Very well made, It is quite comfortable but I wish the seats went up a little bit more. I bought the Premium model and it has everything you could ask for. Handles great, has more than enough oomph, and I am averaging around 26.5 mpg in mostly city driving. Took a 200 mile out and back trip, and averaged 34.8 mpg. I will certainly buy another Subaru when it is time, usually every 2-3 years.

2020 Subaru Forester review
The Forester is the first SUV I ever owned. It has had a few issues, but the dealership, Kenny Ross in Irwin Pa, has always been top notch in customer service. First issue was the orignal tires went bald after only 10,000 miles. I called Kenny Ross and they said they would contact corporate. Got 4 new tires at no charge. Next issue I did not even know I had. Took it in for an oil change and they tell me I need a new CVT. Didn't know I had a problem. No charge again. Last issue was a radio that kept giving an error message and would not work. Took four visits to isolate the problem, but now have a new radio that brings in more stations. Again for free. Highly recommend the bumper to bumper warranty. Money well spent.

2021 Subaru Forester review
[Most satisfied] All imported, all full-time four-wheel drive, horizontally opposed engine. [Most dissatisfied] The car system is too old. Without Carplay, Carlife is also more laggy. [Space] The wheelbase is 2670, and I sit at 1.78 in the front, so there is enough space in the back and plenty of space in the trunk. [Power] It is very easy to overtake within 0-100. [Control] The horizontally opposed engine is blessed with full-time four-wheel drive, and it drives like a car. Braking performance: The automatic brake is a bit sensitive, [fuel consumption] It has only driven more than 300 kilometers. At high speed, the fuel consumption is 12L. Everyone said that if it is within 10, it will fall off after going out for a self-driving tour and running at high speed in the later period.i got this car from idealauto last year ,that was a marvelous experience . that dealer so reliable .

Mitch went above and beyond to make buying her first car a positive experience for our daughter- and me! I am across the country, so I relied heavily on him for honesty and insight in the process. He treated her like family, communicated brilliantly with me and made sure it all went smoothly. He is trustworthy, kind, and incredibly good at his job! Days after, when she had a fluke incident with a tire, Mitch even paid for the replacement. He deserves a standing ovation and 5 STARS! Cheers to Mitch! Angela

I recently had my car stolen and totaled. I actually work for the dealership and enjoy the work I do with the company. Mr krohn has been helping me out for the past month and a half with a car. It has been difficult but with the patience and time he has given my mom and I, I could not be more grateful for him! He worked with my mom and I till the very end and has been nothing but helpful. I ended up getting a 2019 subaru forester. Lots of room and a perfect vehicle into the middle of my adult life. I hope this car lasts me through the next few years. Thank you Mr Steve Krohn for your hard work and the kindness you have shown us.

2025 Subaru Forester review
Bought this car and took off for a 2000miles trip so learned along the way, Not a speed demon but enough to get into traffic and gas mileage is great...over 30 on highway. my only complaint was I couldn't see during a bad storm because the center screen was so bright it was blinding me and had to turn it off. I have over 15000miles on it and owned for over a year and I would buy another one,
