2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport review
Bought my 2017 Santa Fe Sport in 2018 with about 60K on it, it was a rental, and it now has 260K and have had no major issues. I have maintained it very well with a full synthetic oil change, Mobil 1 oil only, about every 6000 - 7000 miles. I will never go 10,000 miles without an oil change regardless of the 20,000 mile guarantee that Mobil 1 offers. Nothing but normal maintenance, tires, battery, serpentine belt etc. I realize that all of them are that reliable but I have had very good fortune with this one. And do not be afraid to buy a rental, they usually maintain them very well.

2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV review
Bought the CX-90 in early Feb. 2024 and immediately drove across the country and back. No issues at all. After 4,000 miles, the actual performance was consistent with all of the video reviews. Very comfortable interior with high end feel.Apple Car Play worked seamlessly with GPS system Waze. Hands free controls was smooth and prompt. PHEV experience was solid. Love the charging prioritization feature while driving. Takes about 2 hours on the highway to reach a full charge so that at destination you can operate on EV mode. At home, Level 1 charge takes about 10 hours (overnight) Wish the 26 mile EV range was more like 50 but maybe in future models. Combined MPG with 98% highway driving on the road trip was 25.5 mpg. Overall, so far so good. Vey happy with the purchase.

Great car love the sophisticated and upscale exterior and interior First time hybrid plug in purchase and seeing fuel savings, would like to see greater electric range. 2025 Mazda CX-70 PHEV review
Overall nice SUV.Range is only 26 miles on E-mode,offraod the door wells get dirty so opening the doors to enter of exit is a challenge to not get dirty.Tires wore out at 15k and they are are EXSPENSIVE to replace.

2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV review
I really do love my CX-90 PHEV but, as anyone will tell you as an early owner of a brand new model of anything, there are kinks to work out. I can get most of my driving done on battery without having to transition to the gas engine which is awesome. The amount of time it takes to charge is not awesome. I would schedule all of my charging to happen late at night when power is cheapest but the charger it comes with takes 11 hours to fully charge. I bought a level 2 charger which takes closer to 8 hours. An improvement but not what I was hoping for. The infotainment system randomly but consistently disconnects from my phone without explanation or warning. It reconnects quickly but it is very annoying. Finally, the engine will sometimes have hiccups when I'm driving on either engine. I will feel a weird surge of power which worries me a bit. Other than not being able to get the color I wanted (I was told "soul red" isn't popular on larger, "mom" cars) I am very happy with the car. It is stylish, fits my whole family very comfortably, and it was a wonderful upgrade from my 2020 CX-5 (which I also LOVED). I can't wait to see what the future holds with PHEV vehicles. What a wonderful bridge between gas and electric - makes it feel totally reliable!

2021 Audi Q7 review
I really like it. I have the Prestige package. Some disappointments however. When turning from a slow speed or stop there is often a lag or bucking. So I need to be careful especially when pulling into traffic. It is annoying for 85k vehicle. Also had it with my 2018. Figured it would be fixed by now. Common Audi issue I have read. Limited interior storage space. Voice navigation command is iffy so I use Waze. MPG is less than my 18 model. Same 3.0. It gets better in Dynamic mode. Otherwise I love driving it. Style is nice and gets a lot of comments. Interior comfort is fine with a nice sense of control. I think I would buy another one but not if they don't fix the lag. I feel it could be a safety negative. Electronics are abundant. Takes some time to get used to them all. Probably I don't even use them all. I pull out manual off and on and still discovering things after a year. Overall though I really enjoy driving it.

They also charge a service fee for using your credit card which is getting way too common. I used a debit card to avoid the fee. We are in our 70's and wanted a car that had blind spot protection with great window visability, a good sized GPS map, keyless entry, and good fuel economy. Also, it has good space in trunk with fold down rear seats. At 51,000 miles we have had no issues.

2023 Tesla Model X review
I recently purchased. a Model X Long Range to replace my 2021 Audi e-tron; I couldn’t be happier. The Tesla is faster, more efficient, and more fun to drive and the charging network is second to none. Interior quality and ride are comparable. My dogs love the extra room and Dog Mode in the Tesla. A lot of the negative reviews on this place are a bit silly. In my experience from this past weekend, if you listen to the salesperson who you are assigned, bring all the documents requested, make appointments, and come fully prepared, you will have an excellent experience just as I did. I placed a 7-day hold on the exact car I wanted, and made an appointment to come test drive it and apply for financing a few days later. I spoke with my salesperson, Jerry Neyland, a few times on the phone before coming in, and he always had the answers I needed. He advised me on what documentation to bring with me, and when I arrived for my test drive appointment Jerry has the car ready for me. We took a quick test drive, I fell in love with the car, and we started the financing application. Since I brought everything we'd need, it was a BREEZE! In total, I was maybe at CarMax for 2 hours maximum. I had been stressing over it all week, only to find out it was all so, so simple. Jerry's customer service is second to none--he was friendly, quick, and understanding. He kept me informed every step of the way, and not once did I feel he was putting pressure on me or trying to "sell" me on anything. CarMax Buena Park gets 5 out of 5 stars for me, and Jerry Neyland gets 6 out of 5 stars! Overall an excellent experience in every regard.
2025 Toyota 4Runner Hybrid review
I have been buying Toyota 4-runners since 1998. I really like the dependably of Toyota. This is the first hybrid I have ever bought, so I can’t comment on that part, but I don’t like that is smaller then my 2016 4-runner. I can’t haul as much as I use to, and when you fold the seats down there is a big bump up from the seats being folded up, so no flat surface to haul. It has so many sensors for all the driving help aids that when I was driving in ice and snow none of the sensors worked , because of all the ice and snow. It was so cold you could not clean them off. As I was driving it kept giving me notices that nothing was working and consult the owners manual. Also the foot opener on the back hatch did not work either because of snow and ice. If you lose power for some reason I wouldn’t be able to open the hatch manually. There is a button underneath the y on the name Toyota to open the hatch which was not frozen. I liked my 2016 better, but I travel a lot , and it had a lot of miles, that is the only reason I bought the new 4-runner. Some features I love like the button that automatically dims the headlights when a car approaches. The automatic rear view mirrors are a plus for tight packing spaces so you can hit a button and they fold in. I love my heated and cooled seats. Has a heated steering wheel as well. Middle console is small , and the drink holder is right at my elbow when driving. Smaller then the 2016 4 runner.

2014 Lexus RX 350 review
I purchased my 2014 RX350 with 14,000 miles on it 5 years ago and have put 73,000 miles on it, mostly all highway and long distance cross states travel. I have kept regular maintenance ie oil changes, tires and alignments and now due some spark plugs. I have never owned a better, more reliable vehicle. 10 out of 10 would do it again.

Good overall experience. As always, the dealership tried to slip in extra fees. This does not make this dealership any worse than others, but I won't give 5 stars when this happens. In our case, the sticker price was not what we saw when we sat down to negotiate. There was a $1,300 charge added for a security feature the dealership had installed. I had that removed: sticker price on a used car should be everything that the car is. I did not choose a $1300 option. The dealership worked with us and was friendly, except for the finance guy. It was late at night and he got a little snippy.

Very happy with our purchase! It's got lots of power & very comfortable. With 2nd row folded down we can get 24 bags of groceries in it. Seats are comfortable & my husband who's 6'6" has plenty of leg room. Now I understand why I see so many Kias on the road!!! It's a joy to drive!

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
This is my first Jeep I have ever owned. I always liked the looks of the Grand Cherokee. I’m happy with the vehicle. No complaints except it does like to drink gasoline. My previous 4 vehicles were all 8 cylinder full size pickup trucks. The Jeep being a 6 cylinder eats more gas. The Other than that, I’m very happy with my purchase of my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. 2021 Kia Sorento review
THIS IS OUR 4th SORENTO. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE OUR 2021 SORENTO SX. WE HAVE ALWAYS PURCHASED THE SIX CYLINDER FOR THE 2011,2015,2017. ALL THREE ENDED UP WITH 92,000 MILES. OBVIOUSLY WE DRIVE A LOT OF MILES PER YEAR. WHEN THE 2021 SX NEW DESIGN CAME OUT WE HAD TO BUY IT. WE WERE JUST A BIT APPREHENSIVE DUE TO KIA NOT MAKING THE SIX CYLINDER. ONCE WE DROVE THE 2.5 TURBO IT ACTUALLY OUT PERFORMED THE 6. PRESENTLY WE HAVE 46,600 MILES AND STILL LOVE IT. WHEN NEEDED THE ACCELERATION WHEN GETTING ON THE HIGHWAY IS OUTSTANDING. YOU WOULD NEVER FEEL THAT YOU'RE DRIVING A FOUR CYLINDER. BE VERY SURE TO BUY THE LARGER ENGINE WITH THE TURBO. IT HONESTLY MAKES THE DIFFERENCE. THE SX IS WELL APPOINTED WE EXTRAS. GREAT,GREAT VEHICLE FOR THE MONEY.

Dealership a little slow on responding to a meeting although the personnel were very personable when we met. I just wish they had pointed out that the car did not have adaptive cruise control or heads up display which evidently came with the upgraded version.
2021 Kia Sorento review
I have the Sorento for 2 years now. On long distance drives out of state the seats are very uncomfortable. The trim on the sides windows has to be replace because the finish comes off. The item has been on order for 2 months. Other than the issues I would recommend this car. My daughter still has her 2013 Sorento the engine was replaced this year under warranty.

2023 Kia Telluride review
I was very disappointed to discover that after paying the exorbitant markup of almost $10,000.00, that there is no power button in the car or on the key fob to open the rear hatch. I was also shocked that the front passenger seat does not have power controls, you have to reach under the seat to manually pull it forward or back. While I understand the safety feature to not accidentally lock a child in the car, I was unable to lock my car while trying to sleep in the back while camping. I'm hoping this won't be an issue in the future, but I had to have an alignment after only 12,000 miles and since I'm the only driver, I can assure you that I've never hit a pot hole or anything else that should have caused this. I do find the car comfortable to ride in and I like the safety features that alert you when trying to change lanes or if an object is behind you.

2021 Kia Telluride review
Bought this car as a retired couple to travel in. Lots of room for anything you need to carry while traveling or shopping. Also used to do day road trips with two more couples. Easy for us oldies to get in the second and third row seats, or go on outings with up to 7 people. Love the charging ports for everyone in the car. It has been a very dependable vehicle.
