my sixth tahoe /trade i every two years .love this vehicle/cant wait to order my 2026.not cheap but a lot of vehicle for the money comparing to others in its class

I am 56 years old and have purchased 6 brand new cars in my lifetime. I own them from 7-12 years, usually overlapping the ownership as I sell the old one rather than trade it in. I have previously purchased 2 other Dodges, 2 Chevys, a Toyota and Subaru. The 2015 Dodge Durango I currently own is the only vehicle that I have never had an issue with, nothing broken, no engine lights, nothing. I simply kept up with the maintenance. I had planned on replacing the front brake pads at around 60,000 miles and when I took the calipers off, the old pads showed little wear, so I left it. At 9 years of ownership I decided to change the battery even though it was still good. At 130,000 miles I changed the spark plugs and figured I should change the coils while I was at it, again no indication of wear, I just felt it was time. It was at this mileage I finally changed the pads and planned on doing the rotors as well, but the rotors showed little to no wear so I only did the pads. I went to my local Dodge dealer the other day and talked to a salesperson about getting a new Durango, hopefully it will be as good as this one.

I have had this car since 2013. I have a feeling it is going to last me a long time. The only thing I don't like about it is the spare being underneath the car where I cannot get to it to check the air or put air in it. I would rather have the spare inside somewhere.

I am a fan of Toyotas and this new Sequoia hits all the buttons for style performance & technology yeah it’s a little pricey but compared to the other big SUVs in the market, I think it’s reasonable.

I’ve always owned Tahoe trucks. This is my 5th one. I owned an 01, 03, 04 and 06 before they changed the body style which I wasn’t fond of. The vehicle model is very attractive compared to other trucks I saw when I wanted to purchase something brand new. The Vortec 5.3 engine is still one of the most reliable engines ever made my opinion. I’ve never had issue with my previous trucks. My last Tahoe, I sold it with 301K miles on it. It was my work truck. Now, I’ve switched this truck from leisure to working. I recently had a major repair. One of the parking assist sensors went bad and cause a domino effect, shutting my computer down. Had to have it towed to a dealer. It’s still fairly new so, finding parts that are compatible outside the dealer for cheap isn’t going to go well. I ended up having to replace all my modules, harnesses for the modules since they had heavy water damage from years of exposure (the design doesn’t cover them). That was a $2800 repair. Not bad for having it 6 years 113000 miles driven. I do highly suggest getting the extended warranty on these newer vehicles and renewing the warranty again if you plan on keeping it long term after it’s paid off. As far as the engine, The correct oil makes a difference. Using the wrong type will effect your fuel efficiency and performance of the engine. Your mechanic may be best at figuring which is ideal for your truck in is current state. The truck does well on the highway for its size. I get about 24-26 highway average. The most I’ve gotten was 32.6 miles on the highway but that was mostly on a flat surface which the engine switches to V4 when it’s not under heavy demand. City driving is to be expected. 13-17 depending on idling at lights, traffic, stopping and starting. It’s a reliable truck if your not looking for fancy with a high price tag for an SUV. Can seat 7-8 ppl safely (I had ppl between 5’10 and 6’2 in the third row and the said it wasn’t a bad sit and was surprisingly more comfortable than they expected a 3rd row to be, handles well (your not gonna make corners at nascar speeds in this truck so expectations are within reason) and it’s acceleration is powerful enough to get you in and out of exits on the highway where the flow of traffic is doing 75mph+. I recommend this truck to anyone that wants reliability, safety for themselves and family and something attractive without the Kardashian price tag. If your hung up on brand name status recognition, spend the extra 40K-62K and get a Mercedes truck if that makes you feel better. If your not one of those ppl, Tahoes are great.

2016 Platinum. Nice SUV, comfortable, very powerful, decent fuel economy, fair build quality, but there are some things to be aware of; the AWD models have a PTU (power transfer unit) which sends power to the rear wheels. It is positioned very close to the exhaust, and the heat generated by the turbochargers literally cooks the gear oil in the PTU, causing it to fail. The unit only holds about a quart of oil, and is NOT serviced or checked, even when you have the vehicle serviced at the dealer. We had trouble with the front camera, and the recirculation actuator on the climate control. If you are considering a used Explorer, I highly recommend buying the best warranty you can! The only complaint I have is the road noise. On new pavement, it's quiet, but on all other roads it's VERY loud inside!

10 years since we bought this vehicle used. It has been awesome, over 110K on the clock; minor problems only. Biggest problems are with brake corrosion caused by very salty roads here. undercarriage corrosion is starting to take its toll. But the vehicle is still good enough we are hesitating to upgrade. Some minor, weird but occasional , electric glitches, mostly self locking. But then, the lack of electronics relative to newer models is a big plus to us. We have now owned this vehicle longer than any other we have ever had. interior issues are with the glove box hinge (plastic and breaks if you are not careful), and elbow rests cracking.

I researched a lot of 7-seater SUVs before deciding on a 1 year old Durango... we needed something that could haul our 5 kids and also double as a commuter car with good cargo space for my husband, who travels to construction job sites all over the place. We both love our RAM trucks (mine is the 2500 horse hauler), so Dodge was a natural choice for us, but we opted for the V6 model for better gas mileage than our Hemis. The Durango did not disappoint!! I've seen other reviews complaining about the power of the SXT... what do you honestly expect, people?! It's a 3-row SUV, a V6 simply can't put out the HP to move it like the Hellcat would (ohh, that one must be sweet!!). That being said, we're still pleased with the performance... which is impressive for a vehicle of this size. It still hauls @ss and handles like a dream, and we live on a ranch in the Rockies so good handling on mountain roads in all manner of nasty weather conditions is an absolute MUST for us. You can tell the Durango is modeled on the Challenger chassis so it's basically a race car of an SUV, even in the V6 model. Do yourself a favor and splurge on some d@mn good all-season tires like Michelin LTX for optimum performance in any road conditions. We've been very impressed with the fuel economy, it does well - even with my husband rallying up and down the mountain and dusting people left & right on his daily commute. Haha! That's one advantage over the V8 models, which guzzle gas as bad as our big RAM trucks. We even run it with the Eco Boost turned off, and often in Sport mode. One thing my husband's not fond of is the fact that there is only one special jack included... and no mounts for floor jacks or jack stands. A second jack from the dealer is almost $300. So husband spent some time in his metal shop to fab an adapter for a second scissor jack, so he could rotate tires and change the oil. It's a non issue if you take your car in for service, but if you're the type to wrench on your own vehicles, it's something to bear in mind. Interior design is nice... the only small beef I've got is the 2nd row seat backs fold down, but the whole seat doesn't fold up to more easily access the 3rd row. It's not an issue for our kids clambering over, but it could be awkward for an adult. So the little ones go in the back. Overall, we're really pleased with our Durango SXT - even for the base model, it's got enough whistles and bells to keep us happy, and an impressive performance to economy ratio. Definitely worth every penny of the purchase price, and it's a vehicle we'll keep for a very long time.

Purchased my '17 DD GT with 25k miles on it. Have owned for around 4 years and now have 66k miles. Haven't had any issues. Routine maintenance only. Love the style and comfort. Interior seats are comfortable for long drives. Mine came with lifetime oil changes. Dealer support has been good (although we've only had oil changes so hard to say). I'm hoping this continues.

It was a relief to find Josh after a terrible experience with another dealer that has nearly the same name. Unfortunate confusion, because Josh provided A+ service and the other guys have given me continued headache. Josh extended me trust and compassion when I needed it, and got me into a car that looks like it will continue to be reliable.

2015 highlander limited. Its very smooth , the seat/mirror memory buttons are great , the auto high beams are awesome. Its easy to maintain, all the fluids and breaks etc are very easy to service right in the driveway. It has the 6 speed transmission that is known to be very reliable (unlike the 8spd trans that toyota came out with in 2017)

Purchased a 2008 LTZ a couple of years ago from my husband's boss with less than 70,000 miles on it. WE LOVE IT. Very roomy for all of my grandkids, love the DVD player and all the extra room. Drives like a dream and for someone who dislikes driving in the snow, I feel completely safe on the road. The towing is amazing and the handling is as smooth as butter. This has been the best vehicle I have ever owned. Hope to have it many more years.

It was a strange coincidence,I was driving to a friends place when a red Camaro passed me and caught my eye because I was thinking of purchasing one...as he passed me i noticed it had dealer tags,I tried to catch up but he was too quick and left me behind,I thought to myself oh well,then as I approached I noticed he was behind a truck and i caught up! OVERVIEW: Found this used 2019 Pilot Touring with AWD, and 8 Passenger seating. It was in great condition. Exterior and interior colors were exactly what we wanted. Purchased it with aobut 74,500 miles on it, newish tires, roof rack rails (great for mounting a backback). Clean carfax. Overall, I'm super glad we got it. We hope we get 200k miles or more out of this Pilot just like we got on the old one The drivetrain is smooth and provides enough power to move us when all 8 seats are used. Lots of comfort and tech features came with this one. DRIVING: Very smooth transmission shifts. No gear hunting issues with the transmission like those reported on the earlier models, especially on the 2016. Feels more luxurious than sport which for us and the family, it's great. Plenty of power for a family hauler. You can use the paddle shifters in Sport mode. 4 AWD drive modes - Normal, Snow, Mud, and Sand. COMFORT: It's super quiet inside compared to the 2011 model. Not as much road or wind noise like our old Pilot. The steering and suspension handles the road nicely, especially on our crappy California pothole-filled roadways. Lots of room. Nice leather seating with ample leg room. Feels a little bigger than our 2011 Pilot. Kids confirmed it feels a little bigger. Front and middle row heated seats are great! Adjustable armrests for front driver and passenger give good support. Plenty of leg room in 2nd row. Small adults and large kids in the 3rd row will be fine. Feels roomier than the 2011. Lots of cup holders. Seats are easy to move and adjust. Single push buttons to move the middle seats forward to get in and out of the 3rd row seats! Easy to flatten them as well to give you room to haul stuff. Rear door sunshades are included in this trim as well. Sunroof with tilt comes with this model, too. Entertainment and Technology: The entertainment system is really nice. 8in touch screen with Apple CarPlay (Android Auto as well) is excellent. Love how GPS displays on the screen while having the ability to have other apps open on the phone. 10 Speakers sound great. The multiple information dashboard can be customized. Looks sleek. The screen is big, bright, colorful and I set mine to show the tripometer information - miles driven, MPG, and range. You have other options - Nav, AWD torque distribution, entertainment info, etc. Outside temp, ECON mode, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane-Keep Assist System, safety systems, and other indicators are on-screen. Rear entertainment system has yet to be tested but it can play Blu-Ray discs and has an HDMI port and AC plug for another input source. Comes with 2 wireless headsets and a remote control as well. So far, we found 4 USB charging ports. There are lighter ports available as well in case you need more power. Can't wait to figure out CabinTalk when we go on a road trip. You can communicate both ways with the rear passengers using the internal mics, speakers, and Rear entertainment headsets. The motorized rear tailgate with hands-free kick motion open and close is nice to have as well. Keyless entry system with auto-unlock and walkaway auto-locking features are included as well. Remote start is also included with the Touring trim. Safety: Bright LED headlights and well-designed daytime running lights. Auto high-beam LED headlights were a nice surprise.The Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane-Keep Assist are freakily awesome. Keep your hands on the wheel though because it's not perfect. The camera and sensors can get confused. But they're good to have for safety and driving assist, especially on long rides on open highways. Blindspot monitoring, rear cross-traffic sensing, and parking sensors are included and help in those situations. I always disable the collision mitigation feature due to potential problems with the system potentially braking at wrong and dangerous times.

My husband and I went to Jay Auto Sales to check out some of their used cars. We needed to replace my beloved old Prius that was rear-ended and totaled by the insurance company. We were greeted outside by Robert, who invited us into his office inside to talk. After chatting for awhile, we told him that money was really an issue, and as it happens there were no cars that day that we could really afford. He was so understanding, and actually did not try to sell us a car at all, but recommended that we get our car back and get it fixed because that would cost less than buying another car. We were so impressed with his honesty and really, a very kind and caring attitude. We did not buy a car that day, but if I were going to buy a car from a dealer, I would definitely go to Jay Auto Sales and talk to Robert.

I bought my LTZ as a Certified Pre Owned, already 5 Years old. I have driven it for 3.5 years and just had to pay for my first Repair - a broken motor mount. It is quiet, smooth and comfortable. I am 6' 4" and go 250 lbs so space and comfort are paramount for me, and I could not be happier.

I bought my 2014 Pilot Touring 4x4 used 4 years ago with 67k miles on her. We're at 150k now still going strong other than tires and routine maintenance no issues at all. She handles great on all terrain and in all weather, shes big enough to haul the family around town, move across the country in comfort or a weekend at the lake and you'd never know there was a trailer or a boat behind you. They did lose a star on the exterior for the paint peel on the roof above the windshield as others have mentioned.

This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

After seeing a vehicle on Cars.com at Paramount that I was interested in and sending an email, I was contacted by Paramount about that vehicle very quickly. It was difficult for me to arrange to come see the vehicle, so the salesman brought it to me at work! He drove around and told me more about the vehicle. He seemed very knowledgable about all sorts of vehicles. I am considering other vehicles in the area, but will definitely go back to Paramount if I see other vehicles listed that fit my criteria because I was so impressed with its willingness to go the extra mile (literally!) for a potential customer.

I USE MY TRUCK FOR SLEEPING, OFF ROADING, DRIVING FAMILY (7 SEAT VERSION) AND TOWING A HORSE and general commuter to the horse farm where I board. I love my truck. I would buy another in a heartbeat, if they offered the same truck.. Sadly, not. This is the best model and year fro this version and I will keep it forever.

Had a 2005 Limited for five years and just replaced it with a 2008 Limited. The 2008 is better in every way. The 5.7l motor provides “muscle car” performance for this 6000lb SUV. You can fit 275/65/20 (34”) tires without modification - previous owner did a body color grill surround and LED headlights to upgrade the look. With a light foot i can average near 15 mpgs and up to 18 on the highway- not bad for something with the comfort and space of most living rooms lol. Easily the best vehicle I have owned in 40+ years of driving

If you know what you want,and have the means this is the place. The Ken and Brian combo is the Best. If you want to haggle about price this is not the place. Prices are set to go against Nationwide market. If you do your research and they have the Vehicle, you're looking for this is the place. In my humble opinion.
