2026 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid review
This is my 2nd new 2026 Tacoma Hybrid LIMITED. Why the limited? Full time 4WD with ability to bypass center differential and go full time 4WD high and low, like the non-limited versions. I found that the torque was too high in anything but the full time 4WD limited hybrid, and the rear wheels would slip. If not full time 4WD, can't put into 4WD proactively seeing a dangerous situation ahead and making a turn until you are in the bad stuff, which is normally too late. In my humble opinion, if you don't have this specific variant of the Tacoma, it isn't worth it. The solid full time 4WD is worth it in all driving conditions from dry, to wet, to snow. No rear wheel slip pulling out of a slight incline on dry pavement. Even with weight in back, the non-full time 4WD models slip. That said, there are things about this that are annoying. The handoff from electric to gas can be jolting or grate on your nerves like hearing a bad song over and over again. However, the MPG gain, is music to my ears, instead of 16 or maybe 17mpg, I'm usually at 24mpg on a mixed run of city, suburbs, and highway. This is not like other hybrid models, in operation or smoothness. You will sometimes find when cold it is a bit clunky or unpredictable with shifts and stuff. And sometimes, braking can be unpredictable as to how much pressure is needed. I haven't figured out why, but think it has something to do with the hybrid as a non-hybrid 2025 trd off road I had, didn't have that issue. Now, the other annoying thing, and happened on both of the 2026 limited hybrids I bought. The drivers seat, the seatback, will recline all the way to touch the rear seat bottom cushion. Seems to be when you walk out of range with remote and car is running. Why? Don't know but will look into it when it goes in for its first service. The good stuff is many, and one of those is the A/C. It's a hybrid A/C system so it's not dependent on the gas engine running to put out super cold A/C. That is a must for me. And while there are no back seat vents for A/C, it cools the whole thing off well and quickly. The ventilated seats are also amazing. The large radio screen, the big dials to turn up/down the temp, and radio, these are awesome. Being able to see all around the truck, well that is so nice, no chance you won't see something. I know I use the auto on feature, so when starting out, or below 10mph, the cameras come on automatically. The remote features are also amazing. A digital key in your phone, a credit card sized physical key for your wallet, and the app will all let you get in and start and drive your truck. So if you forget your key, you can move on without it. You can set your HVAC settings from the app on remote start. You can check status of tire pressure, doors open/closed, windows open/closed, etc. via the app. Priceless. Overall, it's a great truck for me, an older guy who needs the legroom nothing else really can provide except a competitive mid-sized truck, but can't get as a hybrid and full time 4WD. Besides all of that, Toyotas do hold their value. When I traded in my Tacoma TRD off road that was about 3 months old, I didn't lose any money on it. They are in demand. And so are these models. The electric tailgate is awesome and would not want to do without anymore. Parking assist sensors are very helpful. And if people tell you the front spoiler underneath the truck looks stupid, I'll tell you that after a couple of days you never even see it let alone worry about it. If it helps mpg's, it stays on. The lights are all LED's in and out. The LED cargo lights and trailer light are very useful. Same with the puddle lamps and door marker lights for when a door is open to prevent others from seeing it Is open.

2023 Toyota Tacoma review
I’ve owned Toyota’s for over 20 years and have not been disappointed. My 2023 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 keeps that tradition. I bought the 23 model year for the naturally aspirated V6 engine given that in 24 the model went to a 4 cylinder turbo. I’ve only had it for a month but love everything about it. The build quality is true to Toyota and the ride is comfortable. I’m very happy with my purchase.

2025 Toyota Tacoma review
Just got a new 2025 Tacoma SR5 in the blue slush color. I love my new Taco and Temecula Toyota gave me a smoking deal on lt. I looked around at some other trucks. The Jeep Gladiator was kind of nice but they are having major problems with them. The Nissan frontier is a nice looking truck, but you don’t see many on the road. There must be a reason for that. lol. Ford was not willing to deal on the F150 price. I’ve had a few Toyotas and Lexus and they run for ever with no problems.

2025 Toyota Camry review
Excellent gas mileage! The 2025 Toyota Camry LE model is a very smooth ride. Sporty get up and go and very agile. The driver's seat is difficult to find the best comfort for long drives. Storage space is minimal, but I found add-ons that were a perfect fit. Bottom line.... a car you can trust that pays itself off at the pump!

2024 Toyota Tacoma review
New owner of a 2024 Limited, extremely happy with the driving comfort, even though it does have a restricted leg room in the backseat which seldom is used. Upgraded technology inside the cabin with the 14 inch screen and the dial controls for the radio four-wheel-drive and HVAC controls. I really like the spray in bedliner power tailgate the exterior bed lights and the power steps also the rear sliding power window. my fuel economy is about 22 miles per the gallon but as of now it’s only got 1000 miles on it so I’m anticipating that to improve as the engine gets broken in. I do find that the standard turbo four-cylinder makes a slight rumble going uphill, but I have ordered a sound attenuation pad for under the hood and that should eliminate that. I find the driver in passenger seats to be equally comfortable with good bolstering as well as a lumbar support system that is four ways. I was a previous owner of a Ford F150 and a Dodge Ram 1500, but I wanted a pick up truck that would fit in my garage. Having have been a previous Toyota owner, I am looking forward to many years of problem free concerns based on the high-quality of Toyota and also the ACSI rating number of 83.

2024 Toyota Tacoma review
For a non full size pickup it seems pricey, but then again full size truck prices are ridiculous. The interior is really nice, spacious and well built. The truck handles incredibly well, and the 4 cylinder turbo has plenty of power. I was impressed with it's 6,000+ towing power. The exterior is mean looking and looks great heading down the road. I bought a SR model because I need a truck, not something full of options. The only downside is the box is smaller and holds a lot less than a full size and the Toyota sense safety is a bit much. I know it's there for a reason but it can be confusing.

2023 Toyota Tacoma review
A great factory set up to start modifications. Upgrade OTT tune to rid gear hunting, seat jackers for better ride comfort. Add a leaf or suspension helper in rear to plant rear tires, upgrade front and rear shocks. Front factory springs pair perfectly with bilstein 5100s for better offroad handling.

2023 Toyota Camry review
I purchased 2018 White Camry SE with 8-speed transmission, with 36,000 miles on in May 2019. Now has 163,000 miles on it and still runs perfect. Everyone thinks it has turbo in it and that is because I use gear shift of course love the 8- speed transmission. Have no problems passing people. When I use cruise control at 69 mph have got around 41-43 mpg. Only issue had with my car was first year was a vacuum line staying open at times and it caused my car use more gas. Noticed the rpm guage wasn't dropping at times it was staying around 2 rpm instead dropping.. Took it to the dealership and that was the issue. Since then My car hasn't failed me at all!! Had for almost 6 yrs now and still love it!! I have been looking at getting Toyota Rava 4 but I keep going back to the 2021-2023 Toyota Camry SE of course White which to me is the prettiest and sharpest looking one. This is becaue I like to have little suv love have Tacome but I be looking at Camry SE. Lol.. This is a Nice looking , riding and very dependable car!! Thank You For My Toyota!!

2026 Toyota Camry review
This is the car to have for its segment. It’s beautifully designed. It’s reliable. It’s great on gas. I’m getting 43 mpg. It’s actually fast too with its torquey electric motors assisting its bullet proof 2.5 liter four cylinder. Comfortable leather interior is gorgeous.

In my humble opinion, if you don't have this specific variant of the Tacoma, it isn't worth it. The solid full time 4WD is worth it in all driving conditions from dry, to wet, to snow. No rear wheel slip pulling out of a slight incline on dry pavement. Even with weight in back, the non-full time 4WD models slip. That said, there are things about this that are annoying. The handoff from electric to gas can be jolting or grate on your nerves like hearing a bad song over and over again. However, the MPG gain, is music to my ears, instead of 16 or maybe 17mpg, I'm usually at 24mpg on a mixed run of city, suburbs, and highway. This is not like other hybrid models, in operation or smoothness. You will sometimes find when cold it is a bit clunky or unpredictable with shifts and stuff. And sometimes, braking can be unpredictable as to how much pressure is needed. I haven't figured out why, but think it has something to do with the hybrid as a non-hybrid 2025 trd off road I had, didn't have that issue. Now, the other annoying thing, and happened on both of the 2026 limited hybrids I bought. The drivers seat, the seatback, will recline all the way to touch the rear seat bottom cushion. Seems to be when you walk out of range with remote and car is running. Why? Don't know but will look into it when it goes in for its first service. The good stuff is many, and one of those is the A/C. It's a hybrid A/C system so it's not dependent on the gas engine running to put out super cold A/C. That is a must for me. And while there are no back seat vents for A/C, it cools the whole thing off well and quickly. The ventilated seats are also amazing. The large radio screen, the big dials to turn up/down the temp, and radio, these are awesome. Being able to see all around the truck, well that is so nice, no chance you won't see something. I know I use the auto on feature, so when starting out, or below 10mph, the cameras come on automatically. The remote features are also amazing. A digital key in your phone, a credit card sized physical key for your wallet, and the app will all let you get in and start and drive your truck. So if you forget your key, you can move on without it. You can set your HVAC settings from the app on remote start. You can check status of tire pressure, doors open/closed, windows open/closed, etc. via the app. Priceless. Overall, it's a great truck for me, an older guy who needs the legroom nothing else really can provide except a competitive mid-sized truck, but can't get as a hybrid and full time 4WD. Besides all of that, Toyotas do hold their value. When I traded in my Tacoma TRD off road that was about 3 months old, I didn't lose any money on it. They are in demand. And so are these models. The electric tailgate is awesome and would not want to do without anymore. Parking assist sensors are very helpful. And if people tell you the front spoiler underneath the truck looks stupid, I'll tell you that after a couple of days you never even see it let alone worry about it. If it helps mpg's, it stays on. The lights are all LED's in and out. The LED cargo lights and trailer light are very useful. Same with the puddle lamps and door marker lights for when a door is open to prevent others from seeing it Is open.

2014 Toyota Prius v review
So my wife picked it out Nov 2014. I was a little apprehensive, but the price was right. It had 9miles and we now have 50,056. The only issue was the front air dam between the wheels. Pull to close to the parking block and it will tear off when you back out. Never bothered to replace it. With gas on the rise our timming was really good. I'd get another V but it was discontinued. Versatile is a perfect description for it. Happy shopping 😁 It really handy size wise and mileage is super.

2021 Toyota Highlander review
We switched from 4Runner to Highlander! Many years of Toyota loyalty in our family. Camrys to Tacoma’s we have had them all. I stole my wife’s 4Runner away from her and replaced it with a 2021 Highlander XSE. It’s been awesome. Bought it brand new. We just hit 65k. We drive from northern Idaho to Scottsdale Az all year and at anytime. Yes, anytime. AWD Snowmobile. It’s awesome in the snow! 22-28 MPG on the Hwy. For those worried about driving a wagon looking vessel around that does not have the great looks of the 4Runner? Don’t worry about it. The XSE has a great looking front end. The XSE Model handles great and boogies. Yes, it’s quick and drives like a sports car. Well, it handles well not quite a sports car. Don’t get the regular Highlander. XSE looks different, has the JBL stereo and drives great. AWD with a Snow Mode. Oh, and it had a third row for little ones. Reliability - been amazing. Zero issues.

2022 Toyota Corolla review
Leasing this car. Expected to wait a couple of months but received a notification that a car matching my specifications would be available the next week. The car met most of my requirements. The price of the lease was considerably more than I expected to pay but I agreed to the terms. Two months after taking possession of the vehicle, the brake actuator failed and I lost use of the vehicle for two weeks. Of course, the repair of the brake actuator was under warranty! The miles per gallon are what I have come to expect from a Toyota Corolla - better than 40 mpg on the freeway, a little less on surface streets. I replaced the standard interior rear view mirror with the one that has a built in Universal garage door opener because there was not a convenient place to mount the garage door opener that I had used with two previous Toyota Corolla leases. The thing I like about this 2022 Toyota Corolla: good gas mileage, bright headlights, good interior space. Things I do not like: cheap plastic rear trunk wing that broke in drive through car wash, black out lettering that standout on the greyish body color, unlit driver side lock/unlock buttons that are hard to locate in the dark when getting out of the car.

2021 Toyota Corolla Hybrid review
Have been driving this car for almost 2 years and have been very impressed. Great car with technology especially having full safety features. Back up camera, pedestrian warning system, turning precaution side mirror light, etc work well and are much appreciated. Car is very reliable, comfortable and gets great gas/electric gas mileage. If you can possibly find a used one then immediately grab it. Price was also very reasonable. When I was in college I had a Corolla and even though today I can afford literally any car I want, this cat left me with such a good impression that I felt when a hybrid model became available I had to have one.

2019 Toyota Tacoma review
I bought a 2019 Tacoma with 89k. So far performance is fantastic and can definitely experience the quality build. This has made me skeptical of the reviews about poor engine build and transmission problems like hunting for gears. Can't pretty much dispel the proven track record of the 2019 as one of Toyota best build of the year. As for the transmission, it is still the best performing and reliable 6 speed transmission as compared to the other brands with high failure rates. One of the reason I stick with Toyota because I once had another brand manufacturer bought new and as soon as it hit over 100k, transmission problems or some solenoid problem. As for the engine, the dealer even included a lifetime engine warranty. That just tells me, they never expect the engine to fail. the review with the engine knocking sounds like an another brand car. it just doesn't happen to a toyota.

2025 Toyota Tacoma review
Toyota is just a great brand… My new Tacoma eats a little more gas than my previous one, probably because of the turbo. The performance, however, is great! It’s very comfortable, I notice it the most on long drives. I find the nighttime visibility really good compared to any other car that I’ve ever owned: The tech is okay but I want a lot more.

My 2021 highlander L I paid $27k @ 44k miles ih for it after 2 years taking it through ell & adding 50k miles (92k miles currently) im impressed by its 300 hp 3.4L engine but learned how important changing all fluild begor it starts to making noise and problems. I think as long as you change all fluids at by or before 90 k miles as milage it will continue to goFor 300,000 miles crossed finger . The dealer offered me 19k to trade in at this stage. 2017 Toyota Camry review
Bought my 2017 used in 2020 with 14,000 original miles. Very happy with it. The shifter took some getting used to as it's not as smooth as other cars in its class. Otherwise it's been very dependable, good at plowing through drift left by snow xxxxxxat my driveway. Good under carriage clearance. Great heating and cooling system.

2018 Toyota Tacoma review
So far I am very pleased with my Toyota Tacoma, it is more than I expected and the biggest surprise is the low interior noise and the smooth ride. I was able to go down to south Florida (Pembroke Pine area with my three kid and they enjoyed the ride. Every time we are going some where they want me to take the Tacoma instead of my wife Honda mini van.

2025 Toyota 4Runner Hybrid review
I have been buying Toyota 4-runners since 1998. I really like the dependably of Toyota. This is the first hybrid I have ever bought, so I can’t comment on that part, but I don’t like that is smaller then my 2016 4-runner. I can’t haul as much as I use to, and when you fold the seats down there is a big bump up from the seats being folded up, so no flat surface to haul. It has so many sensors for all the driving help aids that when I was driving in ice and snow none of the sensors worked , because of all the ice and snow. It was so cold you could not clean them off. As I was driving it kept giving me notices that nothing was working and consult the owners manual. Also the foot opener on the back hatch did not work either because of snow and ice. If you lose power for some reason I wouldn’t be able to open the hatch manually. There is a button underneath the y on the name Toyota to open the hatch which was not frozen. I liked my 2016 better, but I travel a lot , and it had a lot of miles, that is the only reason I bought the new 4-runner. Some features I love like the button that automatically dims the headlights when a car approaches. The automatic rear view mirrors are a plus for tight packing spaces so you can hit a button and they fold in. I love my heated and cooled seats. Has a heated steering wheel as well. Middle console is small , and the drink holder is right at my elbow when driving. Smaller then the 2016 4 runner.
