Bought this car on a whim. Absolutely love it! It’s sporty, comfortable, safe, and reliable. It has a great design and wonderful features that come standard. So happy it’s a stick shift, has a turbo that accommodates regular gas, has great get up and go, and has PLAID HEATED SEATS!!! It handles like a dream, gets awesome gas mileage, and has amazing technology.
We could not have had a better experience! Loren Lookingbill and Cody Beaird are wonderful and went above and beyond to meet our needs and expectations! Absolutely the best car experience I have ever had!

Gas mileage is awesome , over 44 mpg in my S sedan Jetta. I wish I could have gotten the SE model Bluetooth is basic in the S. But SE was another $3500.00
The cloth seats are a pain to clean it looks like you spilled something on them when trying to clean them.
Getting it serviced every 10,000 miles is great or once a year.
The Touareg is the best possible mixture for me. It has an excellent full time 4 wheel drive system that is smooth operating (you don't know it's there until it performs magic) and works very well for light to medium duty off-road use. It also has a high quality comfortable interior that feels more like a Mercedes than a VW. It is a quiet highway cruiser for all day trips with road noise well muted and seats 4-5 people comfortably. The styling is very clean without all the creases and angles so common in many Japanese SUVs and is fairly rare such that you don't see yourself coming down the street every minute. I have owned 3 over the last 10 years and they have been quite reliable. I purchased a new Acura RDX and had it for 8 months and it was a fairly nice car but did not measure up to a Touareg so I traded it in for a lightly used Touareg. The only downsides to the Touareg are that a) it is not being imported into the US after 2017 due to poor sales volumes and b) it doesn't get the best gas mileage. I am seeing 19-20 MPG around town and 24-25 highway which is above it's rated MPG but not as good as some similar sized SUVs.
It was an excellent experience. The salesperson, Richard Vargas, did a great job of pointing out the value of the Prius and answered all of my questions. He spent a lot of time with me and my wife in explaining how the electronics worked. The entire purchasing situation was outstanding.
Worth the money

There is a lot of room in every area of the car, front seat, back seat and trunk. It gets good gas mileage. It is a very comfortable car to ride in.
I'm in the 3rd year of leasing this SUV and while I've only put on 11K miles, there has not been a single mechanical problem or issue. Volkswagen's "4motion" has been simply amazing in the snow here in Minnesota. It immediately engages (automatically) when needed and performs better than other all-wheel drive systems in low-traction situations.
This is the most comfortable car I've owned. I wouldn't classify myself as someone who loves to drive, but since buying this car, I actually look forward to getting behind the wheel. It's fun, comfortable, stylish, and of course, functional.
I should start by stating I have made some tasteful modifications to this car. Sport tunned Coilovers, ECU tune, Turbo back exhaust and an intake. This car is absolutely amazing. I'm currently making 227 whp and 267 tq on a factory clutch without incident. The 1.8 came alive with the Unitronic Stage 1+ tune and fuel mileage has actually gotten considerably better. Now getting 37mpg on average. Amazing vehicle with nearly unlimited potential.
based on the number of problems i have had with this car I will never buy a volkswagen again. Let me list the problems. Had to have a front end alignment before warranty was up, which the dealership tried to charge me for. replaced multiple front rotors due to warping. replaced driver side caliper due to sticking. replaced passenger side a frame bushing(not cheap) now the door locks are not working correctly.. the passenger side vents blow cold air when heater is on. both tail lights burned out and these problems started as soon as the warranty was up and the car does not have 80000 miles on it.. Dont buy this car!!!!!
Love our new car! Couldn't have asked for a better car-buying experience! The Woodway team was friendly, trustworthy, entertaining, and professional. Will definitely recommend this dealership to family and friends and will remember them for future purchases!
One of the most fun cars I drove.

Contrary to what most people think of a VW, it was reliable, not expensive to maintain or fix, and it was an absolute blast to drive. If I wouldn't move to a place that gets snow, I probably would never sell it.

This car I actually bought for its fuel economy.
Veyond that, however, its impressive acceleration and all the comfort features (too mant to list!) have been really great!
So I got this car to save gas, but got so much for the money!
Without hesitation (well, after checking the condition) I would but another VW Jetta in a heartbeat!
Had a 2015 golf. Lost heating after fix for loose fan. 2 years.
this 2019 Jetta has lack-luster start. I've had it for 1 month, back window defrost - doesn't work.
Annoying beeping when car is idle; active start also annoying in the winter; even with large trunk - not enough storage in the cab; and believe it or not -i certainly didn't, the comfortline (ill-named) doesn't let you know when you are out of wiper fluid. VERY SAFE IN THE WINTER. GOOD JOB ENGINEERING TEAM!!
I wouldn't change a thing in this car. It's traveled almost 120,000 miles across the country in just over 2 years and she hasn't stopped to complain yet! Comfy seats, quiet, smooth ride and great gas mileage! The stock sound system is better than I was expecting too when compared to some other vehicles in the same price range and style. All in all this car has gone above and beyond what I asked of it and I couldn't be happier!
This car was perfect for me! It got insane fuel mileage (TDI SE with manual transmission). It could be a grandma car or a fun sporty I wanna race car. My husband wanted me to get a vehicle that could tow our boat and get through snow better. So off it went. Might be my dumbest trade in ever.
