Although it's not a dragster, it's quick and fun to drive and it's easy to get over 30 mpg. Good for daily driver or just for fun.

2019 Subaru BRZ review
I own the manual transmission and I've driven the automatic transmission. Both setups are amazing. A very lightweight sports car with incredible handling, great fuel economy, and very inexpensive to maintain. If a do-it-yourselfer buys this car, the one difficult challenge with maintenance is the removal of the 4 spark plugs. It has a boxer engine so the spark plugs mount at the side of the engine which may be difficult to get to. It has a somewhat usable back seat, I've had family and friends sit in the back and it's tight but can be managed. I also have two baby seats mounted in the back which fit perfectly. The interior size is very close to a Porsche 911 for reference. And that's basically what this car is, a budget-friendly Porsche 911. Out of the 5 sports cars that I have owned the BRZ/FRS has be the best. Better than my 2 mustangs, BMW 335i, Camero, and a 996 Porsche 911. Although it has less horsepower than all of those cars, The handling, light weightiness, and the driving characteritics more than makeup for it. I plan on keeping mine for life.

2023 Subaru BRZ review
The Subaru BRZ is the most reasonable sport car with sufficient trunk room and a very small back. Seat, that can be folded down, if needed. The flat four cyl w/o turbo is enough. Power, 228 hp to make this a fun car to drive.

2022 Subaru BRZ review
The fun-to-dollar ratio is off the charts with the second-generation BRZ. The car offers tremendous handling, adequate power (a welcome upgrade from the first generation), great looks and quality fit and finish. I have the Limited edition with the upgraded interior and the seats are quite comfortable and the car is well set up for spirited driving. At this price point you aren't going to get a truly luxury interior, but the quality, appearance and comfort (but only for the front seat passengers!) that come with this car provide great value for the money. The rear seat is only suitable for carrying groceries, packages or small children. They are practically useless for holding adult passengers. Other quibbles are that the drink holders in the center console are in an awkward position and the sound system is really poor. If listening to music is an integral part of your driving experience, you will want to install an after-market system. Overall, however, this car is a home run. The driving experience takes me back to the days of the old British sports cars, but with massively improved performance, quality, comfort and reliability.

2020 Subaru BRZ review
I had a c5 Corvette coupe with low miles but I wanted something new(but I didn't want to spend 6 figures) that had relatively good gas mileage, a coupe, with great handling and fun to drive. I got all that plus with the back seat folded down there is plenty of cargo space for the 3 week road trip we are taking this summer. Thanks Romain Subaru for the great buying experience.

First, I'd like to say I'll never buy from a dealer (other than CarMax) again. This process was painless and positive. If you go to Renton - ask for TYSON - he was great. Laid back, informative, and what I value most - not pushy or slick. I told him some of the things I wanted in a car and he came up with the perfect choice for me. The signing took about 30 minutes and I was done. They filled up the tank - put a pretty bow on the car when I picked it up - and generally made me feel important and valued. I can't recommend this company enough!
2014 Subaru BRZ review
Took a used Brz automatic for a test drive and wow. I've driven heavily modified suspension/engine cars, german cars, fast fords, lexus, nissans but xxxx. The feeling you get from this car is fantastic. Handling and steering are so good from the factory it really makes up a lot for the missing ponies. Really though, it only needs a little more power. Not a turbo or supercharger. That would only blow up the price fast. Aftermarket bolt ons would liven it up. For the price its hard to beat. Sure you can not pick it's slow. Try to find this kind of steering handling outside of Porsche prices. Consider you'll have more fun below the speed limit than most and stay out of jail at the same time. So i went in already knowing what i wanted. Had my appointment already made and he was there waiting for me no issues. It was kind of strange to me how he didn’t know where the vehicles were so we had to go look for it. We walked for a bit then got into another vehicle to search for the vehicle. I think the lot and vehicle locations should be better situated. The buying process was easy and smooth. When the car was purchased i was waiting for a final cleaning and check of the car. This took forever. When i finally got the car. The inside of the windows were still dirty you can see the finger prints and the rear emblem had some chemical in it that oxidized the emblem. It took them a long time to seem like nothing had been done properly. I did appreciate the person helloing me to keep checking on me and letting me know the status instead of leaving me. The clean process and check process of the car needs to be better managed. It shouldn’t take that long for a half xxx job.
2015 Subaru BRZ review
I’ve owned multiple sports cars and this is one of the best in terms of value. It’s not the fastest in a straight line but that’s not what it’s designed for. It handles so well in the turns and is still comfortable for doing long road trips. They are super easy to modify and super easy to work on.

A fun car with performance features make it an excellent car in it's CLASS. Don't expect Corvette performance...remember what the BRZ is. Back seats are near worthless, but who cares.

2013 Subaru BRZ review
I own a 2013 subaru brz and I've had it for a year now and I will say I feel like I cheated the other guy, because my money went way further than I could've imagined. I'll keep it short and sweet. Handles amazing, huge community behind the car. I get compliments all the time. Simple interior yet easy on the eye. Has a very Analog feel to it. When you corner you can tell that this thing grips amazingly with even the stock tires. Huge aftermarket/ cheap parts. I've only had to change the oil and plugs because of the mileage my car has(70k) I decided to tune it up even though the plugs were still fine. Stereo sucked but fixed that problem pretty easily, hence the aftermarket. Torque dip around 4k rpm but uel headers and a tune fixed that. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and I can't stop putting miles on this car.

Was able to do a lot over the phone so the time spent in finance was minimal no waiting. The Sales person started the process of going over the car while we waited for the genius to finish with his prior client so I had no down time. I had a 2013 Scion FRS basically a BRZ until about a week ago but it was totaled in accident it proved to be a very safe vehicle it went endover into a cart wheel and I only have a broken hand wear a seat belt always
