Chris Auffenberg Ford in Washington, MO gave me the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. I bought a used Acura from them in Dec 2013. They were much more willing to deal than the few St. Louis dealerships I shopped at. The money I saved was well worth the drive to Washington. The car I bought ended up having some problems and the dealership went above what could be expected to make it right. I highly recommend this dealership.

This was the only dealership that I went to during my buying process where I did not feel like I was getting pressured to buy. The sales man that I worked with was named Dave, and he was trustworthy and was very helpful. He did a great job of working with me to get a good deal on the best vehicle to fit my needs.
Not only did I get an online quote that was lower than any other Toyota dealer I sent an inquiry to but the staff was extremely pleasant. It seemed I was more important to them than just "selling another car" was. So I got the best price, I got treated with complete respect and honesty and I got a really good finance rate on my car loan. What more could I have asked for?
A friend of mine recommended this dealership when she knew I was thinking about buying a new Toyota. I decided to make the short trip from Union, Mo. to see what kind of a deal I could get on new Camry. I did find the Camry I was looking for and was given a price on the car. I didn't want to buy until I had done a little research on which Toyota dealers were offering the best prices. As it turned out it was Straatmann Toyota that gave the most aggressive price and I even had one dealer tell me there was no way they could sell the car at that price. The bottom line is that I bought a new car at this dealership and I was treated very graciously throughout the process. That's as good an experience that anyone can have at a car dealership!
I shopped online for a new Toyota Tacoma and got responses from four different dealerships. I would have thought one of the big dealerships in St. Louis would have offered the lowest price but I was wrong. The lowest price came from this dealership and that price was appreciable enough for me to take a short trip (25 minutes) from west St. Louis county to Washington, Mo. No one at the dealership used any pressure tactics and it turned out to be the best experience I've ever had at a car dealership, and I've had some pretty bad ones.
