2021 Chevrolet Equinox review
I had a 20/20 Equinox that I was traveling from Illinois to Florida. As I was getting back on 75 South I got rear-ended and throw a hundred feet. The car took the brunt of the hit my cat that was in the cage in the back never got hurt my dog that was tethered in the front seat never got hurt I got a small concussion with a bump on my head but overall I absolutely love the car. When I got reimbursed for my 20/20 I went out and bought another one I was so impressed with the impact it took for that crash.

2024 Kia EV6 review
I own a 2024 EV6 Wind AWD (traded in a 2012 Subaru Legacy Limited) and it’s probably the best car I’ve ever owned. And it can go 0-60mph in under 4½ seconds, which is on a par with some of my dream cars (Ferrari and Lamborghini from a few decades ago). Charging at home with a $150 charger that plugs into a regular power outlet is quick and adds power to the battery as I sleep. I have a YouTube channel where I post occasional videos, showing what it’s like to own an electric car in your silver-haired years. If you have questions, drop by and ask away.

2025 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid review
I would recommend this car for a single individual, maybe as a commuter or a teenage driver. I wouldn’t recommend for growing families. Four adults will not fit comfortably, it’s just too small. I wish I would have got the CX-70 but they’re just too expensive.

2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 review
This is our second GLC 300. We love the size and features for our needs (two people). Good mileage 27-29+ around town, 30-32 highway. Smooth ride, easy handling, and I think, nice styling. Newer models have larger screen and are more electronically controlled from the screen. Fields of Orange Park, Fl. has great Service, not cheap, "Mercedes" nuff said, but they will take care of you.

I recently purchased a Cadillac XTS from Bergstrom of Madison. My decision to purchase from Bergstrom was primarily a consequence of two factors: (1) the unparalleled quality of Bergstrom service that I received during the past five years with my Cadillac CTS-4, and (2) Josh Thiermann approaching me as I wandered around looking at newer Cadillacs as mine was being serviced. When I speak of Bergstrom "service", for me it begins and ends with Demetrius Salinas. Demetrius was my technician in most instances when I visited the dealership for routine maintenance (oil and filter changes, etc.) and on those few occasions when I had need for repair service (purchase of a new battery, etc.). On some occasions other service staff worked with me, and each of them did and exceptional job as well, but as fate would have it, Demetrius was my service technician for probably seventy-five percent of my service visits. He is very knowledgeable about the Cadillac brand, and he addressed and resolved satisfactorily every request or question that I submitted to him regarding my CTS-4. As I proceed with my XTS, I'm confident that Demetrius will continue in the same manner of working with me as he has in the past. With regard to Josh Thiermann, I had no intention of trading in my CTS-4 and purchasing an XTS. I just wanted to walk around the car lots and see the newer models of Cadillac, while waiting on service. Josh was very friendly and he answered every question that I had about cars. Although I informed Josh that I was not looking to purchase a vehicle, and that I was just waiting on the completion of service to my vehicle, he still was kind enough to walk me around the lot and show me car after car, and answer all of my questions regarding the cars. As fate would have it, I saw the XTS that I ultimately purchased and Josh made the transaction occur. His knowledge about the cars was incredible, his responsiveness to my likes and dislikes was honored without attempting to persuade me to change my point of view, and once I finally decided to make an offer on a vehicle, I truly felt that Josh was my advocate in the transaction. 2020 Cadillac XT4 review
We discussed with friends a solid American vehicle to serve as a daily driver and saw good bones with the distinctive exterior/interior design and technologically advanced XT4 Sport (20” wheels). The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine handles everyday driving and quick passing maneuvers without issue. The 9-speed automatic transmission is generally smooth but does seek the perfect gear, particularly in low-speed traffic. For many, the OEM setup may be just fine, however, we opted to “refine” a few of the Luxury & Sport options that the original owner passed on (we're the 2nd owners) and now enjoy climbing into the cockpit of this daily transporter! 2023 Kia Sportage review
after tons of research, started looking at the Kia suvs/sportage..I had driven Lexus RX, few other different luxury brands..I loved Kia’s warranty, 7r/10yr wow….even though owned cars and they NEVER required repair, but I do maintain and take care of my vehicles, first foremost regular oil/filter changes and sometimes even skipped a service check…so decided to test drive, I was pleasantly surprised it handled well, cabin quiet, hugs the ride, awesome sound system by H Kardon, suspension felt good( unlike last Lexus) it has all the bells and whistles, safety features. pep when needed, and gas mileage 27-up as high as 36 mph with sensible driving…oh yes 2 rear passenger has plenty of leg and head room, reclining rear seats even for 6ft + passenger was amazing surprise.. cargo area good size.. just could not find anything that turned me off the vehicle…so I bought one, and no regrets..

This was my second time purchasing a vehicle through Carmax. My first time, three years ago, was for myself purchasing and exact vehicle I wanted. I called ahead, was able to work through what I wanted, and re-directed to another location that had the exact vehicle I was looking for. No hassling about buying something from their specific location. Great customer service, the car was in excellent condition (as confirmed by the Volvo dealership I had it serviced at subsequently). I still have and love that car. My most recent experience was at Carmax in Madison, WI. I have been searching for a well-maintained used vehicle for my newly-licensed teen. With the used car market spiking, I've been monitoring my searches for months. The perfect vehicle (with everything both my teen wanted and I required from a safety perspective) popped up in New York. For a reasonable fee they were able to put the vehicle on hold and transfer it to my local dealership in WI. I was able to do the financing over the phone in advance of the vehicle's arrival. Once it arrived, I was notified and an appointment set to test drive. The car was exactly as described, in good condition and no hassling or negotiations needed. The prices are reasonable based on current market conditions with a set margin built in. The financing is a little on the high side, but they provide a 3 day window to bring in a check from your own lender so it makes it easy to balance the rate vs convenience (and GAP coverage). I had one issue with the vehicle after getting it home. I contacted the dealership and it was addressed within a half hour. I am absolutely happy with both my experiences at Carmax and would (and have) recommend them for your next vehicle.
2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid review
2024 RAV4 Hybrid XSE model is a great choice - interior road noise & front seats that do not glide back enough are my ‘wish I would have paid attention to’ regrets. If passengers are over 6’2” with long legs, they do not fit in the front seat comfortably & many times I feel like an Uber driver with them choosing the back seat when going distances. Hybrids make a lot of noise when backing up which can turn heads - this is normal so don’t be alarmed. Gas mileage is terrific & its sporty exterior is over the top. I do love it & recommend it if not concerned about the cons I have mentioned.

I have been looking for a new vehicle for about two months when last night I decided to look @ Goben online. I saw a few I liked so I inquired about them and Received a call in the morning from a number I wasn’t Familiar with, but I answered it, and it was Shane from from Goben. Immediately I knew I liked him, I said I’d be coming in in a couple hours and then I was interested in the Subaru when I got there he had it ready to test drive. We stood in tight for about 15 minutes and just really connected and I knew he wasn’t giving me a song and dance and he was straightforward. I felt instantly comfortable with him. We took it for a test drive then I test drove a Honda CRV. He then mentioned to look at a Volkswagen, Tigue, Juan, and I wasn’t thinking I liked that, but the minute I opened the door and sat in it I literally said “Dang, she’s pritaaay!!! The second, I drove it off a lot. I loved the comfort of it, The smooth ride and then get up and go that it had. It was trimmed out to the max. The sun and moonroof were amazing and all the bells and whistles were a bonus! When we got back, I said let’s look at what the payments would be after my down payment. After a little bit, I ended up meeting Krystal, Her dog Charger, a very chill German Shepherd and her dad Don. I instantly felt comfortable with all of them and small hometown service was incredible. They were straightforward and honest, and never felt that they were giving me some sort of song and dance. I then met the original owner Don’s mother, and she was just adorable and a pleasure to work with. Shane was like somebody I knew my entire life and I will refer him to everyone I know. They even followed me home to Waunakee with my new vehicle and another salesman came to give him a ride back home. I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Goben!!! Thank you!!! 2026 Kia Sportage review
Honestly one of the best vehicles I’ve owned so far. My Kia Sportage has been super reliable, comfortable on long drives, and surprisingly good on gas. 2015 Chevrolet Equinox review
I bought my Equinox new off the lot in 2015 to be my winter driving car. I’ve had it for 10 years, and have driven it 60 miles round-trip in some of the worst winter weather in the lower 48 states. The Equinox held the road well on ice, in slush, and in deep snow on days that I was on the road before the snow plows. It has always been reliable and has never left me stranded. I’ve had no major issues in over 107,000 miles. I appreciate the cargo space which is much better than the newer models. I regularly recommend Equinoxes to my friends and family.

2024 Lexus NX 350 review
2024 NX 350 F Sport has some great options I didn't know I'd ever need. Being able to customize just about everything is great. The Lexus system itself is easy to use but takes getting used to coming from a 2019 Jeep Compass Sport. Heads-up display, the large display screen is great, although I will say the climate controls are a bit awkward to use. It's easy enough to turn off, but turning it on is another issue. The safety features are awesome, from not being able to open the driver door if traffic is coming from behind to the lane assist, I am super happy with it. The F Sport has some giddy-up that is no joke, there are settings you can utilize; Eco, Normal, Sport, and Sport +. Each one has its advantages and disadvantages, but all are top-notch. The interior has a beautiful, sleek design that screams luxury. The only thing it is missing is the panoramic sunroof I am used to. That being said, I am very happy with my purchase.

2025 Toyota RAV4 review
Bought my XLE premium FWD RAV4 towards the end of 2025 before non-hybrid powertrains were discontinued. I’m old school and didn’t want the hybrid driving experience or system. Couldn’t be more pleased with the vehicle after a year of ownership and look forward to many years of driving pleasure. Anyone in the market for a similar non-hybrid vehicle-do yourself a favor and pick a 2025 model year RAV4, you’ll be glad you did so.

We did everything via email until the last day when I called. They sent me exact numbers so I could review. I drove up on a Saturday morning and left with my SUV in 1 hour. 2021 Honda CR-V review
Roomy , great gas mileage. Only problem is loud road noise, sometimes problem connecting phone to radio. Heat and air work really good. Nice interior, window fogs a lot.

2023 Toyota RAV4 Prime review
We had a totally electric Mustang Mach E which we traded for this car since the range and infrastructure both were not ideal. The Toyota RAV4 Prime is the best of both worlds since it is a plug-in hybrid and is the car I should have purchased originally. It gets between 44 - 50 miles on totally electric charge (for around home) and about 500 miles on a fill up of the gas tank (hybrid used on the highway). Pricing was NOT ideal as they added a "Market Adjustment" to the price so it was above MSRP.

2022 Kia Sportage review
Excellent car ,no problems with 33 K miles. Rides quite and very solid. Interior seems to be top quality material. Radio is nice and great sound. No chips on exterior paint. Tires are exceptional. I hit some large holes in the roads and the tires are fine. Car has nice little features like dual sliding roof. There are other features like 4 different driving modes, lighted door handles on outside. There are other things. I will keep this for 2 more years.

2019 Lexus UX 200 review
This is a great car. Reliable. Fun. Easy to drive. Easy to park. Easy on gas. And looks great! I fit so many things in there when I moved my apartment. The roof rack is perfect for my surf board. And I can fit 4 bikes on the car. And you can add a tent to the roof too.
