I recently purchased a GL450 from Sterling and had a pleasant experience with them. Brad was pretty straight forward and answered all the questions I needed answered. I would have given 5 stars, but when I picked my vehicle up, could have been detailed on the inside (minor stuff that a vacuum and towel took care of the issue...wasn't a deal breaker), and I only had just under a 1/4 tank of gas and had to go fill up for our 1 hour journey home. I wasn't looking for a carshow car, just a vehicle that I didn't have to worry about mileage. This vehicle has some minor cosmetic and function issues that they took care of. I myself had a Check engine light that came on and went back off which happened twice and they made a note of it. Hopefully it won't come back on, but being a 2010, I have a feeling it will and I'm sure they will take care of the issue. Overall...Very good experience.

This car is probably the best in its segment if you'd like a car with some space, some performance, reasonable fuel economy (I get ~25 in the city, and ~30 on the highway), and pretty good refinement. I'm at 80k miles and have yet to have anything other than routine repairs on this vehicle too. Favorite things about the car: 1. VERY fun on backroads 2. Love the DSG transmission when manually shifting 3. Near crossover like trunk space 4. Plaid seats feel nice and look nice 5. More soft touch materials than most in class Least favorite: 1. DSG is not great when inching around in traffic 2. The car isn't really great at anything, but good at most things 3. I wish fuel economy was better, but I should probably drive slower on the interstate 4. Had bluetooth connection issues with my phone before replacing the head unit 5. Repair costs aren't great, ~$800 maintenance every 40k miles

Experience was great until I took car for detailing do to previous owner being a smoker. Car was simply “JUST WASHED” and loaded with air fresheners… THEY ALSO TOOK MY SPARE TIRE OUT OF THE CAR!!! TO HAVE KNOW IDEA WHAT HAPPENED TO IT!! Now everything I put in the trunk caves in….. frustrating…. OH AND. DID I MENTION THIS WAS A STRAIGHT CASH DEAL!!!!!

We went in to look at a car we saw online. We were greeted immediately by a gentleman named Arash. He showed us the car but we saw another one we liked better. After a little paperwork we took it for a test drive and liked it. Arash took the time to explain the process as we went through it and in short order we drove off with our new to us car. It took about 1 hours to get what we needed. It didn't seem like a long time. Easiest car buying experience ever.

From start to finish, I had an excellent experience purchasing a used 2009 Porsche Boxster that was in Near Mint/Mint condition from Capitol Volkswagen (DGDG) in San Jose. I had been searching the entire country, literally, for a nice 2009-2012 Boxster (i.e. 987.2, manual), luckily I found a great one at a reputable dealership that was not too far away. Everyone at Capitol Volkswagen that I dealt with made the purchasing experience a good one. In particular, Lori Campbell was very courteous and helpful throughout the purchase and in coordinating the transaction over the internet and phone, and to reserve the car for me, which was important because I live 450 miles away in San Diego. Arthur Fang was also helpful and easy to work with in setting up the financing, while Byron Bautista was great during the actual sit-down and signing of all the 'papers' (it's almost all done on an iPad nowadays).
