2024 Subaru Solterra review
Great car if you don't go on long trips. Half an hour to and from work needs charging once a week with a regular 120 volt outlet. If you drive more, plug it in every night. Or get a 240 volt outlet and charge it twice as fast. In the winter, the range is less because we like the seats and steering wheel nice and warm. The regenerative break mode doesn't take much getting use to and saves wear on the mechanical breaks. We love everything about this car.

2017 Hyundai TUCSON review

2023 Ford Escape review
For those of you that don't like the over reliance on the computer dash for things like the AC.. Ford did not start doing that till mid 2023.. when looking at 2023 models, look carefully at the dashboard. some have a smaller computer screen and the 2 knobs and buttons that regulate the AC. those are the ones you want.. they also are $4-5K cheaper than the models that have the larger screens and no physical AC buttons so win-win.

2018 Subaru Forester review
Great value considering the superior safety features, low maintenance and reliability. Rear wheel bearings have been replaced twice and just had the AC compressor and serpentine belt replaced. Albeit expensive repairs, all cars need something after the first 3 years. It's been 8 years and the car still run and drives like new.

2022 Ford Bronco Sport review
I have a '22 Base. My wife and I love it. We needed a 4x4 when we move to a more rural state and although we're generally happy with the vehicle, we can't help roll our eyes of the number of recalls and reliability questions surrounding the model. Had I known about the difference in the 1.5L to 2L engines, I'd have opted for the 2L engines, but that's only available at the top trimmed Badlands. This is almost the perfect vehicle for a two person household who has a dog, likes to take day trips and it pretty good on fuel economy (32mpg over 15k miles). The interior is pretty cheap, however. I would recommend the vehicle, however, but only with the 2L engine and only with a warranty. There are just too many concerns with this vehicle to own it without a warranty

2022 Chevrolet Equinox review
I want people to know what a great buying experience I had at this dealership. I contacted 4 dealerships about 4 different cars, and Yassin F. was the only one that contacted me by phone, instead of a "canned" email. Yassin was so helpful and ran all over this large dealership (in the rain) to make sure things were just right. I would use Yassin again 100%. 2023 Subaru Forester review
Overall, at 60k miles, I’ve had no problems and am very happy. I average around 34 mpg’s with mixed driving. I’m happy with the acceleration as well, even though Subaru’s without a turbo are sometimes labeled as slow. I have no problem merging onto highways. The Forester is an easy to live with SUV/car. The rear room is adequate, although the CRV offers about 10 cubic feet more rear capacity. Visibility is excellent. The CVT is smooth and has simulated shifts, just make sure you change the fluid every 30k! I own the Limited with leather seats that are very comfortable. Sometimes the response time on the radio/touch screen can feel a little delayed. I also opted for the dimming driver/rear view mirrors which is great during winter commuting. It saves your eyes from glare. Very view cars offer this which is why I went with the Subaru. My only “major” complaint with the car is a slight rattle coming from the dash board area. It isn’t always there, but is present enough to bother me. Aside from that it is an excellent vehicle and value for the money!

I recently had an extremely positive experience at Jim Shorkey Mitsubishi in North Hills. Having just retired, I was interested in a small hatchback and eventually they set me up with a pre-certified 2021 Mirage with about 50,000 miles on it and I got a great price. The process was seamless from my initial outreach to the General Sales Manager Bill Driscoll via email to this person then setting me up with John Barbour as my official sales representative. John was great, very attentive, and offered excellent customer service. It’s just great to have a dedicated person walk you through everything related to the car and contract and also provide honest estimates of how long the process takes. Most importantly, John was very patient and extremely helpful when we encountered a couple of very minor issues. Kudos also to the whole team I dealt with, from Melisa who greeted me in such a friendly manner to Corey Davidson (Sales Manager) and Dakota Carson in sales. Lastly, its’ definitely worth noting that they have a very collaborative and friendly culture, and there’s obviously a priority there to building a sense of community. I know how corny and cliché it sounds to describe a business culture as “family-like,” but it is nice to engage with people at a business who genuinely seem to like each other and enjoy providing exceptional service to customers. 2023 Mazda CX-50 review
Have the 2025 CX-50 in white premium addition. Often think whether I should have bought the turbo as I wish I had some more power, but I didn’t want to give our insurance a reason to hike rates. It gets the job done and in style. Interior is nicely finished but I’ve experienced many little rattles from instrument cluster, A pillar, mounted Bose speakers, etc. lots of felt tape was needed to mitigate. Technology is the major con here. Constantly have to reconnect Bluetooth so I just plug it in now all the time. Wireless phone charger never works - it overheats seemingly after two minutes and stops working. At times the tailgate buttons seem to get confused and don’t know what you’re asking it to do. And the way the doors all lock / unlock together can be frustrating and I’ve learned that it depends on how many times you hit the disarm / unlock button on the key fob. Finally, memory seats never worked since buying it new, and I’m too lazy to bring it in all day for that. I like the car but I’m not sure I’ll get into another one after my time is up with it.

2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 review
I am a senior citizen and I want to feel secure while driving, and the SUV gives me that. I am on the short side so getting in and out was a new experience for me, but I learned how to manage it. Once, I found the seat setting the visibility is exceptionally good. It handles nicely on the road with quick pick-up, and the gas mileage is about average.

2022 Ford Bronco Sport review
Always loved ford. Had two rangers which were gas pigs but they would go through any cold Canadian winter with ease. Had a jeep which gave me not alot of issues but one major electrical issue. Got rid of it and got my bronco. I absolutely love it. Great in the snow and the look of them is just beautiful.

2025 Subaru Crosstrek review
I love my crosstrek limited.I only have 2 complaints but it not really the car its my prefrence. I have always had cars that the doors locked automatically when you left it as long as you had the key.The cross trek doesnt have that and it drives me insane.I am forever forgetting to lock it by the door handle or key fob.My second complaint is it has heated everything except the steering wheel.I like that in the winter but other than that its a great car so far.I have only had it a month so Im not sure how it handles in the snow yet.

The equinox is very nice for the price. My biggest complaint is has a horrible suspension. I even lowered air pressure in the tires below the recommended pressure and the ride was no better. You feel every little bump in the pavement.

Overall a great SUV. You cannot beat the power, handling and comfort that this totally electric model offers. By far the best-driving and smoothest SUV I have ever owned or driven. Excellent refined styling, Q8 amenities including dash/entertainment system. Range on this model could be better. I’m averaging 160 - 180 miles on a charge (I only charge to 80% based on manufacturer’s recommendation). Also, like most electric vehicles, you do pay a premium.
