Hello, Because of the conditions of our roads in Westchester I was looking for a car that could keep up with the latest "pot holes". When I asked around one place and name kept coming up on a consistent basis. Everyone said to go to Stamford Subaru. When I did go I was introduced to Robert Fuch, and boy was I glad I spoke to him. He did not pressure me or my family in any way, and his professionalism is top notch. He takes his time and tries to understand your needs and what you expect from the car. He is a wonderful person to know and to have dealt with. Yes his recommendation on which type of car for my family and me was 100% dead on. We have already taken one mini-vacation (3 days) in the car and it drove and handled the road like a dream, just like he said it would. I am looking forward to take a 2-week driving vacation in 8 weeks in the car. If you are looking for a car and asked me whom I would buy my next car from I would not hesitate to say STAMFORD SUBARU and see ROBERT FUCH! I have 2-pinched nerves in the center of my back so a car ride anywhere is a new degree of pain. I explained the type of ride my back needs, the type of family car we need and he suggested and explained to me what type of car I should try. I suggested another car and he told me why that car would not be a good choice, but said we would try both cars. The ride was several left and rights, and over some bumpy roads.... even 2 potholes, and you know what? NO PAIN! It was the first ride I took that did not require a painkiller when I got out. I was so comfortable in that car that I did not want to try the other car. Since I did not want to test-drive the other car he suggested to just sitting in the other car in the show room to feel the difference on my back. Needless to say he was 100% dead on and I am very happy with my new car.

This newly-opened Subaru dealership is DEFINITELY the one to go to if you are looking to buy a Subaru. The staff has set out to change the paradigm of car buying/selling, and have done away with all of the superfluous nonsense that one normally has to deal with in order to finally come to an agreement on the terms. They bottom line it for you without the back and forth hassle of taking trips to the ???back office??? (that doesn???t exist) to speak with a manager (who actually went home 4 hours ago). They truly have changed the experience for their customers. Fair. Honest. REAL. Three words one NEVER commonly uses to describe a car salesman, or the dealership for which he/she works. But it's true. I leased my new 2019 Legacy from them, and they REALLY took care of me. I don't care where you live - this dealership is worth the trip. And once you experience what it's like to buy/lease a car with this professional, motivated, and innovative young staff, you will not likely want to shop anywhere else. They kept every promise they made, didn't try to sell me something I didn't want (or need), and answered every question I had. A special shout out to Michael Dymnicki for all that he did to help us, and for knowing us BY NAME whenever we stopped in to see if my car was on the lot yet. He was just so, so nice. Thanks, Mike! And another thank you to Nino Tiburzi (sorry if I spelled it wrong) for making the process so much less painful, and for keeping all of your promises to me. Thanks Nino! I have been very happy with this car over the past year and 10,000 miles. It is surprisingly fun to drive...even more so in the winter with tires one can trust in ice and snow (OEM tires wouldn't stop the car on wintry road and I replaced them). Great city car and good interstate road trip car too, sometimes getting high 30s mpg at 70 mph. Engine always willing. Handling is great. I can load my bike in back without its front wheel, seats down, or a mower with the handle folded down. Infotainment center is bland, but I have a newer Honda where I find the same to be aggravating. The Impreza is quite low to the ground, so I need to consider that around snow berms and rutted roads; the Crosstrek is the answer to that, if you drive in rural and rougher roads. It is always a treat to get in the driver's seat and go for a spin.

This is my second vehicle purchased from Vroom in the last 12 months, and I can't imagine ever buying a used car from a brick-and-mortar dealership again. Vroom offers a terrific selection of late model used vehicles. The pictures really make it easy to know what the car looks like. I purchased a 2015 BMW 5-series, and the Vroom price compared to a similar make/model/mileage vehicle from CarMax was $3,000+ cheaper. I selected my vehicle over a few weeks of looking at photos. Better Service Center than some luxury car dealerships

Well, I had another chance to use this dealership and I must say, Grand Prix's motto "We will satisfy you" definitely applies here. Unfortunately, our new Subaru Legacy, which me and my mom love, was recalled with about 51,000-52,000 2016-2017 Legacy/Outback models due to a possible problem with the steering problem. Unfortunately, this meant that my car would have to go into the dealership for service in order to fix it. Thankfully, I found Subaru of North America very proactive in getting information about the recall out there to the customers and at least I knew that Grand Prix would help me, as I had previous experience there when I shopped for our Legacy 3.6R Limited and found it to be an excellent dealership. Thankfully, this carried over to the service department, where a friendly and helpful representative was able to get me an appointment two days after the recall went out at 7:30AM, get me a loaner car (ended up being a rental from Hertz paid by Subaru, as the dealer ran out of loaners), and also have my car towed to the dealership two days before, as Subaru advised owners not to drive it. When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted by a gentleman named Kevin, who was helpful and pointed me in the right direction to my Service Advisor, Steve Shoum. I found him to be excellent and better than the Service Advisor who helped us at the luxury car dealership where we serviced our former luxury car, as we found Steve to be very friendly, knowledgeable about cars, and able to speak to the customer without making them feel stupid or being snarky, like at the dealership where we serviced our previous car. While I did have to wait a bit as Hertz in Hicksville did not open until 9:00AM and they needed to pick me up, as Grand Prix ran out of loaners due to the recall, things were still fine, as I found the service center to be very nice, as it looked upscale and delivered on being somewhat upscale, with many plush and comfortable chairs, large screen TVs, nice restrooms, free wifi, plenty of literature, and a very good selection of complimentary food and beverages, like bagels and all of the fixings, coffee, soft drinks, and fresh fruit. Throughout the process, I found all of the employees other than Steve who I have dealt with previously in the sales department, like Vinny Ortolani, the General Sales Manager who came by to say hi to all of the customers and chat, Emily, another Service Advisor, and all of the other employees to be very warm and efficient, which was fantastic! My car was at the service center for a week, as the part for the steering column was on back order and they wanted to inspect the car, but Steve continued to keep me updated throughout, which contrasts to our previous Service Advisor at the luxury car dealership, who left us in the dark and made it hard to call him, as we usually got his voicemail when we called the dealer. Also, he rarely called us with updates. Grand Prix also proved to be very accommodating, as Taylor, the representative in the Sales Department, was very helpful as she had my car wait in front of the Sales Department as I had to pick up my car a little after hours due to work. This was appreciated, as I feel like Grand Prix understands not everyone operates on their schedule. There was one minor hiccup in the experience, as the car was kind of dirty when we got it back, but it was resolved perfectly after we complained, as Dan Ross, the General Manager of the dealership, was understanding and wanted to make sure we we satisfied, as he offered us two vouchers to the Hicksville Car Wash, which was appreciated. Overall, I thought that Grand Prix's Service Department was excellent, as it put where we took our luxury car to shame thanks to their fantastic service and I would definitely recommend Grand Prix when I need to service my Legacy!
This so far has been a great daily driver car.

took my 2013 prius ( 126,000 miles )in for an inspection. other than oil changes and tires replaced at 75,000, there had not been any other maintenance. was told that car would pass inspection, but would need front and rear brakes "soon". at that point , I asked to have a sales person evaluate the car for trade worth as well as work up pricing on a potential new prius. Trish was attentive, listened to how I use the car--hi mileage--. based on rebates, tax credits etc..., she showed me how the prius prime would be my best option if I was looking to stay in the Toyota / prius family. did a bit if research, and within 2 weeks, drove away with the 2018.

This was the first enjoyable car buying experience I've had in a long time. There was no pressure, like wolves coming at you the moment you walked in the door. My salesman, Joe Lucci was relaxed and professional, really knew the product well, and listened well to my questions. Ted Hanlon the sales manager, came over to make sure I was being handled properly and that all my questions were being addressed. After all my questions were answered and I took another test drive, I decided to purchase the car. The car is great! A Subaru Forester. I'm on the road all the time. My gas bill, for the same amount of driving went down from $500 a month to $175 - $250. The gas saving is paying the monthly loan amount. You get free oil changes for a year which is great and the dealership has a special process for oil changes. You don't have to make an appointment. You just show up. So far my experience has been really good with Grand Prix. I don't see why it shouldn't continue. I've receive a call to make sure all is well and I appreciate that. I would highly recommend both Subaru and Grand Prix.

I first owned a 2013 impreza. I totaled it at 103,500 miles and bought a 2018 impreza with 7800 miles. You would think after 5 years Subaru would get their bluetooth connectivity issues fixed. But obviously not. I'm playing music in my car get out of my car with it still running, get back in my car put it in reverse and my phone randomly disconnects and will not reconnect until I restart the car. And heaven forbid you take your seat belt off a split second before you put it in park because it will beep like crazy even after it's in park! So stupid! I feel like my 2013 impreza was a little quicker as well. My 2013 had all the recall/lawsuit problems so hopefully the 2018 is better build quality . Other then those small problems it's been a great car and I like it.

I have been a proud owner of a 2015 WRX that I purchased at this dealership on Columbus Day in 2014. I received a reminder call to have my inspection sticker renewed so I stopped in the 1st of this month. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by Matt who was a super friendly guy and didn't put on the face like the ones that say I don't want to be here because it's for a paycheck. I expressed my concern the last visit I came in where I was told I was supposed to get a car wash voucher and never received it. During the wait he came out with a friendly expression and said "HERE IT IS!" Now that's what I call service with a smile! Later on he told me my car was ready and I didn't owe him anything today and wished me a happy holidays. The experience I got from him was phenomenal! A few days passed & I received a follow up call from him 7:38pm on my visit. Unfortunately, I was still working or I would have enjoyed speaking with him on my experience there! I would recommend seeing him for a future service visit!
Fabulous car, some downsides

To be honest, the car is great. It looks and feels great in and out. The seats are stylish and the dash is sleek and has a large touch screen (mines a Sport model). However, there are downsides. I love how cool the screen is, but not having buttons feels dangerous. I have to look down too much to hit the buttons since I can’t feel then like a regular radio/whatever. Secondly, whoever thought it was a good idea not to make he cup holders round is crazy. Half is curved, but then it’s straightens out to look like a short bullet shape. What this means is that no cup is secure and the drinks bounce around and when you learn about it it’s from spilling coffee all over in your brand new car cuz you went over train tracks. Third, the transmissions jerks sometimes when you let off the accelerator. When it downshifts you can feel the car since back as the transmission starts to stop the car when it should be saving energy by coasting. These I’m told are normal traits in the car. Lastly, the 28mpg city rating is false. I get 20 in the city driving like a grandpa. Apparently these things suck when the engine is could and my 2 miles commute sees the worst efficiency I can imagine for a brand new 4 cylinder with such a good rating. All in all though, I like it and it’s a sexy car.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

I drove this Subaru Sport Premium for 6 years. My first AWD car and I loved it! This car blew my Mazda 3 wagon out of the water. There was no comparison for driving in snow, ice and rain in New England. It was the mid model and I was very happy. Cloth seats were fine and comfortable, ample storage. Bluetooth was bad, and generally the cars Tech was sub par. My major complaint was the advertised 26 city / 37 hwy MPG. This estimate IS criminally wrong. Not even close, after 6 years the best combine was 25 MPG and that included round trip drives from Boston to Montreal with NO stop lights for 100s of miles. Also issue with 'wheel bearings' at the tune of $500. According to the mechanic, Subarus are know for this issue and this was only one rear wheel, uugh. But this car did me fine for 6 years and choose to trade up to a new brand and leave the awful MPG and 'wheel bearings' behind. I'll see how the Buick Encore goes for 6 years.

I bought a 2008 Jetta 2.5 and i love it!!! But the only problem I had it's to small for me try to get something bigger, From start to finish from the minute i walked in the door everyone was pleasant and helpful. i sat with the salesman and he walked me throught the process with ease. they got back to me the sameday with the bank approvals with an awesome interes rate and i picked it up the next day!!! Comfortable overall as both a driver and passenger. Fun to drive although having little power. Canadian winters are dominated by this car just like any other subaru. Hatchback version of the car is sporty looking and provides lots of cargo room with ththe option for folding back seats. Overall being my first car I so far love it. For those looking for an AWD car and are on a tight budget this car is for you.

Please note the 2018 Explorer Sport I recently leased through Hassett is the 4th vehicle I've obtained through your dealership within the past decade. The first vehicle I purchased outright and the last three vehicles were leased. The sales rep for the past two vehicles I've leased has been Mike Scannello. With the past two transactions Mike was extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly which made each transaction go extremely well and very smoothly. I originally stopped in to speak with Mike in regards to leasing a new vehicle earlier in October. When I returned on October 28th Mike knew exactly which vehicle and options I was interested in and he offered me several vehicles with different color combinations to choose from. I decided to go with another Explorer Sport only this time in white with a black interior so I placed a deposit on the car the very same day. The following day I returned with a bank check and received delivery of the vehicle. Due to Mike's professionalism and knowledge doing business with Hassett is truly a pleasure. My latest transaction with Mike and Hassett was by far the quickest and smoothest I've ever experienced during my lifetime of purchasing or leasing new Ford or Mercury vehicles. We looked for a smaller SUV, and the Subaru was a pleasant surprise. Aside from the fact that it comes with known Subaru reliability, it's fun to drive. The standard equipment is almost TOO much!! The safety features are incredible ( especially vs most American vehicles ). I would definitely recommend this vehicle to others!?

I came in having done my research, visited other dealerships and knew what I was looking for. When they didn't have my car in stock, salesman Mike Porcelli searched their certified pre-owned stock and found what I wanted. Although I intended only to buy new, it turned out to be a great suggestion; the Forester was loaded with more options at a lower price with about 4K miles on it. I examined & drove the car, checked the Car Fax and was satisfied. The negotiation, including a trade-in, went very smoothly and they ultimately gave me a good deal. Mike spent a lot of time explaining the car during the test drive and in the showroom. I got a good vibe from the entire dealership and enjoyed chatting with some of the staff. One thing to be aware of is on their standard sales agreement, they have a $795 Transportation & Dealer Prep Fee and a $299.50 Filing Fee pre-printed in the Price column, which makes it seem locked in. But if you read the fine print, these charges are negotiable and represent (in part) additional profit. They don't mislead you but they don't point it out either. Overall, it seemed like a good dealership with good people that have their act together.
First Subaru but not first AWD

I bought this yesterday Feb 1 2019 with 20,700 miles on it from the dealership at Southpointe Hendricks Subaru in Durham, NC. I think the dealership did not give a great deal. charged more than they should have. I got black Premium. The car seems higher than the sport model i tried in a different place which had everything on it. This one doesn't have the blind spot or auto braking before a collision and I think I should have had that. The car drives well but has a lot of body roll and some engine noise. Though outside noise is negligent. Brakes well and corners well as the turning radius is smaller than the legacy. It doesn't feel as planted as my BMW 2011 3 series with X Drive but that is a different category of car altogether. But for all the other cars in it's price range drives very well and looks stylish and classy in black as well as the AWD which even in if you have some snowy days in the winter is useful as well as in the rainy days in all the other seasons. I cannot say much of reliability as i have not owned it but one day. Hope it is. All in all, the affordability and the AWD and the safety that drew me to the first Japanese car I have bought. And no, not a BMW but drives well and I am satisfied.
