2007 Chevrolet HHR review
I bought the plain, zero frills LS new, in '07. 128K miles and counting. I haul my drums all over metro Denver and it fits all my gear, perfectly. It averages 24-28 mpg, per tank. I've lost track of how many times people have mistaken it for a PT Cruiser. It's no pocket rocket but then, I don't need to drive that fast.

2010 Nissan Cube review
I bought my car used, private party 2 years ago. It had over 200k miles logged. I drive about 1400 miles every other month going to Northern California. I LOVE MY CUBE. It's spacious, carries a load without a problem. The gas mileage can't be beat. I do have a problem with the back door not opening. The locking mechanism is faulty. I believe the frequency of this specific problem, Nissan should have a recall to replace the faulty locking mechanism. In 2 years the rear door has been the only problem Nissan did a good job with this vehicle

My 19 year old and his fiance just had my first grandson. They currently only have one car which was the the Saturn Ion I gave him that he "like his first Avenger" he clapped out and broke. I saw it and realized his fiance needed a car he can't touch lol. Enter bank of dad. I needed a car that will be a safe point A to point B for a fair price and this dealer had cars right where I was looking. I went there, explained my situation and asked what would be the best option. I got suggested a Malibu that after checking out told its own story that matched what I was explained. I drove it and while I'm at best a YOUTUBE certified mechanic, I'm a network engineer by trade and pretty handy. Shifted great, engine ran strong, and AC blew cold. This was a car that could easily be double sale price if they spent the money and labor in some body parts to make it "pretty" and a few hours of detailing. My son can fix stuff and have tons of detailing stuff for him to clean it. To anyone leaving bad reviews at a place like this, I can guess you probably just got unlucky. These places have to GET cars for less than what they are selling them for to make money. Obviously said person didn't find a car themselves for "x" price so they went to a dealer. The experience I had was that they were super up front and honest about what they're selling. At no point did I get the "if you just spent this much you'll get this or if this car is the most reliable car on earth, expect 1000000 miles etc". 2005 Subaru Outback review
I have a tan 2005 Subaru Outback I got it 6 years ago for 6,000. now it’s at 178k miles. Did it really go up in value? or is this a brand new one? (Just had an issue - starter, replaced it - he said “clearly you take very good care of it, gonna in good shape for a long time now”)

2015 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen review
We purchased a used TDI with 50K miles. now has over 150K and have only done oil changes and fuel filter. Only necessary repair was the HVAC blower motor just recently failed. Incredibly reliable car. Diesel engine paired with the 6 speed automatic trans delivers awesome torque whenever you need it. 50+ mpg on hwy trips and averaging 39 mpg commuting. The interior is obviously not luxurious but comfortable enough to keep you happy. I should mention the Stereo system and bluetooth is unreliable. Powers itself on and off at random and will require repair. The cargo area is surprisingly large when the seats are folded down as well.

2008 Kia Rondo review
I've had this car since 2009, it now has a little over 121,000 miles. Other than routine and expected repairs and maintenance it has been problem free. It still looks great with the exception of a ding on both front doors thanks to other people and a scraped back bumper that I did. It has been a great and very reliable car and I am keeping it until it dies!

2018 Volkswagen Golf review

2015 Kia Soul review
Our 2015 2.4L Soul has been great. My wife works a split shift, so she commutes to and from work Twice a day. So it gets a lot of highway miles. We also have gone cross country a few times. Always serviced at the dealer (which is more expensive), But it kept the warranty alive. Engine needed replaced at 95K due to oil consumption, but warranty covered it. Now at 220K AC compressor died. But that is the 1st repair we have had to do. Everything else is holding up fine.

2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack review
I drove a Golf TSI for years and absolutely loved it. Never wanted drive a different car as long as Iived. Then I had a kid(which is is tight with a golf) and someone pulled out in front of me and it got totalled. I took the money and upgraded to the Alltrack because its basically the same car with more room and AWD. Absolutely love it! Gas mileage is significantly lower than my Golf, but it still has some zip. The DSG transmission is like butter. Ill drive this car into the ground.
