2023 Volkswagen ID.4 review
2023 VW ID.4 PRO S. 1 year this July of 24, 16000 miles. Before the latest software update of 3.1 or 3.5 we could the full state of charge was 300 Miles. After the update, the max SOC dropped to 253. But many software problems were fix. The 12V battery is stronger than the 2021 (they were updated later). Fast charge to 80% is 35 minutes or less. I charge at home in Arizona we have solar with SUNRUN. We installed a 50amp this provides us with using WALLBOX 11kw so for example, today Apr 8, 2024. to charge at home from 18% SOC to 80% took rounding up 3 hours. Not bad. March Electicy bill was $40. No expense for fuel and money saved.

2021 Volkswagen ID.4 review
I never even thought about an electric vehicle I did not think I could afford it so I went to the dealership and they had the ID for xxxxxx2021 for a deal that I could afford. I took it. I must say I love this car and a lot of ways it’s very comfortable. It looks great. It’s well made it is fun there are a few things I don’t like the cap where you plug-in the electric fell off and the driver side vent. My biggest issue with this car is the range it irks me to end it says 260 mile range I get you’re probably never get that but I’d like to get close. The most this car has ever got is 205 miles average about 189 to 200 mile range and this is not acceptable. I am in sales 250 mile range is great but to get less than 200 is not acceptable. Specially, over the car is this expensive. The color I love but underneath the door that panel gets very dull very quickly. It is also stressful because there’s not enough rapid chargers in Los Angeles. Part of the reason is I cannot have a charger at my apartment, so I have to struggle and try to find a rapid charger and there’s not enough of those around. Accommodate everyone. The infrastructure is building more level two chargers, which we don’t need. We need rapid chargers. I seen people almost fight overcharging stations. If I had to do this over again, I would’ve not bought this car at this time because of the lack of the charging stations but I actually do love it and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to gasoline again.

I bought a year old BMW. The price was better than I found at other dealerships. They were prepared to go as slow as I wanted and answer all my questions, but that's not what I wanted. I wanted fast! So after a quick test drive went in and signed the paperwork, while they washed it for me. They let me leave my old car there and drive my new car home. There was a headlight malfunction and they said it was completely covered under warranty. However, because it was a software issue, Carmax said I needed to take it to BMW, but that Carmax would cover any costs. They were true to their word!

2021 Volkswagen ID.4 review
I had multiple problems with infotainment screen which were finally resolved with replacement at 3.5 years. Car is solid, a joy to drive ....a true tight German machine. so many nice features, handling, turning radius, quiet comfort, visabiltiy and still solid after 4 years. the software may have some needs but the car is great. I am out of warranty and kept the car. It has been dependable after replacement of the screen. The price for a new one is now too high so I purchased an extended VW warranty.

We called the Dealership and asked if there was anyone that could come help and Ryan Slaughter came out. Professional, and to the point like I like. Helped that he is a Vet too which as a Vet I always look for. Showed us the vehicle that could not be found on the website but was on the lot. Was respectful to my wife and non-judging towards us, even as we were dressed to just walk around downtown Boerne after taking care of our Animals. Explained the Features, Options, No Pressure. We discussed, liked the Experience and decided to buy and honestly alot of the decision was on how we were treated. In the past years, weve had BMW, Lexus and the New Infiniti's and each time it is the way we are treated that to me is as much a part of the experience as the vehicle. Ryan was amazing. Talked like old friends instead of a Business. He did not pre-qualify. There's no way he could have known what we could do, didn't see the vehicle we drove in on, but helped us just the same. Definitely highly recommend him and his dealership. His Finance Manager was amazing too and took all my questions and answered them as I always have alot when it comes to big purchases. I'd thank him but honestly forgot to grab a card and it's 11 at night and I'm not going to wake the wife to ask to see the paperwork. LOL All around I give this dealership 6 out of 5 Stars as they went above and beyond in my opinion. -Chris
