2023 Hyundai TUCSON review
I've had this vehicle limited fwd edition over a year now and it's still awesome as the first day I bought it. Smoother ride and quieter ride than the Honda CRV or the Toyota RAV4. I love that it has GDI and multiport injection which the competition does not. I also love that it has a regular transmission and not a CVT. This vehicle comes with all the luxuries my old Cadillacs had plus a lot more features. This car has plenty of pick up and go. You just have to learn to push down on the accelerator not punch it. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the small SUV class. Cause believe me I test drove them all, and this was by far the quietest smoothest ride and most comfortable car that I test drove.

2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe review
Approaching 25,000 miles and we haven’t had any issues. I actually enjoy choosing whether to run on electric or gas based on what my journey is. If you just put it in hybrid mode, you’re not utilizing the efficiency of the engine. My advice, think about your journey. If I’m jumping on the highway to then head into the city, I run it on gas on the highway then switch to all electric in the city -no point wasting the electric with highway driving! Then I use up the last of my electric when google tells me I’m X miles from home when I still have X miles of electric remaining to use it all up. When we just do local drives less than 25 miles (grocery, day care pick up etc.) we can literally run off electric only for days, even weeks. It just takes thinking about what your journey involves. Crawling traffic for a 5 mile slow down ahead, I’m on gas until I hit that traffic, then switch to electric. We’ve taken this Jeep (Willys) through plenty of winter storms with feet of snow and ice, never needed to use chains with its AWD or 4WD to choose from. Hopefully the great reliability continues.

2020 Toyota RAV4 review
I've had my 2020 rav4 le for several months & bought it used with 1 owner. Absolutely love it. Only complaint is 2 tiny copper clips fell out of drivers side mirror & now whenever I go to the carwash, the mirror buckles all the way fwd, then all the way backwards. It's a common problem. Other than that, beautiful car inside/out.

The most important aspect of Herb Chambers Honda/Seekonk is that they are HONEST. They never lie to me nor do they push their own agenda. They allow me to make my own choices, which I love. Also, their service team is top notch. Again, they do not push anything on me. I make my own decisions about when and how much I want to do at any time, but I know to listen when they suggest that a repair is necessary. I have now bought 4 cars with them over the years, and, when I decide to buy another, they are my first choice. PS: Tim Islip in Service always give me sound advice. I love working with him!
2023 Nissan Pathfinder review
It was AMAZING, I just remember the first time i sat in this thing and it was like LEATHER SEATS AND STUFF! It was SOOOOOO comfortable like a LEATHER SEAT! it also smelled like leather 100/10 i'd give this one i'd give it more than 6 stars if i could but i cant unfortunately :( but that leather is bussin fr! :) glad to actually be a part of this community :)

2022 Buick Encore GX review

2019 Audi Q5 review
The perfect car for our needs: a small SUV with relatively high (4400 lbs) towing capacity. Only the BMW X3 has the same combination. The Q5 is well appointed with high quality materials. It feels very solid on the road, with adjustable driving modes (dynamic, comfort, etc.). It has surprising power for a 4-cylinder engine and surprisingly good fuel economy. We purchased this vehicle used with some remaining factory warranty, which we haven't yet needed--all systems are working perfectly.

2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid review
2024 RAV4 Hybrid XSE model is a great choice - interior road noise & front seats that do not glide back enough are my ‘wish I would have paid attention to’ regrets. If passengers are over 6’2” with long legs, they do not fit in the front seat comfortably & many times I feel like an Uber driver with them choosing the back seat when going distances. Hybrids make a lot of noise when backing up which can turn heads - this is normal so don’t be alarmed. Gas mileage is terrific & its sporty exterior is over the top. 2023 Subaru Ascent review
I recently traded in my 2022 Ascent for a similar 2023 model. The 2022 model had brakes issues/noises right from the beginning of ownership. Subaru gave me a great deal on the 2023 model. A number of improvement were found on the 2023 model. Obvious one is the exterior styling with new front grille, headlights and taillights. Interior improvements include updated Eyesight, quieter ride, better steering and brakes, larger multimedia screen including front and backup camera screens, driver profile system. A few other tweaks here and there, making the 2023 Ascent Touring a decent and very safe SUV. Not necessarily sporty or thrilling but perfect vehicle for commuting in town and long road trips.

2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited review
The Sahara high altitude with the sky one touch roof is awesome. The one touch opens or closed in 15 seconds. This is a game changer as we do not hesitate to open the roof in all different weather conditions. Reason is if bad weather or hot weather gets us we can have the roof closed in little time. The ride is very smooth. Noise is low at highway speeds. Overall, we really all the accessories and sound system. Definitely, recommend.

2022 Jeep Compass review
Bought this 2022 Compass Trail Hawk new for my wife. Earlier this year (2025) we landed a sweetheart deal on a new 2024 Wrangler Sport S. Guess who inherited the Compass ? I stepped down from a Grand Cherokee but I have no regrets. It has had a few electrical teething issues but all have been resolved and have not come back. The handling and fuel economy are much better than the Grand Cherokee. There are only 2 downsides..........the size of the gas tank (13.5 gal vs 24.5) and the cargo space behind the 2nd row seats. I have easily adapted to both ! I want to give a shout-out to our local dealership, Tri-City CDJR. Start to finish, an excellent place to purchase and maintain our Jeeps. BRAVO ZULU !

2023 Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 review

2022 Jeep Renegade review
I picked the Jeep Renegade in the Trailhawk model because it is the only car in the compact category that also has excellent off roading capabilities. It completely beats out the other "off road" vehicles in its class like the Crosstrek or trailblazer. It also works excellent as a daily driver and great on long highway drives, having way better gas mileage than a pickup or wrangler. No road noise like you get in a wrangler or a truck with big off road tires. I've had this car for a little over a year at this point, with about 7000 miles, and the only thing I can say was any kind of issue was I got warning lights on my dash for the lane sensors, but they were just dirty and a quick wash fixed that problem. I can't say much for reliability just because the car is still so new. I have the leather trim upgrade that you can get with the trailhawk, but even with that the quality of the interior is lacking compared to other vehicle brands at the same price range and category, like the Crosstrek, but looking at Jeep's other vehicles like the Gladiator or Wrangler, it fits right in. Everything does feel high quality. I'm very picky about road noises and rattling panels or vibrations while driving, and I haven't had anything at all yet with this vehicle even when driving on rough roads or hitting bumps. The only reason why I gave this car a lower interior rating is just because of the excessive use of plastic. The exterior is very unique. At first I absolutely hated the blocky look of the renegade, but with all the iconic Jeep stying mixed in and the upgraded look of the trailhawk front bumper, I have grown to really love the way this little SUV looks. The blocky shape gives it extremely good headroom and gives it extra cargo space in the rear. The trailhawk model has armor on the underside to prevent damage by anything you're climbing over when going off road. There are some gaps in the armor that you can fill with available aftermarket parts. I will say that I think the cardboard box aerodynamics are the main reason why the gas mileage is so poor even with such a small engine. With about 55/45 split between in-town and highway driving respectively, on roads with large elevation changes, I do still get 24 mpg combined which is decent. The road handling is also great, the Renegade is a very light car, and even with being a little top heavy it zooms around corners almost like a small sports car. The 1.3l engine is surprisingly torque-y, it took me a little while to get used to being gentle on the throttle, the first few gears are very deep and the tiny turboed engine makes 210 foot pounds of torque so it will launch very quickly until it gets to 3rd/4th gear. The absolute worst and best thing about this car is it's transmission and the way it's programmed. In regular driving, it seems like the transmission has to stop and think about what gear to go to, so swapping gears is a little slow and not as smooth as other cars. At the same time, the transmission is the main reason why this car does extremely, unexpectedly well off road and in poor driving conditions. It will always keep power to wheels that have traction, and so gives impressive control. I have driven this up a mountain trail in the middle of a Montana winter and it felt like a leisurely drive, even purposely drove into tall snow drifts to give myself a challenge and plowed over them without any issue. When I got to the peak in my stock renegade trailhawk the only other vehicle on the peak was a modified, lifted Tacoma with large off road tires that had chains wrapped around them. I'm extremely impressed with how well this compact SUV really does off road. Overall I'm extremely happy with my renegade, and hope to have it for the next decade as a light trail/off road adventure car and daily driver.

I am 77 years old and a Vietnam Era Veteran, I had a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck that I used in my business until I retired and still drove it after that until it got to a point where it just wasn't feasible to repair it anymore so I scrapped it, since I am retired I don't really drive that much anymore and I used Lyft services and my wife's car to occasionally get here and there. But my wife works part time and needs the car about 4 days a week. Then I decided I wanted to get myself another vehicle, not necessarily a new one but a recent late model, but then the ordeal of deciding what I wanted to get started. Did I want a small car a big car a truck, and SUV and if an SUV which one? Since I am a veteran I use the VA Health Care Center in Providence and I am provided Lyft services to and from the hospital for checkups and what have you. During my car search time I happened to have an appointment at the VA and when I called Lyft services to schedule a ride they sent over a beautiful Honda Pilot which I rode in and was very impressed with, and as luck would have it, when I was through with my appointment and called for another ride, Lyft sent ANOTHER Honda Pilot to take me home and I was very impressed with that vehicle as well. I searched for Honda Pilot vehicles online and came across a beautiful looking 2020 EX model, it was burgundy, loaded with a lot of features, had very low mileage, and was very reasonably priced. It was for sale at Grieco Honda on Hartford avenue in Johnston. As a lot of people , are I was a little hesitant about going into a car dealership having heard stories about various bad experiences some people have had with some. When I went into Grieco Honda I was introduced to a young man named Chris Matarese who was a very pleasant individual. He brought the vehicle around for us to go for a test drive, was extremely polite, very intelligent and exceptionally knowledgeable about the vehicle, answering all of my questions in an instant. After a brief time of asking my "20 questions" about the vehicle and financing I decided to buy the 2020 Honda Pilot. Since the vehicle had just been taken in trade it had not been inspected by the service department as yet, and Chris had the vehicle taken in immediately to have it inspected, the service manager noted that the driver side sun visor was not functioning properly and hung a little bit low having apparently been sprung over time, and it was decided that Grieco would put a new visor in for me which I thought was a very nice gesture. So to end this story, I've had the vehicle now for a little over 2 months and I cannot be happier with it and also with the excellent and outstanding service and courtesy which was extended to me by Chris Matarese, you will find him exceptionally honest, devoutly professional, and eager to earn your business. The services provided by Grieco Honda including sales, financing, and the service department were all excellent in quality, if you're looking for a vehicle go to Grieco Honda on Hartford Avenue in Johnston and ask for Chris you will not be disappointed I can assure you. It is quiet, stylish, has an easy and very effective infotainment system, owns five star safety and shows every indication of being as reliable as the Yukon I owned for 20 years. This Suv will go to 60 mph in about 6.0 seconds flat. It has 20 inch wheels and tires and will turn better and stop faster than most every Suv. I have front and rear heated seats, cooled seats, a sunroof, memory settings and this is only an SLT. My gas mileage routinely exceeds EPA (with AWD). Driving from Milwaukee to Chicago, I averaged 29.8 MPG at 75 mph. EPA is 26 MPG at 65 mph. I truly LOVE that Car and Driver rates this SUV near the bottom. Better for me. I have the Home Run. The OWNERS of the GMC Acadia rate this SUV higher than Highlander Palisade, Explorer, Telluride and all the rest. Count me among them. FYI, not a GM employee, just a happy customer.

2021 Chevrolet Equinox review
I had a 20/20 Equinox that I was traveling from Illinois to Florida. As I was getting back on 75 South I got rear-ended and throw a hundred feet. The car took the brunt of the hit my cat that was in the cage in the back never got hurt my dog that was tethered in the front seat never got hurt I got a small concussion with a bump on my head but overall I absolutely love the car. When I got reimbursed for my 20/20 I went out and bought another one I was so impressed with the impact it took for that crash.

2023 Chevrolet Traverse review
Love this car! This is our 2nd Traverse. My wife loves it. I have 180,000 miles on it and still going strong. We will definitely be looking for our 3rd one. It has the most room of all SUV in its classs. The v-6 has very good power with lots of pickup.
