2024 Hyundai TUCSON Hybrid review

2025 INFINITI QX80 review
I recently purchased a 2025 Infiniti QX80 at an excellent price. Even at full price, it offers good value in the full-size luxury SUV market. After one month, here's my assessment. Strengths **Styling**: The QX80 features elegant exterior and interior design that outshines most competitors. The Navigator's redesign was disappointing, while the Wagoneer lacks refinement. Only the Escalade matches its presence, though with a more aggressive look. **Value**: Infiniti's current market position creates pricing advantages. Feature-for-feature, the QX80 is thousands less than competitors across all trims. **Powertrain**: The twin-turbo 3.5L V6 delivers smooth power through a 9-speed transmission. I'm averaging 20-21 mpg in mixed driving (better than EPA estimates), though it requires premium fuel. **Comfort**: Ride quality and noise isolation are excellent for a body-on-frame vehicle. The air suspension mitigates most harshness from the 22" wheels. **Handling**: It drives more like a midsize SUV, handling mountain roads with unexpected confidence. Only the pricier Escalade V offers better dynamics. **Space**: Dimensions match standard Navigator and Escalade while exceeding the Lexus LX. The third row comfortably fits adults with easy access, and cargo space is generous, especially with seats folded. **Towing**: All models can tow 8,500 pounds, above segment average. Only Wagoneer models with Hemi V8s offer more. Weaknesses **No Homelink**: Inexplicably lacks the standard garage door opener system. Instead uses "myQ," requiring compatible equipment and Wi-Fi. 2021 Nissan Rogue review
I was shopping for a used vehicle to replace a Lexus ES 350 that was 11 years old. I was prepared to keep that car forever, but it was totaled in an accident. I went to CARMAX looking for another luxury vehicle, and then I saw this Rogue Platinum. It looked like new, but it was 5 years old with under 40,000 miles on it. It was Pearl White with an Absolute Black top. The exterior had only a small blemish on a rear door, otherwise it was perfect. What sold me on the car was the interior. It was a Saddle-and-Black combination with top-quality leather not found in this class of compact SUVs. Being a Platinum trim level, it had every option one could imagine - more than my old Lexus had. The interior also looked brand new. The car is comfortable, quiet, and brilliantly appointed. I've seen both great and terrible reviews on the Rogue, so I did purchase the CAREMAX extended warranty. I have had the car for only a month. Will it continue to delight me or disappoint me in the months ahead? Time will tell, but I love it now.

2018 Subaru Forester review
Great value considering the superior safety features, low maintenance and reliability. Rear wheel bearings have been replaced twice and just had the AC compressor and serpentine belt replaced. Albeit expensive repairs, all cars need something after the first 3 years. It's been 8 years and the car still run and drives like new.

2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
I've owned this for 6+ years. Only 18,300 miles. So, not what I expected when I bought it. I anticipated driving to many hot air balloon events across the country. But, then COVID and work from home. Now retired. No need to drive a lot. I've ensured that all maintenance is done as needed (maybe more often than needed). Other than a minor parking lot ding (not even a note apologizing), it's pristine. Side note: my dealership really wants this as a trade-in. But, I'm not seeing the advantage.

2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L review
i recently had a 2023 for explorer it was a good truck never a problem but not a comfortable as the jeep grand Cherokee l front seating is amazing no issues at all i did my research and made sure i bought one with the German transmission its a good idea to check that only thing i can say on the down side seam to be a little under powered but i can live with it decent milage 20 around town.

2019 Hyundai TUCSON review
I bought my 2019 Hyundai Tucson in 2021 from the Dealership as the second owner. It has not given me any issues. I get it serviced when required. It has never had any issues. I feel the interiors are comfortable. I love the butt warmers. I love the vibrant blue exterior. SUV has so much space. When I put my foot down it it definitely not my old 300CC Hemi Chrysler V6 engine but it eventually goes. It feels sporty and stylish. 26mpg on the freeway.

2025 Nissan Rogue review

2025 MINI Countryman review
I have had my Countryman S for about 7 months and 2000 miles (I have two other cars). It’s Chili Red with Petrol Blue interior. My favorite points are 1. The interior. If you love interesting fun interiors as I do then you will love it. If you try to avoid black interiors and exteriors you eliminate 90% of the cars other make. With Mini, you can get perhaps the most fun interiors anywhere and the Vescin seems comfortable enough. Just with they had ventilated seats. 2. Power, FINALLY Mini got a full BMW tune given you pay about the same price. It is plenty quick and I get 33-36mpg on the highway all the time. Drops much lower zooming around town. 3. Appearance and layout. I like the unique appearance, low roof line for kayaks and plenty of room for the kind of car it is. Negatives: 1. Electronics. Had several updates since I bought it and it has improved a lot but will take some getting used to. Use the favorites menu. Everything is pretty much forced onto the center screen. Sometimes Mini does things to be cute rather than practical. Rather than a start button it uses a flag toggle key you turn off and on like an old fashioned key. If you have to change cars like I do it’s confusing. 2. Center console. Basically, there is not one. There’s a little clam shaped compartment the size of a clutch purse. The armrest doesn’t open. Wasted potential. You will hate this if you are used to piling layers of stuff in a huge center console. Glove box is minimal, too. Neutral. 1. There’s no screen behind the wheel but there is a heads up display. Frankly, after awhile I don’t miss it at all. The heads up is excellent but it takes a little getting used to. 2. Suspension is a bit stiff like all Mini’s. Makes it sporty but trade off is feeling most road imperfections. It does take the top off bumps well but it’s a trade off. In summary, the reliability has been good AFTER the electronics updates and most things work well. It is just so fun to drive and look at inside and out that really I am not sure what I’d rather drive. You might cross shop the BMW X1 and see which works better for you. You cannot beat Mini interiors though for just pure fun and the driving matches on what is a practical Mini for a family. Oh, I got it to tow a camper but I have yet to do that. That is a great new addition in my book. I will probably get a kayak trailer.

2014 Kia Sorento review
2014 SXL, FWD. really nice vehicle.. great performance.. lots of high level luxury in the car.. including heated and cooled seats!! the touchscreen is easy to maneuver and the physical buttons make it very convenient and does not require that you take your eye's off the road. seats are very comfortable. I have two complaints. the chrome wheels.. almost impossible to prevent rust underneath.. would have preferred aluminum wheels instead. And the third row is useless and should never have been offered. Purchased vehicle used in 2016 with less than 3k miles on it. (really) Pleasure to drive, not to firm, not mushy.. great stereo.. I love this car!!!

2017 Chevrolet Equinox review
We bought 2017 Chevrolet Equinox 4 cylinder. Pre owned with about 59k miles. It’s over 110k and we’ve had the oxygen sensor and catalytic converter replaced. Also 1 tire sensor. We’ve put the 2nd set of tires on the car yesterday. Always Michelin as recommended and brake shoes. I just have to say I still love my car. It’s paid for and I’ll drive her as long as I can.

2022 Volkswagen Tiguan review

2018 Hyundai TUCSON review
Let me add to the engine problems. Overall I really like this vehicle. We have taken many trips and enjoy the feel on the road. Maintenance has not been a major issue until recently. It started using oil on a regular basis. About a quart every two to three weeks. At around 92k miles it is now in the shop waiting to see if Hyundai will honor their warranty. It needs a new engine. It runs ok now, for a sewing machine. Hopefully Hyundai will honor their warranty and I can get another 90k miles out of the vehicle.

2024 Jeep Compass review
We purchased a 2024 Jeep Compass Limited Elite. This vehicle has far surpassed our expectations for comfort, handling, road noise and quality. There is very little road noise we hear inside the vehicle, and this allows us to keep the radio turned down to a comfortable level. Handling is exceptional and very responsive. The driver safety features of lane guidance, adaptive cruise control (my favorite) and 360-degree backup camera are now features we will not go without after experiencing first hand performance. 2019 Subaru Forester review
I had to make a 5 1/2 hour drive recently and loved how smoothly my car drove, especially using cruise control with “eyesight” so it slowed when I was too close to the car in front of me. 05/01/2024 - will update if anything changes, but I couldn't be more pleasantly surprised by how NOT like a used car lot this used car dealer is. No pressure. No xx. Friendly. Seems honest and forthright. Personable people. They state that they won't put a car on the lot if it doesn't pass their mechanic's inspection. It's more important to them to make a reloable sale than to simply move volume. I hope that's true, because I bought my new-used car from them today to replace my old-new one that Lehigh drivers smashed up. I needed a boat hauler, and now I have one! I'm not happy to be on Lee County roads again, but I'm happy not to HAVE to take the bus, happy to be ON the water in my boat, and happy to have dealt with a dealer apparently interested in everyone leaving the transaction satisfied. They sent me a quote early in the process and before even being on the lot, which helped. "Gave me the Carfax [equivalent]", also. Took long test drive. Paperwork took a while, but it wasn't unpleasant. Did not trade in and did not finance, but review would not submit without me selecting something. Would do business with them again, and will update in a month or two if anything changes. Thanks Vince, Josh, and Linda!
2007 Hummer H3 review
I bought my 07’ Hummer H3 in 2016. My favorite vehicle so far. It had 147,000 miles on it then and I’ve had to spend some money on it but things will only run as long as you willing to fix them. And I wanna see just how long I can keep mine going. It’s just shy of 300,000 miles and I just had to replace the radiator. But would rate it 10 out of 10.

2019 Mazda CX-5 review
This is my second CX-5. This first was a 2016 I bought in 2019 and loved tremendously and then it was totaled when I was rear-ended by someone texting and driving during Covid. I drove a sort of hand-me-down Jeep for a while during the weird Covid period when everything was uncertain but knew I wanted another CX-5 as soon as I felt financially comfortable. The car is extremely comfortable, handles well and has a beautiful streamlined and simply classic look. My partner who is a die-hard Mercedes snob even loves it!

2022 Lexus RX 350 review
Love this car. Sitting in the driver’s seat is so comfortable. Silky smooth engine. Rides so nice and quiet. We have looked for this color Grecian water for a long time. Wanted no newer than a 2022 because we didn’t want the 4 cylinder. The 3.5 V6 runs so smooth. Would definitely recommend the purchase of this SUV.

2011 Jeep Wrangler review
There's nothing like a 2 door Jeep Wrangler when it comes to climbing rocks, crawling through mud, and making those tight turns. My other jeep was a soft top which can be noisy on the highway, but this hard top is quiet. I also love that roll cage/soundbar. I can still take the roof and doors off, put it in 4WD and have a blast.

2024 Lexus RX 350 review
Just picked up 2024 RX350 Premium+. Overall a nice car. I’m not a big fan of the 4 cyl. Powertrain however. Rather noisy and fuel economy is about the same as the 6 cyl. In my old 2019 RX with premium fuel required. Not a great trade off. New technology is pretty good and touch screen is much. Etter than the old RX touch pad. I think this is a better value than BMW X5 or Genesis GV80 with much better resale value.

2018 Jaguar F-PACE review
I bought (used) the R-Sport diesel in British Racing Green with roof racks. Super cute car, but not real roomy inside. I could complain about a lot of things like no compass and cramped back seat, but for me, the good points outweigh the bad. It has only been in the shop a few times (I'm the 2nd owner, so I figured things would be due to need replacing anyway); the gas mileage is phenomenal - on the highway I've gotten as much as 40mpg - and around town is an easy 30+. I like to stand out from the crowd, and this car certainly does it for me. Overall pretty happy with it!
