2018 Toyota Highlander review
The transmission failed at 112,000 miles and it costs me $8500 to repair. I expect Toyota Highlander transmission would last at least 200,000 miles but I found out that the transmission is not made in Japan like my old Highlander, but it was made in the USA. People who buy Toyota expect major components such as engine, transmission, are made in Japan with zero defects, but when major components are made in the USA, quality suffers.

2012 INFINITI QX56 review
Owned it for 10 years and has been a joy to drive. Handles great in the snow, plenty of space for passengers and/or cargo, and no major problems. Great looking SUV that has been extremely dependable. Very happy with our purchase.

2017 Toyota Highlander review
I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. Everyone from the Sales-person, finance and even the Technicians. were friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. They even went above and beyond making sure I got the best loan that fit me. I love my highlander and just got back from Myrtle Beach SC, driving round trip. It is so fun to drive and all the room is unbelievable. I highly recommend both the highlander and Alton Toyota dealership!

2021 Lexus LX 570 review
I had to get this LX570 since it is the last year of the mighty 5.7L V8. Traded my GX460 for it and while GX was a very nice truck, this one is on a whole different level. Comfort? Superb! Power? Gobbles of it! Seating position? Supreme! Fuel economy? LOL! If you buy a 5.7L V8 4WD 6000lbs SUV and worry about fuel economy - you just bought a wrong car! Sell it and buy a Prius! If it remains reliable I intend to keep it for the next 10+ years! Yes market is crazy right now and gas prices are through the roof, but if you ever wanted to have a tough off-road V8 beast dressed in a fine suit - this is your last chance to grab one of those in pristine condition.

2020 INFINITI QX60 review
Bought this vehicle for my use. Out beloved Tahoe come up with a check engine light and we decided not to spend money on an older vehicle. Our DIL did some searching and found this one for us to check out. It looked like it came off the showroom floor. Even it was 5 years old it was immaculate and the maintenance records were maintained. I’m so impressed. In my seventies I feel like I’m driving a sports car. So much different that driving the large SUV but still has a third row of seats when needed and plenty of room for luggage and/or packages. Couldn’t be happier. Even my husband will use it instead of driving his Dodge Ram.

2024 BMW X7 review
Most comfortable ride in an SUV I have been in. Handles very well, accelerates very fast and does not feel like you are driving that fast. Gas mileage has averaged 22 mpg. I like that the X7 has a third row and many features to it and really like using the My BMW app instead of carrying a key with me. There is a lot of technology in the X7 which takes time to understand on how to use.

2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid review
Own a 2014. Best bang for your buck for a 8 seater. I'm at 200k miles with just the usual oil changes and tires when needed. Only 1 downside to these cars are the markups from dealerships.

2022 Hyundai PALISADE review
My wife and I have very much enjoyed the ride and comfort of our new (to us) 2022 Hyundai Palisade. The features are wonderful. I wish I could permanently disable the auto engine shutoff when stopped at a stop light, because I feel it adds more wear and tear on the engine. I do love the V6 engine when on the interstate. I wished it had a little better fuel economy. Overall, it is a wonderful vehicle with a lot of leg room for an adult in any of the 3 rows.

They were able to provide me with a written detailed cost of our final agreed upon price which saved me time once I got to the dealership to complete the purchase. Some other dealerships were not willing to put anything in writing or weren't very timely in their responses. I also had the best sales rep, Chuka! He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and I did not feel rushed or pressured during my test drive. On the day of my purchase he was there to greet me and help me through the process. He even so kindly asked if he could help move the process along by moving my belongings from my old vehicle to the new vehicle which he very meticulously put in the same place. That was a big help and saved me time while I finished up the paperwork. He has also been very responsive in answering follow up questions I had after the vehicle purchase. Highly recommend buying a vehicle here and ask for Chuka!! He goes above and beyond!
2024 Jeep Wagoneer review
I love my new Wagoneer Series II in white with sea salt interior. It has a big punch from the twin turbos, the ride is like my Cadillac Deville. It raises and lowers it's own height based on speed and road conditions. My only complaint is that the seams on the trim at the two back windows don't seem to be sealed properly so the water after washing it continues to drip down leaving a calcium line down the vehicle. I'd would also love it if you could add more apps to the infotainment center. Overall I'd buy it again. I've had two Gukon XL Denalis and the amenities on the Wagoneer at a lower price point far surpasses the GM vehicles.

2019 Dodge Durango review
2019 GT Plus has 73k miles and haven’t had major issues just brakes and normal wear on the vehicle. Drives great, easy to park and feels like a car not a clunky SUV. Would love it to be larger bc I have 3 kids but other than that it’s great!

2022 Hyundai PALISADE review
Just be aware that if you buy a white one that Hyundai had a problem with the paint just flaking off. On the roof of my car which is white, I have big strands and strips of paint coming off and the car only has 20,000 miles. They covered it under warranty for 10 years but it's just a hassle.

2025 Hyundai SANTA FE HEV review
My household has owned many new cars over the years and previously owned a 2017 Santa Fe. The 2025 Calligraphy Hybrid has been amazing so far. Comparing it to the Toyota, Honda, Kia and Volkswagen in its class, we thought the interior was hands down the best in class. The amount of features included even outclass many in the next step up. Very quiet on engine noise and a nice smooth ride. We opted for the Atlantis blue exterior with the light gray interior and it looks great. We also like that the styling sets it apart from all others on the road. So far averaging 34 mpg and we are good with that. Super comfortable seats. The only nitpick would be that the driver attention warning, while using highway drive assist, is pretty aggressive and sometimes warns us to watch the road even when we are. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased a 2025 Infiniti QX80 at an excellent price. Even at full price, it offers good value in the full-size luxury SUV market. After one month, here's my assessment. Strengths **Styling**: The QX80 features elegant exterior and interior design that outshines most competitors. The Navigator's redesign was disappointing, while the Wagoneer lacks refinement. Only the Escalade matches its presence, though with a more aggressive look. **Value**: Infiniti's current market position creates pricing advantages. Feature-for-feature, the QX80 is thousands less than competitors across all trims. **Powertrain**: The twin-turbo 3.5L V6 delivers smooth power through a 9-speed transmission. I'm averaging 20-21 mpg in mixed driving (better than EPA estimates), though it requires premium fuel. **Comfort**: Ride quality and noise isolation are excellent for a body-on-frame vehicle. The air suspension mitigates most harshness from the 22" wheels. **Handling**: It drives more like a midsize SUV, handling mountain roads with unexpected confidence. Only the pricier Escalade V offers better dynamics. **Space**: Dimensions match standard Navigator and Escalade while exceeding the Lexus LX. The third row comfortably fits adults with easy access, and cargo space is generous, especially with seats folded. **Towing**: All models can tow 8,500 pounds, above segment average. Only Wagoneer models with Hemi V8s offer more. Weaknesses **No Homelink**: Inexplicably lacks the standard garage door opener system. Instead uses "myQ," requiring compatible equipment and Wi-Fi. I did shop around for financing options but with a quick online form & a super brief phone call, they took care of my financing at a good rate.. maybe not the best, but frankly the convenience of it all was worth it. We last minute headed to the dealer (with our small kids) late afternoon & did not arrive until a little after 6pm (they closed at 7pm). The vehicle was pulled up front & ready to test drive, instantly loved it. I never felt rushed even though we ended up being there until after they closed. The physical location was very clean, my kids made themselves right at home. Everyone we had interactions with was very friendly & helpful. They made things at quick as possible, we sealed the deal & off we went!

2019 Toyota Highlander review
I traded in my 2016 RAV4 Limited for the Highlander XLE. Primarily for the ride. We had to give up some features such as seat positioning and closeness sensors available on the Rav4. The 2019 Highlander has a V6 that is well reported on and gives us the performance we need. Our ride has definitely improved on the Highlander.

2018 Chevrolet Traverse review
My 2018 Traverse is large enough that I (6'2") can get into and out of it with no problem. If I put the 2nd row of seats down, I can stretch out with room to spare. Averaged 29mpg on a 1400 mile trip in Sept. Has more power and better mpg than my 2012 did. If I get another car, it will once again be a Traverse if it is still available.

2017 Honda Pilot review
This car is a big step up from a Nissan Altima. Lots of space and the ride is smooth. The engine is a bit noisy when idle(clicking noise from the direct injection), and there's also a drone sound when acceleratinf beyond 60mph(not sure if this could be cause of the new tires or not), but other than those noises, it's a smooth machine!

2023 Nissan Pathfinder review
It was AMAZING, I just remember the first time i sat in this thing and it was like LEATHER SEATS AND STUFF! It was SOOOOOO comfortable like a LEATHER SEAT! it also smelled like leather 100/10 i'd give this one i'd give it more than 6 stars if i could but i cant unfortunately :( but that leather is bussin fr! :) glad to actually be a part of this community :)
