2025 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid review
I would recommend this car for a single individual, maybe as a commuter or a teenage driver. I wouldn’t recommend for growing families. Four adults will not fit comfortably, it’s just too small. I wish I would have got the CX-70 but they’re just too expensive.

2025 Hyundai TUCSON Hybrid review
Great everyday ride. Not a sports car by any means but has features that no other suv in its size and price can match. Leather seats are uninspiring - suggest they go synthetic with a nicer look and feel. Acceleration of hybrid is very good and appreciate no CVT tranny - prefer the traditional 6speed and front/back drive with no electric motor separately motoring the rear. This is my wife’s car and 2nd in 2 years - upgraded to the hybrid limited because the base engine is a dog and gets terrible mpg.

It was my old cars time to go (Gloria) at work my coworker brought up CarMax as he just got a new pickup truck from them. My partner and I scheduled an appointment for a viewing Wednesday the 6th. I had to keep adding water to my car so she can take us there. I was nervous as this was my first time purchasing a car. IT WAS THE CAR IVE BEEN WANTING :) and Elijah Combs was our representative. He had great hospitality, customer service skills, had an amazing slime and over all made the experience of our first time comfortable and exciting!! ( I definitely had that anxiety lol) no tricks, no games. He helped us with getting set up with full coverage insurance and making sure we get our registration. 2017 Honda CR-V review
2017 Honda CRV Touring, purchased new. Average 34mpg, AWD, 75,000 miles. Only problem is every other month, the dashboard screen flickers uncontrollably until car is turned off. Other than that this vehicle has been 100% reliable with zero mechanical or other electrical issues.

2019 Toyota RAV4 review
I’ve had this SUV for 1 1/2 years. I love it! Is is fun and easy to drive. It is comfortable and has adequate space for 4 passengers. We sometimes haul 5, but the backseat gets tight for that. Mine is getting approximately 29 mpg on midgrade fuel. Love the pushbutton start, lane keep assist, blind spot monitor, controls on steering wheel, rear hatch open and shut buttons, hands free talk, and huge display screen. Toyota could do better with the door handle touch to lock and unlock. Mine don’t work as well as expected. It also has a very annoying ding to warn when the roads may be icy that we apparently cannot turn off. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 on performance due to acceleration rate. It makes big noise like it’s going somewhere, but doesn’t really accelerate exceptionally well. It also shifts oddly sometimes. I notice it mostly when you slow down, but don’t stop ( think yield sign). It will jerk pretty hard when you accelerate from low speed. Overall it is a great little SUV with many bells and whistles for it’s price point. It feels very safe and reliable.

2015 Honda CR-V review
One year and 37,000 miles later, my 2015 Honda CR-V EX-L, purchased from Bill Kay Honda, has exceeded all expectations! I bought this gem with 50,000 miles on the clock, and it's been nothing short of a dream. Dependability is the name of the game here – this car hasn't skipped a beat. Gas mileage has been consistently impressive, making both city commutes and long road trips a breeze. As expected with any vehicle of this mileage, routine repairs have been standard, but nothing out of the ordinary. The EX-L trim package adds a touch of luxury with its leather interior and upgraded features, making every drive comfortable. The spacious interior and ample cargo space have been perfect for everything from grocery runs to weekend getaways. Having finally taken the plunge into the Honda world, I now understand the rave reviews from my mechanics. This CR-V has proven its worth, and I'm a loyal Honda convert for life! I want to specifically mention the excellent service I received at Bill Kay Honda, especially from my salesman, Bert Tvrz. The sales process was smooth and transparent, and Bert went above and beyond to answer all my questions. He even called the previous owner to track down the owner's manual, which was incredibly helpful. Even a year later, I'm still thrilled with my purchase. I felt that they were honest and upfront about the car, and that is very important to me. Tip: If you're looking for a reliable, fuel-efficient, and comfortable SUV, the 2015 Honda CR-V EX-L is a fantastic choice. Regular maintenance will keep it running smoothly for years to come. 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid review
I’ve had many Subarus in the past, but wanted a hybrid vehicle. So glad I did with these gas prices! I’m getting 41mpg right now. My favorite things are the trunk kick open feature, my hands are always full. I love the heated steering wheel too. I have the flat matte gray color, I receive lots of compliments and color hides dirt well. Handles well on road, drives nicely. Only thing I would change is size of cup holders, they are small.

April, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with purchase of our used Honda. Within a day or so discovered faulty VTC Actuator. We are from out of state and had to remain in area for repairs during the worst of the wildfires. But the amazing service manager Celine ( who was also covering jobs for absent co- workers) seemed to be able to make magic happen!!!! Within 30 minutes determined it was a repair that had to done at a local Honda dealer, arranged a ride to our RV for us, had our car taken to the Honda dealer. Knowing we could leave town and the awful smoke when the car was fixed she said she'd try her best to get our car back to us the next day which was a sat.( and her day off). Gave us her personal cell no. and set up in computer the details for our return ride to Carmax. Sat. was moving on but one call to Carmax for an update, they saw Celine had arranged everything for us to get our car on Sat. and BAM, magic happened!! Had our car within an hour, repairs completed, and we headed home to Florida. 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E review
My first EV car. Not sure if I love this car or the fact that it is an EV. What makes this a bit different from a Tesla is that it still reminds you of a regular car in terms of gear shifting controls and displays. My car is a premium trim, dual motor and long range battery extension, so if you get a lower trim, the experience might be slightly different.

This 5 stars in for one employee in particular. Tim Gardner in the service dept. My little story... I had recently purchased my vehicle on April 1 & had to return it on April 4th due to the speakers, window and a little idle. It was now 4/16/2018 and my car was still not finished because the speakers were missing a part that need to come from Korea, they told me my car would be finished no later than Monday and that was a promise...So long story short everyone I spoke with said they would call me back and help me figure this out and no one did, they called with the same info about waiting for a part but no new news. Thankfully I called in 4/17/18 to check on my vehicle on when the part will be in and Tim (which was my first time speaking with i'm through these couple of weeks.) and he said the part was scheduled to arrive on 4/24/18 I was furious. Here I am driving loaner cars and not even able to enjoy my new car for a whole month. He listened to me and quickly went into action and said I am going to help you, we are going to fix this. Literally in 2 hours he called back said that they can get my car to a certain place and they can do it if I agree and also offered me a couple of other things and said I will get your car to you by today or tomorrow after he explained this to a manager. All in two hours! and I couldn't get a straight answer for two weeks! Tim called me when it left car max and when it came back and tested the stereo for me himself! He completely turned my whole experience back to a positive one again and now I am truly happy he went above and beyond and keep his word! He was very kind and put actions to his words! He is definitely the highlight of my week! now I can drive my new car thanks to TIM Gardner.! Thank you TIM! You don't know how happy we are!
2024 Subaru Solterra review
Great car if you don't go on long trips. Half an hour to and from work needs charging once a week with a regular 120 volt outlet. If you drive more, plug it in every night. Or get a 240 volt outlet and charge it twice as fast. In the winter, the range is less because we like the seats and steering wheel nice and warm. The regenerative break mode doesn't take much getting use to and saves wear on the mechanical breaks. We love everything about this car.

2023 Toyota RAV4 review
Great Car! I bought used only 10,000 miles. Lots of room inside, easy to keep clean, and great turning radius - barely use one hand to turn completely around. I see people turning with 2 hands and leaning! Not the Rav - you just guide it. Always starts, low idle, quiet, and everything adjustable. I had another Rav, and I won't change now.

2023 Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric review
I’ve owned my 2023 Volvo C40 Recharge Ultimate for about a month now, and it’s been nothing short of impressive. The design immediately stands out with a modern, sculpted look that feels unique on the road. Mine is in Thunder Grey with the Fjord Blue interior, and the combo turns heads everywhere. Performance-wise, it’s quick and quiet with instant torque that makes merging and city driving effortless. The one-pedal drive is smooth once you get used to it, and the all-wheel drive gives me confidence in any weather. Inside, the cabin feels luxurious yet understated. The Fjord Blue interior with backlit panels creates a calm, high-end atmosphere. Google built-in is convenient, though it can lag at times. The Harman Kardon sound system is crisp and full, and the panoramic glass roof makes the cabin feel bright and open. For now, I charge at Tesla Superchargers for convenience. A charger was actually installed in my high-rise the day after I bought the car, but it’s not operable yet. I’m looking forward to using it once it’s active. The range has been consistent in real-world use, and I appreciate Volvo’s focus on sustainability without sacrificing comfort or performance. If I had to nitpick, I’d say some software features could be more refined, and visibility through the rear window is limited, but the 360° camera helps a lot. I installed a digital rearview mirror through the Volvo dealer where I purchased my car. Overall, the C40 Recharge feels like a personal luxury cocoon. It’s quiet, confident, and thoughtfully designed. It’s a car that makes me look forward to driving every day.

Jake, my rep, was really the workhorse though. Jake took notes of everything I said I wanted, but then took it several steps further and brought up features I didn’t even know I needed! I thought Tesla held the title for longest range, until he introduced me to Lucid, which I test drove the 2023 Lucid Air… incredible. I needed some “hand holding” to figure out what I wanted, but Jake did that for me and I’m grateful.

2021 Volkswagen ID.4 review
I had multiple problems with infotainment screen which were finally resolved with replacement at 3.5 years. Car is solid, a joy to drive ....a true tight German machine. so many nice features, handling, turning radius, quiet comfort, visabiltiy and still solid after 4 years. the software may have some needs but the car is great. I am out of warranty and kept the car. It has been dependable after replacement of the screen. The price for a new one is now too high so I purchased an extended VW warranty.
