I recently purchased a used car. I had the opportunity to interact with many dealers and dealerships during the shopping process. My search ended at Continental Auto in Northborough. Steve and Rob were way above the competition! Smart, pleasant, polite, respectful, and honest. As a single woman there are many hurdles to cross when buying a used car. My experience here was seamless from start to finish and left me without doubt or fear!
Test drive - I took the car out myself.
Pressure - none applied.
Price - fair and without haggling, I took the car to my mechanic for inspection prior to purchase, he found a very small (easily overlooked) problem and gave me an estimate for repair, Steve and Rob were receptive and fair and we were easily able to reach an agreement about repair prior to purchase or adjustment of sale price.
Quality of inventory - very high.
Ease of transaction - Excellent! I put a deposit on the car the day I test drove it. They did all the paperwork quickly and easily on the day that was convenient for me.
Would I deal with them again - In a heartbeat, and I will send my family and friends to them as well.

I found this car on AutoTrader. The dealership was extremely responsive and quickly set up an appointment to see 2 different vehicles we were interested in at our convenience. They followed up, were very knowledgeable and I felt like I could trust them. The service once we decided to purchase exceeded my expectations as we were buying a used car that had come off lease. I've been happily leasing Lexus RX 350s for 8 years, 4 suvs; it was time for a change. I shopped numerous "comparable" (from GMC, Cadillac. Lincoln, Acura, Hyundai) vehicles, with the Volvo XC60 my favorite. Patrick Volvo personnel were welcoming without being overbearing, knowledgeable of their product and program options, accessible and responding to inquiries quickly, and put forth their best effort from the get go! They went above and beyond during the transition period, allotting me a loaner. I briefly met Keith Anderson and dealt with his staff during this process; my impression was that the service department is as competent as the sales team!
Richard Johnson greeted us when my husband and I walked into Lovering Volvo. He was perceptive and clearly understood our interests. From the test drive through the negotiations, Richard was helpful, professional, kind and respectful! We were impressed with the dealership and availability of the cars that interested us. This was a good choice for us!
Lovering got so many great reviews that we stopped there first on our quest for a new Volvo. What a great decision that was for our family. Although the dealership was fairly busy (it was late afternoon), we were greeted warmly by James Malone, took a car for a test drive (alone - felt good to be able to converse freely with my spouse without having a rep in the car with you), and ultimately purchased the best car ever! James even entertained the kids free of charge while we finished up the paperwork with the nicest Finance person I've ever dealt with.
Upon picking up a clean, shiny new car at the time we chose, Tom Coutu was professional, knew the vehicle well, helped with the complete setup of the car (including all the amazing techie features), and we were able to drive it home with all my preferences set and ready to go.
This dealership should be everyone's first stop if they are in the market for a Volvo.
Jesse was my salesperson and he was great! He made follow up contact but wasn't abnoxious. He was polite and patient.
And when the noise from the construction got a little much he found a more comfortable place for me to wait.
Jesse purchased my lunch and also went and picked it up!!
The sales managers were not as accommodating as Jesse so I highly recommend using him!
James Malone is an outstanding Salesman who easily anticipated my needs and assisted me in identifying the ideal XC90 for me. In a very short time and without undue pressure, he made the XC90 car purchasing experience the best I have ever had. I purchased the vehicle about a month ago and I am enjoying it immensely! As a previous and very satisfied owner of a 2013 XC70, I am extremely happy with the technological and ecological advances resulting in ZERO buyer's remorse. I am loyal customer to Lovering Volvo in Nashua, NH because the dealership has the best service department which is why I decided to purchase my 2nd Volvo at Lovering.
Great, easy, personable experience. I would recommend you give them a look if you are in the market for a car. As with any big purchase, do your homework, know the value of your trade, no the value of the car you want, understand where you stand if you need financing. If you do everything beforehand it makes things easier and more realistic for everyone involved.
