I had been shopping for a replacement car for several months. After trying at least 5 different dealerships, mainly in Michigan, I found a Passat listed for sale at Gurley Leep Motorwerks. I test drove two of them but decided against both. Joel must have paid attention to what I was looking for and my desired budget. He contacted me about a Passat they brought back in off of a lease agreement and let me see it before it was all cleaned up. None of the other dealerships gave me this type of consideration. It turns out this other Passat was exactly what I wanted, and Gurley Leep worked with me to get it to fit into my desired price range. I am a VERY happy/satisfied customer. I keep my cars for an average of 10 years, but I will definitely come back here when I need to get a vehicle. Dear reader: highest recommendation! And I don't give that rating very often.
2022 Ford Bronco Sport review
I have a '22 Base. My wife and I love it. We needed a 4x4 when we move to a more rural state and although we're generally happy with the vehicle, we can't help roll our eyes of the number of recalls and reliability questions surrounding the model. Had I known about the difference in the 1.5L to 2L engines, I'd have opted for the 2L engines, but that's only available at the top trimmed Badlands. This is almost the perfect vehicle for a two person household who has a dog, likes to take day trips and it pretty good on fuel economy (32mpg over 15k miles). The interior is pretty cheap, however. I would recommend the vehicle, however, but only with the 2L engine and only with a warranty. There are just too many concerns with this vehicle to own it without a warranty

2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited review
I purchased this Jeep brand new in 2012 as a 2013 Model, I have since put 150,000 miles on. It is a Jeep and can get a little uncomfortable on long highway drives. I took this on a 3 week coast to coast road trip across the US I would know. It does a great job towing my 20foot i/o boat to and from the lake, but wouldn't recommend long trips with that much to tow. Maintenance has been astonishingly low, the only things I needed was regular oil changes, brakes, and a radiator leak that was covered under warranty. This is one of the best all around vehicles, top down cruising in the summer and 4x4 for the snowy PA winters.

2018 Chevrolet Equinox review
2018 2.0T AWD with 172k miles on it and it is going STRONG. Bought it used with 31k miles. Zero major issues but I've maintained it religiously, oil and transmission oil changed regularly. Spark plugs and coils had to be switched out at 130k miles but that's expected. Transmission is running strong and still sounds as great as the day I bought it.

2017 Ford Escape review
This vehicle has been awesome from the day I first started driving it. Great on gas, engine is very responsive and reliable. A/C is very cold and the starts so nicely every time. The engine has all the power you would ever need. This one is a 2.0 Turbo. I have kept this car serviced regularly and it has performed flawlessly.

2019 Chevrolet Equinox review
The 2019 Chevy Equinox Premier 2.0 AWD is great overall. The 2.0 liter model is very reliable on the freeway and works wonderfully for family trips with children as the back seat is quite comfortable. The 1.5 liter model struggles to get up to freeway speeds in our prior test drive, but it doesn't feel like that at all with the 2.0 liter. The Bose Premium Audio does not have a subwoofer, but the speakers have a deep low range and provide the feeling of a full audio experience. It's quite entertaining when you are jamming out at high volume and your pantleg is rattling from the door speaker. Issue 1. The front seats are rather short leaving 4-5 finger widths from the end of the seat to the back of the legs which results in your legs feeling like they are dangling off the seat, whereas you want something closer to 2-3 finger widths. I am average height of 5'9", so this would be more uncomfortable for taller people. The passenger seat specifically presses into your right leg causing it to start to go numb after 30 minutes, so long road trips in the front passenger seat are quite uncomfortable. Issue 2. I have the 2.0 Premier AWD with every bell and whistle available, and it still "feels" like I am surrounded by plastic. I understand that Chevy is not a luxury brand, but the max comfort trim leaves much to be desired. Issue 3. The Adaptive Cruise feature will randomly disable itself in clear weather. It rarely happens, but it seems to happen for no obvious reason. Disabling Cruise Control and re-enabling it resolves the matter, so it is a minor annoyance more than anything. 2020 Chevrolet Equinox review
I’ve had 3 of this generation Equinox since they came out in 2018, and I got rid of the other ones just because I wanted something else. This time I got a Premier 2.0T AWD. It only had 33,000 miles on it and I’ve only had it a few weeks but so far so good. The 2.0T should’ve been the only motor this car came with!

2024 Ford Escape review
I’ve had extreme trouble getting into and out of the vehicle because the floor is so deep to the door. I now have a permanently injured knee. The doors don’t open wide enough for my knee that doesn’t bend completely. That causes me discomfort. Senior people can’t always bend their joints enough to get into and out of this vehicle. But I do love how it handles and also the great features.

2025 Ford Bronco Sport review
I have had my Bronco Sport Big Bend for 6 months now and has far exceded my expectations! It is amazing in winter conditions of snow and ice, has a great power boost race mode which amazes me since mi e has the 1.3L engine. I average 30mpg without babying it and seat comfort, space, sunroof/moonroof is great. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a 4×4 SUV.

2019 Cadillac XT4 review
I have had this 2019 Cadillac xt4 for 6 years… during the 4th year someone hit me… the 5 years someone hit me… then I started having issues… I argued with the people at Larson Cadillac about my warranty and the didn’t one to honor it because I had 1 oil change somewhere else besides Cadillac… but I put my attorney on them and got my warranty granted…now it been about 8 months later now my check engine light is back on saying engine speed reduced… so I don’t know what’s the problem…
