2003 Toyota Celica review
I bought a 2003 GT for 7.5K Canadian in the Spring of 2025 after having done extensive research. It was in mint shape with no rust and had been well maintained mechanically. My dream car is actually a pre-2008 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, but I wasn’t ready to spend that kind of money yet on a third car (I also own an Audi Q8 and a BMW i3). I wanted to experience a manual natural aspirated sports car again and based on my research the Celica was consistently rated as the fun to drive, practical, very reliable and affordable for a sports car…that sold me! So far my experience has been very good…the Celica GT is very fun to drive. The limited 0-60 speed is mitigated by the fact that you feel as though you’re going faster than you are as you sit low and get great engine and road feedback. It’s a high revving engine so most of the torque comes after 5000rpm. The GT is very track able up and down the gears and it manages just fine without the extra HP that the GTS provides (which is really only available after 6800 rpm…who revs that high anyway ?!?). The handling, steering, cornering and braking are all very balanced and therefore you can have a lot of fun with this car…this is the car for entry level car enthusiasts! I plan on keeping it for another few years before buying my dream 911 and driving off into the sunset on a winding back country road :)

I was told to test drive the car for hours if I needed to. I felt that the car matched what was descibed on-line and over the phone. The purchase and paperwork to get the vehicle was completed in less than 1 hour. They even recommended a nice restaraunt for dinner. Since then, I've put over 3,000 mi. on that car in 3 weeks! 2022 Toyota Prius review
This is my second Prius. I am bullish on Toyota autos. The stereo system is awesome. I purchased this vehicle to obtain great fuel mileage. This model year's Prius generates better fuel economy than the 2007 model I previously owned. The safety features prevent accidents due to unavoidable blind spots when viewing oncoming traffic thru the side-view mirrors. Pitfalls: less rear trunk storage space than the 2007 model. The center console box has less volume. I demanded a donut spare tire when I purchased this model. Not all models have donut spare tires. I do not think this is a auto to have in a cold climate state - - yearly issue of snow/ice and below freezing temps.

She can have the cars I was interested in ready for test drive and the sales person, Sevi, ready at the door. So I got up off the couch and went to dealership. Everything as she said. Took me on drives with different cars with Sevi and by 4:50 made a deal. Trade was good. I did have high mileage on my trade, so I can’t complain. Made a decision on a low mileage CRV EX. Red! Then the finance paperwork! Ugh! Felt like a house closing. But they are thorough! Very good experience! Would highly recommend Mariano Rivera Honda!

2004 Toyota Celica review
The seventh generation Toyota Celica is sleek, "designer" and far more fuel efficient than any other Celica ever made. The trade off is that the exterior styling is dated and lame after 2004. Unless the owner utilizes the aftermarket selections to individualize their car, a stock 7th gen looks like the Delorian- way past it's prime. The interior is much lighter than every other model before it. HOWEVER, it is also ALL CHEAP PLASTIC. only one surface on the interior is soft touch and it's not something you come in contact with often. Despite the creaks and moans of the interior, you will ultimately be pleased with the car, regardless of transmission choice. I've owned an automatic GT, a five speed manual transmission GT, an automatic GT-S and a six speed manual transmission GT-S. It all depends on your preference. If you want to learn how to drive a manual vehicle, I would HIGHLY recommend a 7th generation Celica. In my opinion, it is one of the most versatile manual transmission vehicles of its time. I.e. you can literally drive with the clutch engaged and the car won't shudder, buck or stall. It is an extremely forgiving and understanding car. Mileage that I experienced was always between 35 and 41. That was consistent with all of the models I've owned. With any vehicle, it depends on how you drive. But driving a Celica of this model year aggresively(PLEASE FORGIVE MY SPELLING) OR conservatively- you will enjoy the mileage. The engine of the GT was built for effieciency. The engine of the GT-S has more horsepower and torque, but it's efficient as well. As a daily driver, I would recommend an automatic GT. That is where I achieved the best fuel results. Comfort is an entirely different matter. The 7th generation Celica is cramped, tiny, tight and miserable. No butt support, no thigh support and no back support. This will cause you pain on long distance drives. But this can be remedied with a simple fix. A pillow or cushion on the seat. I bought a chair cushion from an antique store for $2, and that served as my drivers side cushion.

2000 Toyota Celica review
This was my first car, a silver 2000 GT manual, and it was a blast to own. Comfortable interior, great gas mileage (34mpg on the highway) and cool styling. My only issues were significant oil consumption (approx. 1 qt./300mi), and no anti-lock braking system, but other than that, it was a reliable car that got me to school, work and plenty of adventures.

This dealer had the used car I was looking for. The car had the right mileage and a clean fax. The dealership was 1 hour 20 minutes away from me heavy traffic all the way. I figured I would call and ask about the car anyway but I wasn’t planning to drive there. I talked to Phil, a sales rep, and what a gentleman he was. He told me the car was a trade-in and was in fantastic condition. Well, he talked me into driving down there. I arrived about 10 in the morning and left with my new used car by 1:30 that afternoon. I walked Phil through my 128 point inspection, 2 test drives and I ending up looking under the car for any problems. I could not find anything wrong. 2018 Toyota Prius Prime review
As our 2018 Prius Prime reaches its eighth year of life we can say that this has been an amazing car which is so great that there is no need to change to a new model with only 78K miles on the odometer. We have an extended warranty on the vehicle and for the first time has the vehicle required any service with parts replacement on the undercarriage. We have generally had a monthly gas bill of $3 or slightly more but Mr. Trump has see fit to increase that bill somewhat. What is amazing is that when the car is brought to the dealership for 5K service, such as oil and coolent changes and miscellaneous adjustments, we receive a dealership purchase offer which is about half of the amount that we paid for the car after receiving a small goverment kickback. But why change. I suspect that to be honest we have to give the one setback on the car which is that the front plastic bumper cover sits about a half inch or so lower than the top of the concrete barriers which are put at the front of parking places in parking lots. So, if you have to park over the barrier then backing off seems to pull the cover a bit off and it is a pain if not impossible to be it back in place.

2010 Toyota Yaris review
I purchased this 2010 TOYOTA Yaris with a five speed manual transmission in 2010 with 7 miles on it. It is now 2025 my Yaris had it's 15th birthday back in April. Tires, brakes changed at 50k. Water pump and serpentine belt (preventive maintenance) at 90k. Tires, brakes changed @ 100k. Clutch replacement @ 110k. If you are cognizant of your driving habits you can obtain over 40 mpg easily. I am looking forward to obtaining at least 5 to 10 more years of driving pleasure seeing how I have only 123k original miles on the vehicle.
