2017 BMW X3 review
STAR AUTO MALL: Worst car dealer EVER! I bought a 2017 BMW X3. They never checked the car! I had problems immediately! I called, emailed & texted... Star Auto Mall would NOT return my calls, texts or emails! I went to BMW dealer, and they found lots of issues! Wires hanging down, tires rubbing, etc. It cost me $480 to fix it! I billed Star Auto Mall, and it looks like they're just chucking me the finger!! AVOID these incompetent thieves! 2013 Subaru Forester review
I bought my Subaru in 2023 because it only had 60,000 miles on the OD. It's the minimal 2.5X model, but I couldn't pass up the car at such a low price. After driving it for over a year, I put only 6000 miles on it. I took it to the Subaru dealer for NY state inspection, and had the brakes replaced, and paid for the 60000 mi Subaru recommended service. I love this car, especially since I can connect my iPod to the blue tooth and play my music library. It is a bit noisy on the highway, but it's not the luxury model, so that's expected. The Subaru dealer said everything on the car was real solid. So far it has been very dependable, and easy to drive in the snow. It has no leaks, no dents, no squeaks, no problems. I've owned and driven 8 Subaru's over the past 40 years, and I'm hoping to keep my 2013 model and drive it for at least another 10 years.

2015 Subaru Forester review
Bought my 2015 Subaru 2.0XT Touring brand spanking new off the Subaru dealership's lot. Have owned it all this time about 9 years straight. Take care of your car with regular oil changes, servicing at recommended intervals, and your car will take care of you. Performed the required recalls during service periods. Not 1 single regret on owning this car, ever. It rides smooth and true. Had a clicking issue in the ball joints 2 years ago which Subaru fixed free of charge. Other than that, this car has been my dream machine.

2017 Nissan Rogue review
I bought my rogue brand new in 2017 snd nothing but good to say about it. This is my fsmily car for last seven year and o have zero relaiability issue. Currently my milage is 110k , othet than reguler oil and filter change or factory drfault setvices , i did not to trouble shoot it. I use it for everday travel and grocery and never had any issue. After using it for seven year i csn definitly say it performed beyond my expectation. I have serviced my car from the dealership only and they were deligent of its needs. Rigth now i can say i dont feel like its a seven year old car. It still rides like new. More recently i nerd to cahge my battery and minor repare of my syearing wheel, other than that only factory recomemded services. I know the cars acceleration is not the best but i dont nerd it for my family car. It is spacious and I use ot regulerly for moving furniture or reno work. The finish is good for my test. The only issue i am having right now is the breake has a squeaky paddle. For comfort i can say its front seat are very comfortable. The ride quality is average, it does not soakup road imperfection but its not too bad though. I have 8 liter per 100km for milage. This is a keeper.

My wife and I are now proud owners of a new 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid Touring (River Rock Pearl Two Tone), thanks to the incredible efforts of Donald Myers at Fairfield Subaru. It was a much-needed surprise for my wife, whose car was recently totaled. She's always dreamed of a Subaru, and this past Sunday, Don made that dream a reality, exceeding all expectations. Our journey was initially frustrating. Our first attempt at Albany Subaru ended with an inexplicable $15,000 price hike upon arrival. They made us feel like we were wasting their time for not paying this huge markup. That, plus a Napa dealer selling a car from under us after starting paperwork, left us wary of dealership games. As a former car salesman, I know these tactics and just wanted an honest, respectful experience. Finding the new Forester Hybrid in my wife's preferred River Rock Pearl was incredibly difficult due to high demand. We'd almost resigned ourselves to a gas version, placing a deposit on an incoming silver model at Fairfield Subaru with Don. From our first interaction, Don was a pleasure – experienced, knowledgeable, and not pushy. I immediately felt I could trust him. Weeks later, I told Don my wife truly desired the River Rock Pearl. Don immediately found that exact Hybrid Touring incoming, unlisted online! We eagerly switched our deposit. Crucially, Don cleared it with his manager first, given the car's high demand. He then transparently explained a fair markup reflecting supply/demand. As a business owner, I respected this straightforwardness; businesses must be viable to serve customers and support their teams. Best of all, the price Don quoted was exactly what we paid. No surprises or games – just pure honesty. Don is a salesman of true character. The Forester arrived a week early, which was fantastic, but my wife was out of town. Given our past negative experiences, we were anxious the car might be sold, as our "reserve" was verbal. I also couldn't get from Santa Rosa to Fairfield that Sunday. Don then went truly above and beyond. He spent Saturday helping me with remote paperwork. Then, to ensure I could retrieve the car and surprise my wife, Don offered to drive an hour to Santa Rosa to pick me up! I was floored and initially declined, not wanting to impose. He then immediately offered an Uber or Lyft. This dedication is almost unheard of. Thanks to Don, when I arrived at Fairfield Subaru this past Sunday, the numbers were exactly as promised. I paid, and in under 30 minutes, was driving away. My wife's airport surprise was a success – she was overjoyed! Don even followed up the next day to ensure everything was satisfactory, testifying to his unwavering commitment. Don understood our needs and explained market realities, navigating everything perfectly with mutual respect. After bait-and-switch tactics elsewhere and a friend's harassment at Santa Rosa Subaru, Don was a complete breath of fresh air. He is a true diamond in the rough. Driving to Fairfield for Donald Myers is unequivocally worth it. Simply call and ask for him. 2015 Subaru Forester review
Bought this car three years old with less than 50K miles on it. I’ve loved it since we got it. It has been very reliable, fun to drive, with pretty minor drawbacks. For example the maintenance has been very minimal. I haven’t noticed ANY oil burning or leaking (I have personally changed the oil every 3-4K miles). Sometimes on long trips it will burn some oil and need a top off, which the car alerts us to. Overall I’d buy this car over and over as long as it fit my needs at the time. Currently looking into an Ascent for future hockey trips and other trips.

2016 Nissan Rogue review
I bought my 2016 Rogue SL in 2019 with 32,000 miles on it. It is now 2025 and it has 223,000 miles on it, and I still drive her daily with no issues. I have had to replace the car battery once and the fob battery twice. I also had to replace the front wheel bearings about 2 years ago. That is it! No check engine lights no engine or transmission issues, no sun roof leaks. Everything she started with still functions as well as the day i got her. This has been the best, most reliable incredible car i could have every asked for. I can not speak highly enough of the Rogue and am currently looking at getting another one and saving what is left of this one for my daughter.

2017 Nissan Rogue review
Don’t know why people hate Nissans with CVT. Now that I’ve lived with the CVT with 140,000 miles I know I wouldn’t buy another one, but it’s been just fine, no issues. This isn’t a sporty vehicle but for 8 years and 140k miles it gets the job done every time. I just don’t get the hatred towards these cars. I do have AWD but if I were to do it over I’d drop that option. It’s expensive to maintain and truthfully I don’t go outside when the weather is bad anyway so I doubt the AWD feature has ever engaged, not even once. I plan to keep my vehicle for 10 years then get a minivan.

2017 Nissan Rogue review
Bought our 2017 on New Year’s Eve 2016. Choose an SV model with optional premium package. Heated seats,heated steering wheel,remote start, pwr tailgate and upgraded info screen with many cameras and nav. As of November 2024, it has been absolutely bulletproof. We bought the car for our 16-year-old daughter and it has carried her through high school and now college with only one issue. I have had to replace the battery three times only oil changes. A set of brakes and a set of tires and service the CVT transmission. I learned this is highly important for the CVT to get the maximum life out of it, since it is a weak spot. Dealer charges about $200 to do it. Do it every 30k. Ours has performed flawlessly! Negatives- At 6 foot two I find a hard driving position. The power seat does not go back far enough but if I lower the seat all the way to the floor it gives me the room I need but then I feel like I’m sitting in a bathtub, but hey, it’s not my car so I rarely drive it Performance around town is very good! You can find yourself getting a speeding ticket on city Street if you’re not careful. Highway power is just OK I find it if you’re trying to cruise 80 miles an hour with other people in the car the CVT is constantly revving the engine out to get maximum performance and hold the Cruise control. I also find there’s quite a bit of road noise at freeway speeds especially if you’re sitting in the backseat. The cloth upholstery on the zero gravity seats stains way too easily especially if you have a tan colored interior I have to steam clean them at least every six months, my daughter is an athlete and she sometimes gets in the car sweaty with a water bottle between her legs and just the moisture stains the heck out of the seat. Overall, though for about $26,000 it’s hard to beat. It’s been reliable it’s safe and I have felt extremely comfortable putting my child in it and sending her off to college. I imagine she will keep it for many more years after graduation.

2018 Volkswagen Tiguan review
Going on 3 years with my 2018 Tiguan. Last year heading to Pheonix from Northern AZ in middle of nowhere lost power and could only go 25mph. Stopped and waited for tow. Took it to VW dealer they fixed it free on a recall. Only problem so far kept garage and maintained. Only minor gripe is the light weight 0 20 oil is hard to read on dipstick..consistency of water. Runs well plenty of power for this old guy.

2019 Mazda CX-5 review
This is my second CX-5. This first was a 2016 I bought in 2019 and loved tremendously and then it was totaled when I was rear-ended by someone texting and driving during Covid. I drove a sort of hand-me-down Jeep for a while during the weird Covid period when everything was uncertain but knew I wanted another CX-5 as soon as I felt financially comfortable. The car is extremely comfortable, handles well and has a beautiful streamlined and simply classic look. My partner who is a die-hard Mercedes snob even loves it!

2017 MINI Countryman review
I've owned this MINI Countryman Cooper S for several years, and it has been one of my favorite vehicles I've ever owned. I had always wanted a MINI, and after owning one, I can honestly say I have no regrets. What surprised me most was how comfortable it is. I've taken multiple long road trips in this vehicle, and unlike some cars I've owned in the past, I never felt stiff or uncomfortable after spending hours behind the wheel. The seats are supportive, and it's a great vehicle for both daily driving and longer journeys. The handling is outstanding. It has that tight, responsive feel that people who enjoy driving BMWs will appreciate. It feels connected to the road, corners confidently, and is simply fun to drive every time you get behind the wheel. I also like that the technology is useful without being overwhelming. It has the features I want, but it still feels like a driver's car rather than a computer on wheels. The panoramic sunroof, premium audio system, and overall interior design make it feel more upscale than its price point would suggest. Most of all, I love the styling. The Countryman stands out from the crowd and has a unique personality that many vehicles lack. Every time I walked up to it, it felt like I was getting into something special. It's practical enough for everyday use, comfortable enough for road trips, and distinctive enough to put a smile on your face. If you're looking for a compact SUV that's fun, comfortable, and different from everything else on the road, the MINI Countryman is worth serious consideration.

2017 Nissan Rogue review
I now have over 80,000 miles on my Rogue, and it has been everything I had hoped for (for thousands less than the CR-V I almost bought). Zero reliability issues....it has only needed oil changes, brakes, and tires. Steering, acceleration, and braking seem responsive. Good road visability, and great MPG. The only negative in my opinion is I do feel road bumps in this suv more than my previous Subaru Outback and Honda CR-V. I wouldn't be surprised if I get 300,000+ miles out of this vehicle.

2019 Volkswagen Atlas review
This is my 2nd VW. My 1st was a 02 passat I bought in 2013. It was the most reliable car I ever owned. It has 230000 miles and still runs great! This Atlas takes things to a whole different level. The look, performance and features are world-class! The only knock I would have is the mpg is average at best. Only 20mpg on average. But overall it is a great vehicle for the price. The SEL trim is fully loaded. Whatever feature you could imagine, it has it. I hope to enjoy this vehicle for years to come.

2018 Nissan Rogue review
Just purchased a 2018 Nissan Rogue from Landmark Automotive, in West Chester Pa. The car is beautiful, runs so smoth and quiet. Its quite peppy barely touch the gas a it really moves. Sound system is amazing, and I love the push start. No problems so far and I really love that its got a two year warrenty. 2017 Subaru Outback review
I went from owning a 2003 Monte Carlo SS to a 2017 Subaru Outback. It was worth every penny. My Subaru is not only reliable, functional, and cute; it also saved me from being injured in a bad crash. This past fall a six point buck hit my car head on and I never saw it coming. It was a fatal crash for the deer, but not for me. As heartbroken as I was to see my car crumpled on the front, I was so glad it wasn't me. It was a repairable fix and made me really appreciate my car.

2017 Honda CR-V review
2017 Honda CRV Touring, purchased new. Average 34mpg, AWD, 75,000 miles. Only problem is every other month, the dashboard screen flickers uncontrollably until car is turned off. Other than that this vehicle has been 100% reliable with zero mechanical or other electrical issues.

2016 Nissan Rogue review
I bought a 2016 SL used in 2017 from the dealer. It has a lot of great features. The SL model rides and handles a lot better then lower models. Good inside room for passengers and storage. Pretty good gas mileage and pickup for the size. No CVT issues so far that I've heard of. Suggest you pay attention to CVT maintenance as it requires more service than your standard geared transmission. I got that from a 2015 Juke I still own. Renewed maintenance resolved the dreaded CVT "stumble".

2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport review
Bought my 2017 Santa Fe Sport in 2018 with about 60K on it, it was a rental, and it now has 260K and have had no major issues. I have maintained it very well with a full synthetic oil change, Mobil 1 oil only, about every 6000 - 7000 miles. I will never go 10,000 miles without an oil change regardless of the 20,000 mile guarantee that Mobil 1 offers. Nothing but normal maintenance, tires, battery, serpentine belt etc. I realize that all of them are that reliable but I have had very good fortune with this one. And do not be afraid to buy a rental, they usually maintain them very well.
