This is 100% one of the best cars I’ve owned. 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E review
My first EV car. Not sure if I love this car or the fact that it is an EV. What makes this a bit different from a Tesla is that it still reminds you of a regular car in terms of gear shifting controls and displays. My car is a premium trim, dual motor and long range battery extension, so if you get a lower trim, the experience might be slightly different.

2018 Dodge Durango review
I had problems with misfire. Cylinder #5 misfire about 135000 miles. It was under extended warranty. Still cost me some dollars because the dealership some other issues needed to be repaired that they say they found and without repaired the warranty company wouldn't replace the Cylinder #5. Now I have 151000 miles and Cylinder #6 has misfire. I have a 2018 GT Plus. Very nice looking car. Now with high mileage it seems like a problem. I had all maintenance preformed including oil changes. That was very important because without that the warranty company wouldn't have paid for the repairs.

We were looking for a specific 2026 Tahoe. There were 2 similar vehicles at 2 different dealerships in the valley. But they were on the other side of town from us. We contacted both dealerships and they provided us with information. We decided to go to Earnhardt Chevrolet first. We started the process with Dave Wright. He was scheduled for some time off, so he contacted us and let us know that Ezra would be meeting with us when we came to visit and look at a new Tahoe. We went to Earnhardt Chevrolet and met Ezra. The Tahoe was ready for us when we arrived. As I was talking with Ezra, my wife walked around the vehicle and noticed some damage on the passenger door. We discussed it with Ezra, and we decided to hold off. We went to another Chevrolet dealership, and we found out how a customer should NOT be treated. So, the next day, a Sunday, we called Earnhardt Chevrolet back, but Ezra was not working. So, we talked with Jeremy. He was able to make the numbers work and checked on getting the damage repaired. We were contacted on Monday, and the Tahoe was scheduled for repair. On Tuesday, Dave Wright called us and said that the Tahoe was repaired and that he would put it inside the sales bay for us to come and purchase. Since Thursday was the Thanksgiving holiday, and we were working that day, we made arrangements to come back Friday. As Dave said, the Tahoe was waiting inside all nice and shiny! We drove it and decided to go forward with the purchase. Dave walked us through the paperwork and then we met with Tyler in finance. Tyler took us the rest of the way and got all of the paperwork finished up. And then we loaded up and headed home. The 2026 Tahoe is amazing! After all was said and done, we drove around 60 miles each way twice to purchase the Tahoe. The Earnhardt folks were great to deal with!! They functioned as a team and made sure that we were taken care of from start to finish. Our vehicle was all cleaned up and fueled up for us to drive home. 2024 Honda Pilot review
After almost 180,000 trouble-free miles with our 2015 Pilot and an excellent Honda dealer near by, we really didn’t look hard at anything but another Pilot when it was time for a new car. Our EXL, purchased in March 2024, just turned 20,000 miles. We have had no issues with it, and the trip computer says we have averaged 27.1 mpg over the last 5500 miles. That is about 4.5 mpg better than the 2015. The good: It is extremely roomy and comfortable, even the third-row seats. We are very pleased with the fuel economy for a vehicle of this size. The headlights are the best we’ve had on any vehicle. I really like the rugged looks, especially compared the the previous generation. It’s great on snowy and slippery surfaces. The not-as-good: This is my first vehicle with all the modern safety aids. I find the lane-departure system annoying, especially in construction zones. The first time I backed out of the garage with bikes on a hitch-mounted carrier, the car automatically slammed on the brakes so hard I thought I ran into something. (Pro tip: Use tow mode when hauling bikes.) I don’t use the adaptive cruise control because it starts matching the speed of the vehicle ahead long before I would normally change lanes to pass, even with the system adjusted accordingly. However, I can’t see that future vehicles will have FEWER of these features, so I suppose I will just have to get used to them.

2023 Toyota Highlander review
Have had our 2023 Highlander XLE AWD since April 2023. Live in Chicago area and have driven to Arizona and Maine. Zero problems with the car. We put a large Thule box on the roof, multiple mountain bikes on a bike carrier and a kayak. Lots of luggage, got 27 miles per gallon on both trips. Plenty of power in the Rocky Mountains. Would recommend the car to others. We have a great Toyota dealership but all we have needed is schedule maintenance.

2024 Cadillac XT6 review
No issues and it is much better than electric cars. Safer and much less expensive to own. Also much more convenient for normal driving .Not weekly range anxiety as I had when I owned an electric car. Never buy electric again.

I called on a used Porsche Boxster. The car was way overpriced in my opinion and while the sales person did not accept my offer and did not really come down much in price, he was very responsive and respectful. Dealers will hold onto to cars for long periods of time at over market prices. Maybe they need the inventory on a certain model and want to have something to show prospective buyers, and if the get a high offer than they take it. Or they finally make a decision that they have held it too long and drop the price to get rid of it?.
2021 Porsche Cayenne review
Purchased the 21 Cayenne S Coupe used with 12K miles in 2024. I now have 40K miles on it and enjoy it very much. The things I like are; the cabin comfort, 18 way seats with bolsters are great, it has all the power I need, ride quality with PASM is good, and there have been no issues. Porsche tax is high with depreciation and maintance cost a factor to be considred. Only complaint is the transmission downshift are clunky when changing between drive modes.

2021 Toyota RAV4 review
I purchased a 2021 RAV4 LE used in 2024 from Eco Park. Every time I take it to the dealership they offer to buy it from me. They stated " that this vehicle is in high demand." My personal opinion is as follows: Pros: High resale value when well maintained. Toyota's reliability. It has adequate cargo space. The exterior is attractive. Cons: The front seats are not very comfortable. It has no fog lights. It displays"maintenance required" then "take to dealership"sometimes prematurely, when an oil change is required.

2025 Hyundai SANTA FE HEV review
My household has owned many new cars over the years and previously owned a 2017 Santa Fe. The 2025 Calligraphy Hybrid has been amazing so far. Comparing it to the Toyota, Honda, Kia and Volkswagen in its class, we thought the interior was hands down the best in class. The amount of features included even outclass many in the next step up. Very quiet on engine noise and a nice smooth ride. We opted for the Atlantis blue exterior with the light gray interior and it looks great. We also like that the styling sets it apart from all others on the road. So far averaging 34 mpg and we are good with that. Super comfortable seats. The only nitpick would be that the driver attention warning, while using highway drive assist, is pretty aggressive and sometimes warns us to watch the road even when we are. Highly recommended.

2023 Lexus RZ 450e review
Absolutely love this car! Smooth, quite and just the right size. Beautiful interior and exterior. Some people complain about range but for me this works great. I'm getting between 3.7 and 3.9 kwh and a range of 255. It's a 2023 RZ450e AWD premium with 18 inch wheels. Not the longest range and not the fastest but true quality.
