Key Points

  • Pricing for the 2026 Toyota Crown Signia starts at $45,840 (all prices include $1,450 destination charge).
  • Contrasting black roof available with select colors for the Limited trim
  • No major changes

Toyota’s twin-Crown strategy is an interesting one. The Crown is a large, high-riding fastback sedan that offers a choice between two hybrid powertrains and is available in four trim levels. The Crown Signia shares the name, but it’s a quasi-wagon/SUV only available with one hybrid setup and in just two trim levels. Upgrades to the Crown Signia for the 2026 model year are likewise slight: A black roof is now optional with all exterior paint colors on the Limited trim. Otherwise, the Crown Signia is unchanged for its second year on the market.

Release Date and Pricing

The 2026 Toyota Crown Signia will go on sale before the end of 2025. Full pricing is as follows:

  • XLE: $45,840
  • Limited: $50,240

Trim Levels

As Toyota’s flagship carlike thing, the Crown Signia is packed with luxury and tech equipment even in its entry-level trim. The XLE rides on 19-inch wheels and features keyless entry and start, LED exterior lighting and a hands-free power rear liftgate. Its interior is upholstered in leather and boasts power-adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel and dual-zone automatic climate control. Cabin tech consists of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, six speakers, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard on every 2026 Crown Signia. This safety suite includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering, lane departure alert and steering assist, road-sign recognition and automatic high beams. Blind spot monitors and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard.

In terms of standard equipment, the differences between the XLE and Limited are few. The Limited adds 21-inch wheels, a panoramic moonroof, rain-sensing windshield wipers, an 11-speaker JBL sound system, a digital rearview mirror and Digital Key capability, which allows owners to use their phone as a vehicle key. The two-tone exterior finish with a black roof is only available on the Limited, however, as is the optional Advanced Technology Package, which adds front cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, lane change assist, traffic jam assist, power-folding mirrors and a 360-degree camera system.

Powertrain Specs and MPG

The 2026 Crown Signia’s hybrid powertrain teams a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors for standard all-wheel drive. Power is routed through a continuously variable automatic transmission, and total system output is 240 horsepower. Toyota says fuel economy lands at the same EPA-rated 39/37/38 mpg city/highway/combined as the 2025 model (official EPA estimates for 2026 are not yet available).
